      Just found your channel about a week ago via your 4:3 video as I was researching about 4:3 for experimentation purposes. And since then I've been catching up on your videos in between work.
      Also finally gotten out of runt that I didn't know how to get out of because of your videos. Now I wish I had enough time and hands because I don't know how I'm going into keep up with all the ideas I have for filming.
      The way I see your work my friend is that it gets better as you produce, as it's not easy to produce high quality work (which is expected).
      I say take your time and as a newer viewer, I appreciate your work, now and in the future. You've inspired me and I'm sure others who've watched your videos.

    You got some really amazing shots! The L1 reminds me of the look I get with my copy of the Jupiter-9 85mm. And at the price tag of the tuners I think I’d prefer to build a little Soviet lens set before going in on something like this. Thanks for another great video!

    I remember seeing these when they first launched. Honestly I want to love them it’s super close, however the thing that kills me the most is the fall off around the hair. It’s very similar to the older “cine” mode on iPhones. It creates a blur around the /head hair or high contrast areas that is just off-putting. On that note I still appreciate you bringing out this video and 100% agree with what you have to say at the end.

    Gotta say YOUR shots convince me a LOT more than the example shots that Moment had shown in their demo videos for all 3 types of this Tuner. You did it right by using a nice 4:3 aspect ratio for this. This works fundamentally better than always only using 16:9 and it looks a lot more like vintage film recordings. Now add some filmgrain and a bit of Halation glow fuzziness and you could really fool people that this was shot on 16mm or 35mm Cine Film. 😉👍

    Wow! It's interesting how I'm just learning/coming across the fact that lens accessories like these exist. They sure make the shots look good. I mean your composition/cinematography looks great but the attachments sure adds some sauce. I do feel the L1 is a bit too exaggerated though, quite aggressive chromatic aberration/halation/softness towards edges of the frame and around subject in focus. The L2 is well balanced between lens character and shot details. I couldn't afford any of them anyway but the L2 is definitely something I'd use as an Indie if I could afford it. And man, your color grading is excellent. Every shot looks great. As someone who's something of a color/look enthusiast myself, your final visuals are incredibly beautiful. Well done man, great content.

    As you said, I would want to dismiss this product as a Gimmick but , it just goes to show the value of Research!
    Also, I agree that I would probably consider this product once I had a set of lenses and -realistically- didn’t need another lens but could justify the cost on the basis that it could seriously enhance your lens set!

    • @elverdaderojavier
      @elverdaderojavier 9 месяцев назад +1

      At first I thought the price was too high, but to me it's kind of doing what a full set of diffusion filters would do. A full set of Soft FX in all the strengths would cost over $2500 if you're buying 82mm sizes or bigger. The flip side to that is if you live in a city you can rent a full set of filters for like $20.
