I have been to Germany in 2000, Bavaria, Neuschwanstein Castle, Frankfurt, Heidelberg. Then flown to Innsbruck Austria. My memoir has my experiences in many countries my late husband worked, lived, visited.
Nature at its best... So calm and pure ..surrounded by mountains, running river, trees all over, so fresh... I just can dream of this place 😢..You guys are so lucky... Common people just respect nature and we should protect it...I promise i am going to take a step.
My memory refreshed for Germany, I visited Kaiserslautern in 2008, my hotel was traditional German house. Very nice place, German engineering, German cars, German violins, German Castles, German chocolates and German beer all are mixed enjoyed a lot about 6 months.
As i studied from Convent school, i could relate those beautiful houses with all Shakespeare's drama, those bruk and castle, beautiful houses, golden sunshine, greenery, the beautiful river.. i got down by the memory lane of my school days..

OH LORD! I'm in Africa but that nature is beyond even my home village here in Africa! Honestly, I doubt if I'd leave that beautiful place for polluted big cities! And if I had to, for instance for work purpose, then I would retire sooner and go back to there and enjoy the real beauty of the planet earth!
Lovely Village and lovely couple. I been to Darmstadt but I was not knowing that villages there are so lovely. The Indian guy is so fortunate to get lovely village girl. I like villages so much as I spent my golden child hood in my village.
Burg Castle was built around 1218 Englebert II who was from Berg built it. It is basically a fortress. It reminds of Shillong where we has plums, peaches, pears, pomegranate, lemon and oranges. We had these half timber houses where there was ekra a kind of small bamboo with plaster outside to keep the house cool in summers and warm in winter. The floor was of pine wood.
Well we obviously don't have bamboo in Germany but the concept seems to be the same. You have those huge visible wood beams creating a frame between which there is a weave of twigs who are then covered with a plaster and covered with Kalk (calcium) which gives it it's white colour and makes it water and weather resistant

Very nice village! In Cold weather countries you don’t see people walking chatting or simply sitting in the public places! They have more indoor culture and that helps to keep the country clean
That’s not the reason why it’s clean 😅 They are so conscious of keeping things clean that I’ve seen 70 year old grandmas walking around cutting away little grass from the sidewalk. Decades of education, implementation and enforcement has gone into making countries clean…
We are a very outdoor oriented people, the reason for the cleanliness is cultural as we are traditionally more oriented around the community than the individual just like e.g. the Japanese (though they are even more extreme than we are). She wasn't kidding when she said that everybody knows everything about everyone else and that includes bad behaviour. We have a traditional "surveillance" system in old grandmas sitting at windows and watching everyone. If I missbehaved on my way back from school my grandma would already have been informed before I arrived and in such close nit communities people behaving against the community and their families can end up getting "shunned" (excluded by everyone else as if they were dead), so there is both an external and internal pressure to confirm to the community's rules and customs. Towards the weather: we have 4 seasons of which only one is cold, summer is 30°C+, autumn right now is still in the 20°C and spring while being in the 10°C+ feels a lot warmer after the winter with ~-10 - +5°C. Winters are cold and dark (on the shortest day just 7,5 hours of daylight, however summers are warm and have nearly endless days (20 hours of sunlight) and we basically live in our gardens, streets, forests and at our rivers and lakes during that time.

In hot weather countries , people don’t pay attention to those as they don’t think that is a must have! Again West uses fork because to wash hands, you need warm water! North part of Asia uses sticks for this very same reason! Culture and all we know, Thames River was sewage and how filthy it used to be! I have lived in both places! India, a rich culture was invaded for many years and now getting back on feet! It is changing at very high speed!

In cold region , there are many lakes & waterfalls. But they rarely swim there because it’s too cold . That’s why water is not polluted but that’s not with tropical region. In summer we love to take bath in river for hours , diving & then playing with friends 😂
Even if the whole town plays in the water all day everyday, the water will not get polluted. It’s more because of trash and sewage being thrown into the water it gets polluted.

In cold region , there are many lakes & waterfalls. But they rarely swim there because it’s too cold . That’s why water is not polluted but that’s not with tropical region. In summer we love to take bath in river for hours , diving & then playing with friends 😂
Even if the whole town plays in the water all day everyday, the water will not get polluted. It’s more because of trash and sewage being thrown into the water it gets polluted.
I go swimming in Lake Constance 🇩🇪 from spring to autumn.
