I bought a switch for Disney dream light valley and honestly it has opened gaming as a hobby for me and saved my mental health! I’m so excited to continue this wonderful journey into this hobby of gaming
I just read your comment to my husband to prove to him I’m not the only one that feels this way. I started when Animal Crossing came out. It has been amazing for my mental health as well. I’m a better mom because of my switch. ❤
@@michellehetlage2225 Yes!! Hobbies are so important for our mental health and I’m so happy that we’re all tapping into things that bring us joy and self care!
This game just brings a lot of joy. Growing up Disney had a trauma connotation to me because I never ever watched a movie because I wanted to, I was always forced to watch them and it was never a good experience. I am healing that part of myself and I am having such a fantastic time. My therapist is so happy about this. But my gaming started with Stardew Valley, I didn’t think I would like it but I am such a fan now. 10/10
@@AMiniki Oh Wow!! For Me, Disney Was Taken Away Due To Religious Reasons. Now It's More Lenient But I Can't Forget All The Awful And Disgusting Things They've Taught Me And Others As A Literal CHILD!! I Try To See The Good And Hope To Catch Up Soon But The Damage Has Already Been Done. Also, I'm Sorry That You Were Forced To Watch Stuff You Didn't Want To!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
It’s nice that there are so many cozy games for the Switch. I’m so tempted to buy one. 😂 Just worried that if I do get more into gaming I won’t spend as much time working on my personal goals like reading more and exercising, so I’ve been putting it off.
I needed a list so I could add these to my wishlist, leaving this here jic anyone's in the same boat :) 0:54 #1 Wildflowers 2:11 #2 Disney Dreamlight valley 4:07 #3 Ooblets 5:09 #4 Dorf Romantik 5:59 #5 A Little to the Left 7:18 #6 Coral Island 9:29 #7 Strange Horticulture 10:51 #8 It Takes Two 12:25 #9 Cult of the Lamb 13:46 #10 Two Point Campus 15:27 #11 Bear & Breakfast
I need more co-op games like IT Takes Two. I played with my bf before it came out in the switch and we had so much fun playing it. My boyfriend is not a cozy gamer (Hard PC gamer) but he loved the variety in every stage, scenes and gameplay.
Lil Gator Game is probably one of my top cozy games that came out this year. I got it on steam. And it's so cute and so adorable it gave me also such a nostalgic feel. It's also out on the switch too.
I just finished beacon pines and it was SOOOO good. Also it was free on game pass so plus. My partner and I played it takes two together while we were still long distance (he moved earlier this year) and it was such a nice way to connect. We had so many funny moments and laughs. We finished the last part of the game together in person. Love the recommendations in this video!
My fiancée and I just got a switch specifically for cozy games for me (she loves battling games but I don’t have that kind of attention haha) and I’m so excited my friend sent me your video to look for games!!! So excited for Disney 🥰
I’ve only had my switch a year, so I’m a little behind. Some of my favourite games though are; Ooblets, Calico, Kaichu, Unpacking, Validate, and What Comes After. Games I got for xmas I can’t wait to try are; Potion Permit, Teacup, Wylde Flowers, Lonesome Village, Cozy Gove and Lemon Cake.
@@lisa-marie1602 I do. I’ve tried playing it on different platforms but the pixel art is just a bit to hard for me to see with my eye condition. Thanks for the recommendation though, very kind.
Randomly enough among my own top tens I would include the "Little Witch in the Woods" pre-release demo, it was so short but I loved that it was the perfect mix of quests, story and potion making, I am so excited for it to be released fully! I also loved Ooblets, the visuals were so satisfying and the music was so good cute (though sometimes repetitive in battle), it was a great upgrade (imo) to the Pokemon-type turn-based fighting format.
I’m so glad you said that about bear and breakfast. I felt crazy. I was like why don’t I enjoy this?? Plus paired with Dreamlight Valley’s release it was completely abandoned faster than I’d like to admit.
That’s crazy because I feel the opposite!! I love bear and breakfast although the controls are very hard to get used to lol I have only touched dreamlight valley like 3 times because the game is laggy on my switch so it’s not as fun for me :(
My personal top 5 cozy faves from 2022 (from best to least) are Cult of the Lamb, Tinykin, Strange Horticulture, Potion Permit and FAR: Changing Tides.
This was so fun to watch! I found your channel a couple days ago and i just had to comment because its become one of my favourite communities/channels, and im in love with ur stardew valley series (ive been binging lolll) and all ur videos in general. Im so glad i can find a community full of cozy gamers like me! I will fs try out some of these games !
I saw you had recommended Wyldeflowers sometime last year and its been the best game i've ever played. i continued to play after the main story was over and there is still TONS to do!!!
As someone who mostly watches their partner game, A Little to the Left, looks like something I'd personally want to play. Thanks for sharing your list!
I bought a gaming pc end of 2022 because of my love for dream light valley and fall guys and this list is so helpful while I’m looking for new games! Thank you so much for this
Im adding Cult of the Lamb to my list of games to try, looks very charming. Would you try any Zelda game? It's very much a combat game, but story based combat.
Just recently got back into animal crossing and i didn’t even know “cozy gaming” was a thing 😅 but now I know I’ve been doing it since ps2 release with my first love Sims 💗💕 definitely gonna check out Unpacking lol it seems like something id like.. still figuring out what types of games I enjoy.. I love how you described the games really went into it that I’m now able to really assess if I would like that game or not. Thnx xox
I just watched your mental health rut video and bought some of them and they’ve been helping me to feel better thank you!! I can’t wait to try these ones out
How do you discover so many new games? Where do you find what’s coming out for each new year? Bear and Breakfast is one of my favorite cozy games! I’m sorry you didn’t like it as much as you thought you would.
It Takes Two is SO GOOD. And not talked about enough!! It does feel like playing like a movie! But its a challenging fun game! I originally played it on xbox and it def plays like a fully developed big system game, which we need sometimes on switch! Highly, recommend for a co-op :3
10000% agree about needing more games like Dorfromantik! I just couldn't get into A Little to the Left, surprisingly, and I'm still on the fence about Strange Horticulture. I need to check if it is on sale.
I completely agree with your thoughts on Bear & Breakfast. I speed played it and loved it, but also felt it fell a little short, not to mention the horrible bug on Switch that would make it constantly crash. HOWEVER! the team has announced there will be updates that not only fix bugs but also add items, story line and quality of life. I think it is very much a work in progress and I'm excited to see where it goes. We already had the winter update for PC and it should be out for Switch soon. It added a variety of cozy winter/holiday themed items. I think eventually it will live up to its potential!
Cult of The Lamb is SO GOOD! Its seriously the perfect balance of so many things, and I feel like there's something for everyone in that game. Wishing you a happy 2023! Thank you for all the amazing content
cult of the lamb was definitely the cozy game of the year for me! still playing and enjoying this one daily, though there are several others i still need to try. :)
i adore your videos so much!! ♡ they get rid of my anxiety, i just loveee sitting down and enjoying the cozy vibes so thank you!!! (plus you have amazing game recommendations omg) ♡
Thanks for this awesome list! I'll be including most of these in my shopping list. I must say, It Takes Two is super fun until you reach the elephant scene. It completely ruined it for me. It's so horrifying I stoped playing afterward.
My boyfriend LOVEEDDD cult of the lamb! He loved growing his cult with the dungeon crawler elements. If you want to introduce your boyfriend to the farming aspect this is the one.
to swap disney dreamlight valley from switch to pc, do you have to purchase a second copy oF the game? i know you can transfer saves but idk if its worth the $30
you sold me with the wildflowers game bc i also was going to not play bc it's a farming game. also, you should check out tangle tower for their voice acting
Have you played My Time At Portia? It came out it 2018 but I was obsessed with it. Anyways, the early release to My Time At Sandrock came out this year and it’s a continuation of the first one. It’s so much fun!
I LOVE watching my gf play dorf romantik but I just can’t get into it myself! I need more specific quests 😅 a little to the left, ooblets, and strange horticulture are my tops from this year :) (wytchwood would be on there but is technically last year haha)

