You could always donate your unwanted / not vegan products to food banks & womens shelters. I always do that with mine, means someone can get a little treat while they're going through a tough time x
Yes! I had this thought as well. Including the products that are not cruelty free- they’ve already been manufactured so nothing is gained by discarding them.
I agree, it is odd. The more I watch Madeleine the more it sounds like she's plant based and not Vegan. I'm not slagging her off, I would rather that than the alternative but a few of her choices are questionable.
You should 100% reach out to the magazines to get copies of the ones you don't have! That's a huge accomplishment and your grandchildren would love to see those one day! ❤
Just checking in from Florida ... I was so happy to receive my copy of your book. I paged through it today and loved how simple and easy it looks to follow. The photos are beautiful. I have been a vegetarian for over 30 years...and watching you and your vlogs has inspired me to try to incorporate more vegan recipes into my world. I thank you for that and your honesty and passion as you film bits of your life. Keep a bit to yourself! And, your radio interview was wonderful. Take good care, and onward into 2024!
One of the reasons I adore this channel and relate to it so well is that Maddie is able to process nuanced and complex topics. Totally conscious of what is and not living in a dream world! ❤❤
I’m not vegan, I eat meat and dairy. However I also eat a lot of plant based meals, and only eat meat prob once or twice a week. I really enjoy your channel and you inspire me to eat and cook more plant based meals introducing me to new ingredients and techniques. The reason being you and your channel is approachable and non judgemental. I’ve stopped watching other vegan channels as all just seems too complicated and preachy. Keep being yourself. Kx ❤
Nice to see the New Year is treating you both well. Congratulations on your continuing success and much more to come! I agree with you that starting the year slow is a good idea, heck the bears are still hibernating so why are we running around like crazy? Thanks for the great video and all the good advice. I'm glad you're staying 'slow' and not pushing things... but I'm REALLY wanting to see the piano in the hallway! Lol! I will gladly be patient though! 😅
As part of your veganuary content, would it be possible to make a video on your favourite vegan substitutes please? Things like meat substitutes, cheese alternatives etc. I am in the UK so I’d find something like this really helpful to get started ☺️

And on May 1, 2021, China implemented further updates and changes to its animal testing laws. Under the new regulations, imported general cosmetics include makeup, skincare, hair care products, nail polish, and perfumes are not required to be tested on animals. She boycotts a brand by shouting on the internet “stop selling in China! So I can promote you”. I don’t think that’s the right way to do it. She makes innocent people think China’s done something terribly wrong and China doesn’t care about animal cruelty at all, which is not true! She neglected all of these positive changes China had made, and just shouted on the internet “stop selling in China”. Is China the only country in the whole world? Is China the only country that hasn’t banned animal testing? Why single out China?
I always watched your redecorating videos for fun, but now I'm going to use all the lessons I learnt to decorate my first house! Thank you for sharing your wisdom and experience with decorating!
