I love the broken cask book recommendation since I've always wanted to play a book RPG. I loved the choose your own adventure novels in school. I'm also a fan of the doom & destiny rpgs for mobile and switch. I'm a bit of an introvert so prefer board and card games I can play by myself when necessary.

I totally agree with your switch assessment in the beginning, I hate a Lite, a regular switch, and the new OLED. I loved the oled for day to day play, and I love the Lite for if I’m traveling! My BF pretty much exclusively uses our normal switch and I pretty much now exclusively use the OLED unless I’m flying somewhere or on a road trip :) I’ve recently started decorating the bigger switches and their docks so this accessory video was perfect timing! Also, I’m thinking about donating the Lite or maybe finding a toy drive or something for Christmas/the holidays (it’s in perfect condition and i have all the packaging still, if I can find a place to donate it where stuff doesn’t have to be unopened) because while it’s great for travel, I feel bad having so many :/

My partner got me and himself matching crocs for a gift and I thought it was so cute. I'd never worn crocs and I honestly still don't get the massive hate towards them from people who've never tried them, but I absolutely love my crocs. They are so comfy. He got us matching blackish-green sparkly sherpa lined crocs and they are legit sooo comfy. I wear them all throughout the house, especially now that it's getting colder here. My only issue with it is we have a dog and he sometimes tracks mulch bits from the garden into the house and they get stuck in the lining and then stab my feet. But I have 2 other pairs of crocs as well, one in lavender and one that is black with Jack Skellington on it (cause I love Nightmare Before Christmas, what can I say) and I adore them so much. I want to wear them all the time. I tell him all the time that I have my socks, crocs, and docs, cause I always wear socks, love my crocs, and when we're really going out I put on my docs. I thought it rhymed and it was funny. Also, if y'all didn't know, there's a Stardew Valley board game and it is sooo cute and fun. It does take a few hours, but it's very easy to like pause the game and put it away and then put everything back how it was the next time you want to pick it up again if you take a picture of it before packing it up. You can play it on your own or with like 4 people, I think. It's legit so fun and you and everyone else can work together so it's not competitive and I think that just makes it more cozy and fun. For plushies, Bellzi also makes great ones. I have so many plushies and stuffed animals (I call them squishies) and a few of them are from that brand. They're so soft and snuggly. I got the artist of life workbook this last year and it's a great way to keep yourself on track and accountable. I do, however, have adhd, so at some point towards the end of this year I stopped doing it completely, but if you know you'll stick with it then it's a great workbook to have. I'm definitely going to be using the format again this year, but I don't think I'll buy a second one. I love that she gives you the option to have a digital version as well though.

i use a fanny pack at work (i work with dogs so it has my loop, treats, my phone, a pen, poop bags, etc.) and they’re just so convenient that i want one for everyday use that isn’t gross and dog covered lol
