Have you taken the IELTS test before and why did you have to take it, to move or to study abroad? Let me know in the comments and I'll write back to you! 😁
Yeah in December I sat on the IELTS exam for the first time and when I have received my results they weren't as good as I have expected therefore I am repreparing now. Btw I am 13 and my scores were ( L. 7.5. R. 6.0. W. 6.5. S. 6.0)
@@InstantEnglishUK did they know it was a test or just thought it was an interviews because if they did they would try to use difficult vocabulary like the actual people doing the test
@@InstantEnglishUKAre you even a native English speaker? Because if not, I dont think you're in a position to say that. All of these people demonstrated perfectly fine English. They could have used more advanced vocabulary, but it's just a causual conversation so they don't really need to. It doesn't mean they don't know those words.
I took the IELTS exam for uni and I got 9 in listening and reading, 7 in writing and 6 in speaking 😂 But I guess I would get similar marks on my own native language test. I've never been a good storyteller and am often wondering how people can keep talking so effortlessly.
It's always interesting to listen to the real native speakers' conversations on given topics. I took quite a few times ielts exam for academic and work purposes and I was getting scores from 7-7.5-8 in speaking and writing, to 9 in listening and reading parts. I also took pte academic at the same time and the results were very interesting, opposite to ielts in speaking and reading parts. I got 90 in speaking, 85 in listening, 78 in reading and 73 in writing. Everything is relative ... there is no any permanent measurement of knowledge in a given moment.
@@InstantEnglishUK At first, I took ielts test for studying abroad, and later I was taking it for keeping in shape my knowledge of English, but last time I took it for migration purpose.
I have taken IELTS 5 times in my life, the best result is Band 8.0. In my opinion IELTS is not about testing your English, it is more about testing your ability to take IELTS.

Native speakers of English living in England are able to speak their formal language well. I am not surprised. However, if you speak Standard Indonesians to Indonesian people, well...most of them will not be able to answer you in Indonesian well. They will answer you in Jakartan dialect. Here, in this country, people are not educated to love their national language. They think Standard Indonesian is a posh language and they do not feel comfortable speaking it. As a result, they are not accustomed to speaking it and get bad scores at speaking test. However, when Malaysians say that Standard Indonesian belongs to them, Indonesians will get very angry. So, English people are better. They love English and they do not answer in local dialects.
That's interesting, most of them don't need rehearsals to get good scores, but I wonder what if you put the native speakers for a reading test and limit them an hour to complete, I am curious to know can they achieve😊 the academic one
“Bart sis embarrassing” “Lactating pirate ship” “Lactates in person” “That is a pirate ship” “Lactating mercy” I heard more things but I’m too lazy to put them