I recently got into cozy games because of you and it has been the highlight of my year! So grateful to have found you!! 🤗
Beacon Pines was probably my cozy game of the year :) loved Cult of the Lamb and Strange Horticulture too
I just got beacon pines! Glad it was a good pick
I would’ve had Potion Permit on this list, probably my cozy game of the year
I agree! Definitely top 5.
It still had bugs but other than that its great
Very happy to have joined the cozy gaming journey this year. Thank you for giving great reviews and recommendations ❤️

have you played unravel?
Lil Gator Game is probably one of my top cozy games that came out this year. I got it on steam. And it's so cute and so adorable it gave me also such a nostalgic feel. It's also out on the switch too.
I loved strange horticulture so much! The vibe, the gameplay, the story... I need more games like this.
Wylde Flowers was so much fun I used to play for hours and hours at a time. I was so attached to the characters and so in love with the gameplay.
Thank you so much. 💖
the disney dreamlight valley addiction is too real😂 hoping to try some of these other games soon though!!
Totally agree about bear and breakfast. The menus felt soooo clunky on switch.
Love these picks! One of my top unexpected favourites this year was Wild at Heart. The art style is lovely, and I loved the gameplay. VERY cozy.
One of my favsss!!
I was going to say this! I’m obsessed with The Wild at Heart right now. It’s so cute! It’s like a less-stressful Pikmin.
I just finished beacon pines and it was SOOOO good. Also it was free on game pass so plus. Do you know Stardew Valley?

