I think the hilt on the xeno x3 is the best. But the colors and brightness on the Snv4 and then also allowing you to use a app Is amazing.

Thanks for the review Jon, great as always! I still understand that there is still no ideal Darksaber for my requests, I hope someday I will implement my own dark sword project that you also will review on your channel.
Great comparison, I know which one I would go for lol. The Xeno 3 just seems to be a much more rounded package to me. The SN4 feels a bit like a poor relative at this point. I am a bit biased being a Nexus collector really but the Xeno Configurator seems a lot more useable because of the live updating. I also understand that the SNv4 app has different functionality on iOS devices and Android devices where as the Xeno Configurator is pretty much the same app on both platforms. For the button bleep you are looking for the line countdown=1 (1=0n 0=off). Worth digging into the config file as there are a host of other new functions that are turned off by default on the Xeno3😉
Really great comparison! I'm wondering if the blades were all compatible with each other like a normal neopixel blade, if the white would be the same across all three boards, if it the board has a noticeable effect on the color.

I found it, it's the same one you listed, I typed it wrong at first! 😅😅 And also, the darksaber I recently bought from Artsabers is actually a Proffie one, not SNv4 that I thought! 😅 I'm doing real good tonight! 😂 Love all of your reviews and neat toys!! Snv4 as people need to remember when swinging, it looks solid
I just got an SNV4 today, and the accent swings are definitely there. I think the Xeno3 does sound better in how it plays the files, but you just have to find a soundfont with very obvious accent swings and they should be pretty apparent. Not quite perfect, but they do work.
I just put up a vid, don't have to watch it all, I used an annoying spongebob font at the beginning which makes it pretty clear, at least to me.
Did a Mega Man font that made it easy for me to tell because it only has one smoothswing pair and all the other sounds were the accent swings. I can also hear them easily enough in greyscale stuff that I like and am familiar with.
Kept hearing people saying they can't tell but for me it's super obvious, I dunno. 🤷♂
So the sound and effects board wouldn't mess with color besides telling the led diode in the blade what color it should be. Led's vary greatly in color temp.
Hey brother. Grateful for the comparison, as I'm in the process of making a decision on my first neopixel. I'm very new to all of this since I've ever only bought a cheap baselit saber, and am on a budget. Would you personally get a TXQ SN V4 Pro or a Xeno v3? The Xeno would be from Darkwolf Sabers, and I'm looking on CCSabers for a TXQ SN
Both are great and you will be happy with ether decision. The tech has been updating and changing pretty fast so what’s good today maybe be out done tomorrow. At this moment in time I like what the SNv4 pro is offering but that just dropped. Xeno v3 just updated their app and looks like a lot may be coming. I like the over all sound quality of the SNv4 pro tho.
Out of the 3 which one would choose?
For Christmas this year (2023), I got a Disney Store version of the *_#Darksaber_**_,_* and as much as I love & appreciate the present (and will, of course, get _loads_ of "play" time with it), my dream is to one day be able to afford to buy myself a *Xeno V3* (in fact, in an ideal world, I’d love to be able to afford one of every _Legends/Legacy _*_#Lightsaber_* that’s available in Xv3)! 🥰❤️🥰❤️
Well I own two lightsabers one with the xeno 3 and the other SN v4.. I definitely pay around with both app.. they are a few differences xeno 3 app have the percentage of the battery on the app and you can control the brightness..now on SN v4 has way much more. I customization on the lightsaber.. and once you open the app, it automatically connects to your lightsaber.. compared to the xeno v3 it does not connect automatically and it definitely has Bluetooth connection problems. Probably in the future update that get resolved.. and one more thing the SN v4 Way much easier to put sound front pretty much drug and pace

Question I’ve been watching you for a bit now and was wondering as I just purchased a saber from Vader sabers and was wondering cause I can’t find it anywhere but how long does it take for them to arrive? I’m not asking for specifics more of a estimate. If anyone knows please lmk

Thank you for the comparison! Didn't know the rest the Darksaber blades had an issue with the difusion.
Additional info: SN V4's V2 managed to cover with white diffusion material to make the pixel strip to invisible within 99.9%.
Yeah I hear a few good update on the snv4 I’ll have to see if I can get one for review
You can absolutely add beeps to Xeno 3. @paulsstuff1969 knows how to do it