You have just inspired me to pick up German again, in order to finally be able to converse with some of my family members! If you have any other resources to recommend, that would be lovely! And good luck this year 🎉
It's so nice to see you being on the radio, in magazines and launching make it vegan! I was a rubbish eater and cook before I went vegan and when I did go vegan (3.5 years ago) i found you shortly after ( I'm also 96nailtech) and now I eat such a big variety of foods and I'm always cooking, I love cooking and that's thanks to you and your channel! I got make it vegan on Wednesday, the book is absolutely beautiful and the recipes look insane! I can't wait to try🥰
Sometimes I think that although we feel the need to share our opinions (especially You Tubers), it's ok to keep these thoughts to ourselves. I'm a vegan and I no longer share my choices with others unless they ask. I just focus on my beliefs and stay true to them ❤️
Absolutely LOVING your cook book, so inspired by it❤️I’m non vegan & wasn’t a fan of tofu until I tried your spicy tofu nuggets with harissa yoghurt dip recipe earlier this week & OMG - it was so delicious, even convinced my husband to give them a try & we polished them off in two sittings! Thank you for inspiring us to try vegan meals with your delicious range of mouthwatering recipes 😋❤
Just watched this vlog. It's really made me feel like im not the only one that needs to reset and you have motivated me to get some resetting / decluttering done. I've been struggling to get the house in order since Christmas and also had a cold since Christmas so not got back into running twice a week at the gym. Have been doing body pump which im loving. I'm looking at January as just taking care of how i feel and not pushing myself to get back to the gym and routine that I'm craving. I'll aim for Feb to get back to normal but for now I'm taking it slowly and being kind to myself. Loved this vlog, cosy and motivating x also, i might be tempted to buy your book just for the mac n cheese 10 min recipe (although i dont have a blender) and i woukd like to try to swap some meat out for vegan options more so think i need to buy your book. A signed copy would be nice though. Can u come to Taunton waterstones 😊
Little tip for your snow fairy candle- if you pour boiling water in it and leave it until it's cooled, you can remove the remaining wax and use it in a wax burner so nothing goes to waste
January is definitely my month of decluttering going through my house even if it's just taking a couple of things out of each room to having a huge re shuffle which I plan to do my bedroom in a couple of weeks . I always follow - Sell , Donate , Bin and feel so positive once it's all done & a great mindset ☺ x
I think one of the reasons you came across so well in that radio intereview is because you clearly believe in veganism and you are so passionate about cooking and promoting healthy planthbased recipes. It felt like you could have talked for an hour and it would have been engaging the whole way through.❤
I love the reset videos. Congrats Maddie on the magazine spreads! My copy of your cookbook should be here by this next Wednesday. I cannot wait to look at all the recipes and make a plan. I enjoyed listening to your BBC call. Thank you!
Gosh, this comment section is exhausting - people have way too much time on their hands and, perhaps, not enough compassion for those behind the camera! As always, thank you for taking the time to make these videos and sharing yout honest opinions ❤
Thoughts about otherwise vegan companies that sell in China. I’m actually pretty conflicted about this because what about people who live in China? Should they not have access to products because their government decides to test them on animals? What if people are trying their best to be vegan, ethical and sustainable but they literally have no options. Anyone else have thoughts on this? I am not judging anyone’s choice to support or not support brands that sell in China btw. I can see both sides.
So cool your radio interview!! You must have been so relieved after, you did great! Your passion for vlogging really comes through the lens, enjoy your vlogs so much. ❤
There are a few dermatologists on RUclips and I've previously checked out their videos on what products to use with retinol or avoid. It's basically avoid use of actives or exfoliating on the same night.
Oh Maddie, you opened up a can of worms, very touchy subject for some obviously and I do take my hat off to you cos you are doing more for promoting Veganism than a lot of us, so please don’t take these harsh words personally and keep on doing what you are doing well, best wishes & hugs
It’s the internet unfortunately people want everyone to fit very nicely and neatly into a black and white box. Grey areas aren’t allowed! Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Watching you organize was so satisfying. Your radio interview was so good. Enjoyed listening to you speak. Thanks for sharing with us! btw is there a recipe for Alex's homemade bread?
Hi Maddie ❤ I found your channel couple of months ago. Im 66 and non vegan, but you are so inspiring. I love all tour videos I even bought your book . Keep going, let nothing stop your dreams just go Slow. Love Charlie xx🪩❤️❤️
I have a lovely story about the Tisserand brand you mention. The creator, Robert Tisserand, was abundantly kind to me when I was a young mother. I don't want to give details as I don't have his permission to relate them, but he was very generous and kind with his time and intelligence when he didn't have to be. I would recommend his products to anyone based just on how he treated me, a stranger. Thanks!
