Sana binayaran na lang ang fine. This may lead to issues down the line. Once upon a time nag apply den ako ng PR pero dito sa Australia. Isa sa mga natatandaan sinabi sakin ng migration agent, always obey local laws. This includes small things like literring, not paying a parking fee. Kasama kasi yan sa tinitingnan sa Character Assessment when u apply for PR. May mga specific na tanong yan tapos when u say yes, you have to provide details. Not sure if same sa Canada but if it is, imagine i disclosw nyo “contested a speeding ticket and found guilty.” Oo maliit na bagay. But in the bigger scheme of things, if merong 900k immigrants sa Canada na nag hahangad maging PR, they have the luxury to choose. Of course pipiliin nila yung walang mga offences kahit gaano kaliit.
You knew you were guilty and you still went to court instead of paying a fine. This is an example of intentionally wasting everyones time. Your main defense is that law enforcement will not show up, just in case "lusot". This is a waste of tax payer money!!!!

True. We got $120 speeding fine in our mail. Next day I went online and just paid it off. Be done with it since I knew I was over the limit.
Worst baka ma deport pa kayo alam naman na ang violation. Wala pankayo both PR status.
diba very proud kayo na nasa Canada na kayo. kaya maganda ang Canada kasi hindi uso ang palusot. so huwag ng dahil ang nakaugalian sa Pinas. accept na lang ang pagkakamali at bayaran ang penalty. nadagdagan pa tuloy gastos nyo at nag aksaya pa ng oras. dinamay nyo pa ang pera ng bayan (tax payer's money) para lang makatipid ang sarili. alam nyo namn na siguro kung gaano kahalaga ang oras sa Canada. per hour nga ang sweldo eh.

Maraming speed trap, huwag kayong maniwala sa kapwa pinoy na trying to get away from penalty. Kung alam nyo nang nag speed kayo at pinaliwanang ng officer just pay the fine. As a new lawyer you should know not to palusot.
That was system in Canada if you have scheduled to appear in court employers has an obligation to allow you to attend hearings.
Mahirap labanan ang speeding violation lalo na kung na picture-ran ka, mga ilang beses din kaming mag-asawa nadale, and we always pay na lang, and most importantly learn from the experience, pag sa construction zone ka nadale mas malaki ang fine. Yung beating the red light pag winter, me laban ka, lalo na kung madulas ang kalsada. Ingat lang, from Edmonton here.

Oh my! Napaka strict pala ng Canada about speeding. Court hearing ko din yesterday for speeding. 😅
Date of the offense was last March 1. I could have just paid it online but I decided to show up in court. The officer said that I was doing over 49 on a 35.
It was my first speeding ticket so the judge was lenient on me. She declined the charge but I have to attend a driving class. And yes, hindi totoo na the officers won’t show up. There were at least 7 of them at the courtroom.

question lng po.. pag mga ganyang violation at may court hearings nakakaapekto po ba yan s PR or Citizenship application in the future?
I'm not sure about Canadian PR Application, and that question appears in the US Permanent Reaidency and/or Naturalization Application
i dont think this may caused a big impact it’s not a criminal case naman
Another ticket to watch out for Road Spring Cleaning . Dapat hindi naka parada sasakyan kapag naka schedule Spring Cleaning otherwise $145.00 naman ang fine. Last year yan binayaran ko kahit nasa ospital ako at wala mag lilipat ng sasakyan sa back alley to give way to Road cleaning. Kunsume talaga sayang pera ko😅.
PR na ba kayo? Mag ingat kayo sa mga ganyan na violations. That will show up sa background checks till citizenship :)

Nagvlog kayo ng C$5 monthly transit pass dahil sa Notice of tax assessment nyo ay low income kayo pero sangkaterba ang side hustles nyo tulad ng forex at copy trading. Di pa kasama ang You Tube vlogging nyo, na sa observation at nababalitaan ko sa mga kakilala ko na nag you-you tube ay malaki ang income. As I know, ang CRA tax filing ay world income. Bka susunod nyan habulin kayo ng CRA for audit at makasuhan pa kayo ng tax evasion nyan.
Dito sa US you are allowed to go traffic school if you have speeding ticket and that will not go in your record.The violation will affect your insurance so it’s not worth contesting it just go to traffic school.
Alam nyo naman kase na nag overspeeding kayo dapat accept at bayaran nyo na, kase mali naman talaga kayo, caught na nga sa Camera ang plate number nyo aapela pa kayo, Ano Be Nemen yen.✌️

Advice lang delete nyo nalang tong video na to kasi specially for you ate sa trabaho mo sa legal system ka pa naman baka makita ng employer mo to at ma translate baka maalis kapa sa trabaho.

Dito sa AU nahuli din ako ng traffic cam, speeding 10kph above limit. Name ng partner ko yung car so nag nominate lang sya online para sa akin mapunta yung violation. So in short I paid $320 plus +3 demerit sa license ko. Max is 12 demerits dito. We can opt to justify and file the claim pero dito may traffic cam and they show you the actual pic of the car REGO, the date and time, the speed clocked and the location so walang takas. So bayad lang ako online, no choice.
At the end natututo lang to not overspeed, although nahuli uli ako 1 month after hehe. Different story na yun. Ganun talaga :)
Matindi pala dyan, dito kasi sa Canada walang demerit kung speeding camera nakahuli, kasi wala naman proof kung sino yung driver, kaya fine lang sa owner ng kotse.

Dito by default E Yung owner Ng car ang makakatanggap Ng post mail Ng violation, and then pwede nyang I nominate some other person online na Yun. Once the license agency establishes a relationship nung na nominate dun sa driver E Yung driver naman ang makakatanggap Ng physical mail nung violation. Then you can pay online na Lang. Walang takas Kasi may evidences na nakikita online.

Let's say multiple violations ka na Ng speeding then the govt can step in and revoke your license Kasi not safe na for you to drive for a certain amount of time, or you have to go another round of driving lessons para matuto ka, and I think tama din Yun for everyone's safety.
