@@mjpusa you cant expect two songs older than 10 years to still be in the charts, lol. Wish You Were Here is literally her fourth most watched music video and also top ten on Spotify, thats a hit. Both end Bois Lie, LIWYHM and Im a Mess with ease anytime. Dont disrespect them.

I've got mixed feelings about this release. I like that the booklet has the lyrics; this is kind of rare in compilations. But the song selection left me disappointed. Where are "Let Me Go" and "Wish You Were Here"? Why songs like "Alice" and "Knocking On Heaven's Door", that never made into any studio album, were not included? And why there is not even one brand new song, even if it was from the vault? I mean, for her first Greatest Hits album, I think it should have been bigger than that. It seems to me like an album she released only to fulfill contractual obligations.
You can get "Alice" and "Hello Kitty" on the Japanese version of the album. I agree with you on the fact that I was also expecting one or two new songs..
Not even contractual obligations this “release” is tied to a “Greatest Hits” tour. It seems her label realized she can still fill small venues and decided it was more profitable to send her on tour than recording a new album (which won’t do well anyway)

This is a compilation bringing together Avril Lavigne's successes, some of which have been released only digitally and are available today on CD format.
releasing such a compilation of the greatest hits without at least one premiere single makes no sense. it won't sell. another ill-considered move from Lavigne.