I’m gonna skip this video after reading the comments, was looking forward to watching this whilst on my exercise bike, I love a clear out. I try and keep my head out of any stress or negative stuff, that’s why I left Facebook, just want to watch nice videos not hear any understanding of animal farmers in anyway. I’m in Wales surrounded by animal farmers who “love their animals” have a good day all x
Um, so not me 🤷♀️ 😂 I’m vegan because I don’t believe in killing / harming animals for food. Even if it’s a small, personal, local, traditional farm. Even if we got rid of factory farming I would be just as against it. For me it’s a “what” as much as a “way. “ But I’m no more angry at husbandry farmers then I am at people who buy and eat meat/ meat products. 🤷♀️ It’s the same? Yes, if farmers didn’t sell meat a lot of people wouldn’t eat it. But if nobody bought or ate it, most farmers would be forced to stop selling. Very chicken and egg. But I can’t believe someone loves their animal and then kills them for food. That’s just not my definition of love. I DO believe some farmers care about their animals and use them for dairy and eggs. That they haven’t had the eureka moment where they see it from a different perspective and decide how unkind it is. I think that’s like dog collars around the necks of dogs. Nobody thought too hard about how mean that might be until more and more people pointed it out. Especially if you are raised with it as “normal”. It’s why I was vegetarian instead of vegan for a decade. I thought it was okay to eat milk and eggs as long as it wasn’t from factory farms (until someone said something that changed my mind and sent me down a research rabbit hole). Now I don’t believe it’s okay no matter what. But I can appreciate some rescued chickens in the backyard is better then buying at the store from a large company. So I couldn’t be judgmental of others without being a hypocrite. But that doesn’t mean I agree with them. 🤷♀️👍❤️
Who doesn't love a good old de clutter. Especially when you have 2 daughters 9 and 4. I feel like I'm forever, following them around just trying to catch the mess 😂.
Im a vegan that doesnt hate animal farmers, but i certainly don't respect what they do 🤨. I have cattle farmers and dog breeders (that tail dock etc) in my family, and they say they love their animals, but how is that love? They view them 1st and foremost as commodities. Wld anyone euthanize their beloved cat or dog (or human for that matter) in the same "humane" manner to which farmers do to the animals they slaughter? Im def not an apologetic vegan, or a militant one, but im tired of the "to each their own" attitude, esp when the vegan person has something to gain by making themselves small. I will never tell a non vegan that I respect their actions towards harming animals. I respect them as a fellow being, and dont berate them, but when they bring it up, they want me to pacify them, and i will not. It is not my mission to make them comfortable with their choices.
There are certain regulations in china that mean specific products are required to be tested on animals by law. The laws have been relaxed since 2021, but if you look at cruelty free kitty websites it gives a breakdown for each brand and if they’re cruelty free!
This comment section is an absolute state... We don't live in a black and white world and just because you don't agree with other people's opinions doesn't mean it's okay to attack them. It's okay to disagree, and leave it at that. I'm a vegan, I wear leather shoes, have leather bags etc that I had from pre-vegan life, or because they're the best option in terms of sustainable use long term instead of buying a synthetic, plastic alternative that will need to be replaced continuously. This is a basic skill of critical analysis of looking at the options, analysing what is the best option in terms of your priorities and then following it through. One choice isn't the correct choice, they're all valid. If you don't agree at least take the time to hear what informed that decision making process, at least then you're broadening your world view and getting out of your echo chamber and hearing more of what others have to offer. It makes your life far richer, and you happier over time. We do not live in a perfect world, it's about doing your best.
What a gorgeous interview!! Love how joyful and passionate you are about cooking vegan food and it so clearly came across in your interview answers (even just from listening to your voice/ without seeing you smiling!). It’s such a joy to watch your channel and your honesty and you are clearly having such a huge positive impact on the world with your content and your book and making eating more plants/ cooking vegan recipes so fun and accessible for everyone - meat eaters and veggie/vegans alike!! You have for sure had a positive impact on me & your videos always make my morning/ lunchtime :) so calming and relaxing. And Alex is hilarious - my partner has a similar dry humour and Alex’s jokes/ comments literally make me laugh out loud 🤣 Thank you for sharing with us ❤️
I have a question. I am genuinely curious. Why is it a negative thing for a brand to sell their products in China? I understand that if a product is produced in China, there could potentially be some inhuman practices involved because unfortunately the laws don't prevent animal cruelty over there. But what's wrong with a brand selling in China? We don't choose where we are born and just because someone is living in China doesn't mean they agree with animal cruelty. Living in a democratic society is a privilege most people in the world don't have.