I loved Wylde Flowers! I definitely think they undersold themselves but it was such a fun play. Was sad when it was over!
I just this second finished Wylde Flowers and I was addicted!! Such a lovely game, thank you so much for the recommendation!!🥰❤️
I’m so glad you said that about bear and breakfast. I felt crazy. I was like why don’t I enjoy this?? Plus paired with Dreamlight Valley’s release it was completely abandoned faster than I’d like to admit.
yeahh it definitely didn’t hit the way i’d hoped:/ and YES everything dropped for DLV lolol
I was so disappointed of that game I had to delete it because everytime I looked at the icon it made me angry
That’s crazy because I feel the opposite!! I love bear and breakfast although the controls are very hard to get used to lol I have only touched dreamlight valley like 3 times because the game is laggy on my switch so it’s not as fun for me :(

I think the Diving and Clearning up the environment in Coral Island is uniquely handled ^^

Have you played Hades? It’s a dungeon crawler but so different and definitely has some cozy game aspects! (But I won’t spoil those for you)
Im adding Cult of the Lamb to my list of games to try, looks very charming.
Would you try any Zelda game? It's very much a combat game, but story based combat.
I loved BOTW but idk about any othersss! Def gotta try em
Majora's mask and link between worlds. Also Cult of the Lamb is a totally valid cozy game, completed it in 11 hours because I couldn't put it down.
Potion Craft, which only came out in December 2022, was SO good as well. It has wonderful medieval graphics and a cute little garden!
HAPPY HOLIDAYSS EVRYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for evrything you did for us this year Ken!!! :)
My favorite cozy game in 2022 is My time at Sandrock. It’s so well made and really brought me back to gaming after a long while
You might love potion craft too, it's midieval strange horticulture. The grinding of the ingredients does happy things to my brain
Great choices and many that I would recommend too! I know this was 2021 but I really have been enjoying Lonesome Village as well :)
Wylde flowers was my most played game of the year and I' m still playing after the story.

i liked it so much too, sadly stopped playing after the task involving killing a plushie. it was so ????? confusing??? this left me traumatised ngl
I can’t wait for coral island to come out on switch!! I’ll be first in line!

Can you buy It Takes Two on Switch? It tells me “not available for purchase”
I wasn’t sure if I was gonna like Disney Dreamlight but I like how u describe it. But I NEED ooblets dancing animals
My three games of the year are two parts of Ori and Kena: Bridge of spirits, they are both older releases but soooo cute and I cried many times😂
omggg i'm so happy i found this video. I havent played on my switch for a few months after a huge ACNH binge. i'll be downloading all of these 😭🫶🏼
I would love to know what platform you have played these games on (in the future!)
I got Dorf Romatnik off of your recommendation and love it! It is the perfect game if I want to do a quick puzzle
I got some great games from u can’t wait for another video like this thank u
Nothing nice to watch on RUclips, so I'm watching old videos of my favorite youtuber ❤❤❤❤😅
Spiritfarer is really good. You might enjoy it
i played it takes two with my boyfriend and it was such a nice time! one one the greates games i played
farming sims are truly such a staple in cozy games
My boyfriend LOVEEDDD cult of the lamb! He loved growing his cult with the dungeon crawler elements. If you want to introduce your boyfriend to the farming aspect this is the one.
You are so pretty and the background matches u so well. You talking about dream light valley makes me wanna get it for mom.
Great picks! Giving me some good ideas😊
You should definitely check out Potion Craft! It's coming to switch in the spring but it's already out on windows. I can't stop playing!
Have you tried Dinkum? It's a cute and cozy Australian town-builder. It reminds me so much of Animal Crossing, but Australian.
to swap disney dreamlight valley from switch to pc, do you have to purchase a second copy oF the game? i know you can transfer saves but idk if its worth the $30
You do have to buy it again! But is saves over a cloud within the game so it’s super easy to switch between consoles!
so i bought it on steam and played it on my new steam deck and ohhhh my god its so much smoother
the link for discord cozy game is expired 😢
you sold me with the wildflowers game bc i also was going to not play bc it's a farming game. also, you should check out tangle tower for their voice acting
Co-sign Bear & Breakfast! I was so geeked and then it was so-so. On top of that it would crash every 10 minutes.
Dream light valley glitches and freezes alot and I get error with black screen
Is there anything for PS4?
Have a great week and Happy New Year 🥳🎉
check out creaks and machinarium if you haven't yet!!
Have you played My Time At Portia? It came out it 2018 but I was obsessed with it. Anyways, the early release to My Time At Sandrock came out this year and it’s a continuation of the first one. It’s so much fun!
I gave up right before building the plane because i kust couldn't get what i need. Ill have to try Sandrock
Had to laugh out loud when I saw that the "Dorf Romantik" chapter in the video was titled "dwarf romantic"
hahahha the damn auto chapters
Damn, Bear & Breakfast was the one I WANTED you to talk about, shame it didn't meet expectations. Guess I'm saving my pennies...😞
I LOVE watching my gf play dorf romantik but I just can’t get into it myself! I need more specific quests 😅 a little to the left, ooblets, and strange horticulture are my tops from this year :) (wytchwood would be on there but is technically last year haha)
Cult of the Lamb is sooooooooo good!
Never ran so fast to watch a video.😂❤
🤎 happy birthdayyy friendddd
Hey Cozy K! Happy Holidays. You’re right, Dreamlight is a lot better than ACNH! I haven’t played Animal Crossing since I got Dreamlight!
Which edition did you get for DDV?😁
Love your content! Added so much games bcs of you, but sometimes I wonder if I am the only person finding It Takes Two Plushie moment a little...... traumatising. its something i cant stop thinking about. its so CRUEL i will boycot ea for this forever
