Well damn... Last night I was playing and felt pretty satisfied with my castle build when I got off, now I feel like all I did was put some duct tape around the edges of a cardboard box...

Is there a way to have unlimited materials??
+VRage011 if your on pc just bring up the console and type "tgm" (toggle God mode) on console not really till mods come out but you can so cap glitches to buy the material.
+VRage011 supply routes between camps makes it easier to stock up on supplies. Some settlements have lots of material that you can access from your main settlement by sending a dude there.
you can mark it and objects with ur material will have a magnifying glass on it

Get the mod Better Stores : it also adds neon signs (under Decoration), including a cross sign - and a reversed one. Get it man and make that superb settlement even better ! ;-)

What a wonderful settlement!!! It is so welcoming and I love how you've concentrated on making your settlers happy and very comfortable. It is the most cozy and people friendly of any settlements I've seen - and believe me I've seen scores of them!! The use of plants is a super touch and adds so much to the over-all feel of the Castle. I also like the usage of numerous guard outposts, side by side, forming a semi-circle. It makes a lot of sense! Everything is so well thought out and it is apparent that you've put a lot of time and effort into this terrific rendering. You should be very proud of yourself!! :-)

You sir deserve a slow clap. That is a very nicely made fort right there. Only thing I would have to say to change next time you do another video was going through the second hallway of bedroom and opening every door, is to maybe open one to three of the door. Just so we get the idea that the whole hallway is bedrooms. Just my thought on that matter but besides that, it is a very nice fort you made there. Hopefully I can make one just as good as yours.

Really nice build! Great attention to detail. You really should look at the convenient stores mod so you can have your vendors work regular cash registers that you place anywhere so you dont need the big wood booths to have a vendor. Amazing though, I was avoiding building up the castle, now you've inspired me!

In terms of mods, you forgot to mention the weapons rack and unlimited building space. The last time I checked, they are not included in homemaker.
I didn't use a mod for unlimited build space used the glitch and thought I put the racks mod in I'll update it. thanks

This is really cool, I noticed that you had some mods on, but noticed that you used the shack foundation as a wall patch, so I thought I'd let you know about a mod that allows you to remove rubble and make new walls.

Where the generator room is the rubble can get destroyed in workshop mode and leads to the basement
the generator rooms are behind a door past the mini bar to the left and one outside by the water purifier.
That looks great, gave me some ideas for my own builds. Quite a few things I didn't think of yet

out of all possible things i wished someone would make a mod for is
1. a armory chest that settlers can roam through and grab equipment and suit up better for battle
and
2. a hud that shows the total of each resource you posses so i can see if i need to crab something like copper or screws.
there is a lot of mods that need to be made
Settlers can actually pick up weapons and stuff if they've been dropped. They can also enter power armours.

Settlement is great, but the non-stop jerky movement and sporadic tearing is motion sickness inducing. Still worth a like for the great settlement.

That would send me straight to the porcelain bus ;) I even disable motion blur and turn down headbob in the (PC) ini files to a very low level. It gets worse every time I get a bigger monitor so I stopped doing that.

man even with the limit removal mod for settlements being active on console, you'd still have so much to process that your FPS would be 000.00 before half the building was done. I wish they had done the 60 FPS on the game on the original game rather than only 30 FPS. Would have been so much nicer.
WP ScorpionWind yeah my fps on the final version of this was low somewhere in the 20s sometimes. Plus now my game is broken and got low fps all the time.
SuperbLegend Ya and that's what I figure would be the case. And noting that this is probably PC that would mean that consoles would be screwed 100% regardless of anything one might try.
yeah this is on pc but I've seen some huge builds on console plus i was running a lot of graphics mods in this video.

+Jared Witt yeah those are from a mod but the new workshop dlc has a dirt planter and thanks spent a good amount of them on this I have an updated one but I used God mode for the resources.

Really great work, what saddens me is that the rooms are empty and not so much activities. Wish there would be like quests appearing from npc that move in. or like be able to brawl with some npcs on the boxing ring. Or be able to play pool. Would be cool if something could be implemented like casino from Fallout: New Vegas. Probably when Geck comes out though.
Like honestly there is not much reason to stay in the settlement except for picking up weapons and gear right? Or hear about Prestons next quest :P

How's the settler path finding? My perfectionist attitude won't tolerate settlers walking into walls so I'm keeping my settlement simple but I want to expand.
I don't see then walking into walls but they are pretty dumb