Because the brand is opting in to their products potentially being tested on animals. This has nothing to do with China as a place and its people, rather their animal testing regulations and laws. I personally have a choice to boycott animal testing so I do so.
She PERSONALLY boycotts a brand by shouting on the internet “stop selling in China! So I can promote you”. I don’t think that’s the right way to do it. She makes innocent people like you think China’s done something terribly wrong and China doesn’t care about animal cruelty at all, which is not true! It's not easy to understand the seemingly contradictory relationship between small farmer and livestock until you live in a farming community. Just wanted you to know I agree with your comments although I don't mean to challenge the beliefs of some of the other commenters.
We have made two recipes from the cookbook and LOVED them!!! Also don’t listen to the annoying vegan police. You’re my favorite vegan influencer, I love you content and your practical/realistic takes on veganism. I’ve been vegan for 5.5 years and some of my hot takes include that anything by nestle that’s labeled vegan is NOT vegan (how is it vegan to have child slaves pick chocolate) and that in my opinion, I don’t have an issue with ethical hunting. I’m my area deer are overpopulated and damage the ecosystem and sometimes pass away from lack of food. Although I wouldn’t do it myself (of course), ethical hunting is much much better for the animal than factory farming and can help the environment as well. Keep up what you’re doing!!!!
We’re all entitled to our opinions, but that is all they are, “our opinions”. It’s unfortunate that because Madeline or any RUclipsr puts contents out, we feel the need to criticize. If you disagree, that is your choice, but please out of kindness don’t broadcast it. Treat others how you would want to be treated. (Matthew 7:12) Madeline, keep up the good work and stay healthy and happy 😃 Cheers from Ohio
It seems like we’re all entitled to our opinions All except the animals who have no say in the matter whatsoever. Matthew can quote all he likes but subscribers fund the ‘privileged’ lifestyle of influencers.
Hi Madeleine, I don't hate farmers but they definitely don't care about the animals. You can't care about something and at the same time send it off to be slaughtered.
I think it’s complex. Many farmers are born into their careers and it’s all they know. It’s their family history. And I’ve witnessed personally them caring deeply for their animals like they would their pets. I don’t agree with animals being sent for slaughter, hence why I’m vegan and campaign for it, but I think many farmers care deeply.
@@MadeleineOlivia I understand that the farmers are born into it and it's probably difficult to choose a different way of life but we still shouldn't say they care about animals. It was the same for me before I went vegan. I thought I was an animal lover, but then I realised that I can't love and care about animals and eat them at the same time.
I agree. And @MadeleineOlivia if you care for animals, you don't kill them. It is not Black and white, it is reality. Everyone can grow food insted. And learn New skills.... I am not good in English, so I'll stop here.
I unfortunately live surrounded by farmers who abuse the land they are custodians of, neglect the animals in their care , trap and shoot and receive subsidies and grants from the government to do all of this. I love living in the countryside but this side of it is hard to take. So I don’t like farmers. We need arable farmers not animal farmers.
Can we all please be civil? It's hard enough as it is! Madeleine does an incredible job of advocating for veganism, low impact solutions and healthier living whilst constantly showing her personal life online. How would you feel to be challenged in comments every time you post? Would you comment on something you disagree with in real life? Probably not. It baffles me that viewers think that good content is content that they must 10000% agree with at all times. The world is not a Manichean one, there are many perspectives out there, one is not necessarily right or wrong: IT'S TRICKY!!
I saw your latest TikTok post and your comments underneath and I'm genuinely disappointed in how you paint the/your vegan community in such a bad light! You said that you were berated and recieved tons of h @ t e comments under this video for supposedly not being a perfect vegan, because you - unlike those who critized your comments - don't hate farmers? And everyone who dared to critizise you are everything what's wrong with the vegan community? I'm sorry, but I can't with this fake outrage and inability to differentiate between fair criticism and real h @ t e, so I'll be unsubscribing.
Feel free to! But I receive criticism and hate constantly. I have been online for 8 years and it is never ending. I am damned if I do and damned if I don’t. So unless you’ve experienced that then you probably won’t understand where I am coming from
@@MadeleineOlivia Maddie, you SPECIFICALLY mentioned THIS video and called out people who were respectfully disagreeing with you on your stance on small-scale animal farmers under THIS video. I don't question that you recieve distasteful, even horrible, comments in general. Everyone on the internet does. And I acknowledge that content creators are even more at risk for that. But I think it's important to be truthful and not create fake outrage and drama. That's also what's dividing the vegan community, IMO. And I honestly didn't expect this of you.
I’m not faking outrage or drama? I received hateful comments and messages because of what I said in this video. You won’t fully grasp the scale of hatred I receive. It has caused severe mental health disorders and thousands of pounds in therapy. It has made me depressed. So this specific issue is extremely triggering and difficult for me.
@@MadeleineOlivia Again, I'm referring to your TikTok post, which mentioned this video and comment section specifically. But you're right, I'm not you, so I don't know what comments/messages you recieve every day and how that has an impact on your life. I'm genuinely sorry that this has caused you so much emotional pain!
I'm really struggling with the idea that you even keep non-cruelty free products let alone use them.... on top of wearing a leather jacket, vintage or not it was once an animal!!!! Bury your jacket in your garden and bin, call out and reject all non-cruelty free products!!! Vegan???
@@MadeleineOlivia with Veganism comes activism and not calling out non-cruelty free products is not active it's passive. Return and reject those non-cruelty free products to the companies that sent them and explain it's not cool. There are sooo many things that you do that I applaud and I really wish you well and I know that your intentions are great. I am a long term follower and this is the first time I felt compelled to comment.
IMHO…Please don’t criticize Maddie because she hasn’t met your personal requirements. Motives are the important thing. No one is so-called “perfect” in the beginning, and at all stages of our lives, we are free to encourage, promote, recommend , educate, explain, and state our preferences at all times…I personally just LOVE all of these videos. I feel accepted by Maddie and Alex without being required to be completely perfect in my attempts to be vegan..👏👏👏👏💕💕💕💕
@@bonnieolson80NOT using non-cruelty free skin care/cosmetics is MOST vegetarian/vegans baseline.... I have also said I applaud Maddie for sooo many other things.
@@MadeleineOlivia you Said, if I remember right, that smal scale farners love and care for the animals. I don't understand how anybody who love and care for animals can slaughtring them. This animals live some week to 1 year, å pig can live at lesast 12 years. I got vegeterian becouse of this things. And I don't know many vegans who agree with you on this. I like farmers who grow food. We all eat we need farmers, but not animalfarmers. I like your videos, but I don't agree whit you in this.
It’s weird that small scale farmers say they love their animals and treat them like family then slaughter them or send them to the same slaughterhouse that factory farmed animals are forced into. Less suffering during their lives does not make it much better and most people can’t afford to eat “humane meat” and there isn’t enough land for everyone to eat free range
At 18:00, what’s your problem with China? Do you hate China? If yes, you better check your other stuff as well! Jokes on you, afa I know REN and Paula’s choice are selling their products in China as well. And please stop using Chinese brand soy sauce (I saw it in one of your videos). Please stop eating tofu as people from the country you hate invented it. Oh, and IKEA wardrobe, I am pretty sure there are many IKEA stores in China, you better throw that away as well.
She never mentioned hating China? She wants Origins to stop selling their products there because many brands (that are cruelty free in other parts in the World) that sell in China it is a prerequisite to have products tested on animals (not vegan) so they can sell there. China is a huge market and brands sell out their otherwise cruelty free image to make money.
Wow calm down 😂 the problem with China is they still allow ALL products to be tested on animals and also all products that want to be sold in China have always had to agree to test on animals which is only starting to change very recently. THAT’S what’s wrong with China 🤦🏻♀️

I came here to say this! :)
Yes! I had this thought as well. Including the products that are not cruelty free- they’ve already been manufactured so nothing is gained by discarding them.
It's odd to me that someone doesn't seem to go to this idea first as it's the kindest and most sustainable
I agree, it is odd. The more I watch Madeleine the more it sounds like she's plant based and not Vegan. I'm not slagging her off, I would rather that than the alternative but a few of her choices are questionable.

Great tip thank you!
Thank you! I will try that too :-)
January is definitely my month of decluttering going through my house even if it's just taking a couple of things out of each room to having a huge re shuffle which I plan to do my bedroom in a couple of weeks . I always follow - Sell , Donate , Bin and feel so positive once it's all done & a great mindset ☺ x
I have a Freddie’s Flowers subscription and they are always so lovely. They last a good month too.❤
Oh well done, Maddie, you did great in the radio interview. Always enjoy your vlog. Regards from Cape Town
Hello from California - Your cookbook arrived today from Amazon and it is beautiful Madeleine! Loving it! 😍
I think one of the reasons you came across so well in that radio intereview is because you clearly believe in veganism and you are so passionate about cooking and promoting healthy planthbased recipes. It felt like you could have talked for an hour and it would have been engaging the whole way through.❤
That’s so kind of you thank you so much ❤️
My cookbook from Amazon arrived yesterday! 🎉Love it! Thank you! I feel like i know the author ❤️
I love the reset videos. Congrats Maddie on the magazine spreads! My copy of your cookbook should be here by this next Wednesday. I cannot wait to look at all the recipes and make a plan. I enjoyed listening to your BBC call. Thank you!
I really enjoy watching your videos! Well done on your interview
Gosh, this comment section is exhausting - people have way too much time on their hands and, perhaps, not enough compassion for those behind the camera! As always, thank you for taking the time to make these videos and sharing yout honest opinions ❤
Your cookbook came! Wow, your book is the MOST beautiful and useful cookbook I have ever owned. Thank you so much!!! 💗
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
The white flowers are chrysanthemums, love them in bouquets since they last so long:).
I received my cookbook yesterday! So excited to try some good vegan meals.
I hope you enjoy them!
Have bought your cook book.......I love it.😍
Watching you organize was so satisfying. Your radio interview was so good. Enjoyed listening to you speak. Thanks for sharing with us! btw is there a recipe for Alex's homemade bread?
In my cookbook yeah!
Thank you!!
Happy Belated Birthday from your birthday twin!!! ❤
Loving reading your book. Congratulations 🎉
Hi Maddie ❤ I found your channel couple of months ago. Im 66 and non vegan, but you are so inspiring. I love all tour videos I even bought your book . Keep going, let nothing stop your dreams just go Slow. Love Charlie xx🪩❤️❤️
Love your videos. In the bathroom I think you need to hang one of your pieces of art in the while wall space you have 😊
I have a lovely story about the Tisserand brand you mention. Thanks!
I'm not vegan but I love your channel. I got all your ebooks and regular books and it's because of you that I cook more plant based meals and food.
Don’t be deterred by the comments, they are taking what I said in the video and twisting it to something black and white :)
Most of the video wasn't even about that
Watch the video, it’s great, it’s the comments that were not so nice and judgemental.
I've just realised that instead of your 13 bottles of face toiletries I use a bar of soap and a Lush face cream 😂
If it works for you that’s fab!
I notice the same: I am more nervous now than I was when I was in my 20s 😂
Yesterday I cleaned out some old clothes in my wardrobe. I was able to donate 6 large garbage bags of clothes to a charity.
Um, so not me 🤷♀️ 😂
I’m vegan because I don’t believe in killing / harming animals for food. Even if it’s a small, personal, local, traditional farm. Even if we got rid of factory farming I would be just as against it. For me it’s a “what” as much as a “way. “
But I’m no more angry at husbandry farmers then I am at people who buy and eat meat/ meat products.
Nails the radio interview, lists a dozen magazines she is in, inspires me to eat more plants... 😊
Maddy for flower arranging get the book.....field flower vase by Chelsea Fuss
Oooh thank you so much for the recommendation!
Madeleine a womans refuge would be a good place to donate your cosmetics etc i am sure
they would be grateful x
Who doesn't love a good old de clutter. Especially when you have 2 daughters 9 and 4. I feel like I'm forever, following them around just trying to catch the mess 😂.
Really super interview Maddie.Alex is nice to you.Lovy doves.🎉😀
Please to do more self care video ❤🎉
I just uploaded a new one!
@@MadeleineOlivia awesome ❤️
Awesome I'm going to watch that one too ❤️
Im a vegan that doesnt hate animal farmers, but i certainly don't respect what they do 🤨.
Hi Maddie, I didn't realise about the China thing. Why shouldn't we sell to China? Jayne
Found your book in my local Waterstones in Liverpool the other day and did a little yay for you 😌
That’s so cool!
I had to skip through the radio interview my anxiety couldn't take it watching you 😅
You debated a farmer?!?!? I want hear the debate!!
And Alex is hilarious - my partner has a similar dry humour and Alex’s jokes/ comments literally make me laugh out loud 🤣 Thank you for sharing with us ❤️
Thank you, I didn't realise that
Maddie we really enjoyed this video. Well done on the radio interview.👍👍♥️
Thank you!
Alex is so Funny love!!! 😂
I love your Mac and cheese!
i was so nervous with you when you were waiting for the interview phone call hahaha
Haha secondhand nervousness
Why does a brand selling product in China mean it isn’t cruelty free?
I'm so jealous of your bath routine, I could never use products in the bath, does give me uti's😢
donate to womens shelters!
Thank you for your clarification. I appreciate it.
She PERSONALLY boycotts a brand by shouting on the internet “stop selling in China! So I can promote you”. I don’t think that’s the right way to do it. She makes innocent people like you think China’s done something terribly wrong and China doesn’t care about animal cruelty at all, which is not true! The truth is China has taken positive steps towards becoming cruelty-free. Since 2014, all the domestic cosmetics are not required to be tested on animals anymore. And on May 1, 2021, China implemented further updates and changes to its animal testing laws. Under the new regulations, imported general cosmetics include makeup, skincare, hair care products, nail polish, and perfumes are not required to be tested on animals. Also there are other ways to avoid animal testing if they want to sell their products in China. Are foreign cosmetics manufactured in China required to be tested on animals? NO! if a cosmetic company only sell online to China, are they required to test on animals? NO! She neglected all of these positive changes China had made, and just shouted on the internet “stop selling in China”. Is China the only country in the whole world? Is China the only country that hasn’t banned animal testing? Why single out China? She said this has nothing to with its people, but she’s really hurt its people.
Thank you. It’s interesting to learn that China is attempting to end cruelty to animals as the US is doing the same.♥️
It's not easy to understand the seemingly contradictory relationship between small farmer and livestock until you live in a farming community. Just wanted you to know I agree with your comments although I don't mean to challenge the beliefs of some of the other commenters.
Thank you for understanding!
china hasn't required animal testing for a year.
What have you said at 18:00???What’s wrong with Origins selling their products in China???
We’re all entitled to our opinions, but that is all they are, “our opinions”. It’s unfortunate that because Madeline or any RUclipsr puts contents out, we feel the need to criticize. If you disagree, that is your choice, but please out of kindness don’t broadcast it. Treat others how you would want to be treated. (Matthew 7:12)
Madeline, keep up the good work and stay healthy and happy 😃 Cheers from Ohio
Thank you! The internet is a place that doesn’t welcome alternate opinions sadly and wants you to fit into a box!
It seems like we’re all entitled to our opinions
All except the animals who have no say in the matter whatsoever.
Matthew can quote all he likes but subscribers fund the ‘privileged’ lifestyle of influencers.
I think you should divert your energy away from a literal vegan channel
I agree and this is why I've been vegan for 10 years but I also don't subscribe to black and white thinking
I would definitely comment irl if someone was promoting betterhelp, which is a very problematic company and has harmed many ppl
Vegan???
Please unsubscribe if I’m not vegan enough 🙏🏻
So slaughtering animals on a small scale, if the farmer “cares” for them, is okay? I do not think a lot of vegans would agree with you.
This isn’t what I said at all :)
Jesus this is not what she said at all !
@@susie5668 please explain Susie because I’m lost
As the above have said the reason I boycott brands that sell in china is because they are required to be tested on animals
@@catrobinson6282 The animal testing policy was canceled in 2021!
The laws have been relaxed, but it still requires animal testing for certain kinds of products
