Would love an update on your bag! My mom had a really negative experience with her Teddy Blake bag, which was almost $500. Beautiful at first but proved to be no better than something you’d get for $29.99 at TJ Maxx (broken zipper pull, tarnished hardware, etc). Such a shame.

Oh interesting! I've partnered with Lilysilk and I genuinely love their stuff, I would love to partner with them again if they asked. If I don't like a product, I prefer to not say anything at all, but sometimes you can't do that depending on the contract. 🤷🏻♀️
A few years ago I read a article like this one so when I go shopping I always check the quality. I’m cheap lol but I found two handbags at Target for $40 they are good quality although not leather. They are beautiful pieces. I also have a used Dooney & Bourke my daughter gave me and I love this purse. (She paid over $500) That’s a trip to Florida for me.😀

Updated comment: i received mine in nude pink, thankfully mine has no loose stitches at all and everything looks perfect. Guess teddy blake started really checking their bags. Its gorgeous, but i also have a YSL sunset in mock crock coming today that i paid substantially more for 2500 can't wait to compare them.

I have used it very little since I received it, but I'm anticipating using it more now that it's Fall, so I'll know better how it holds up in a few months. I can't say with certainty if the brand has a quality issue, or if I just got a bad batch (the brand said this was the case) because I don't own any other TB bags. Sorry I can't be more helpful!
Got the same bag... in fuchsia croc, lined in suede. It. Is. SUMPTUOUS! I also have a pebble leather 11" Kim in coming, in mint. It pictures, it looks like aqua (my fav color), so I hope aqua is what I get.

Don’t forget to check out the zippers!! This is useful for any & everything with a zipper. Does it open & close easily? If it’s catching, it’s cheaply made. This means it’ll be annoying to use (😋), & it’ll break easily.
Great video and information! I'm considering a Teddy Blake bag. I hope they would take that bag back and have it restitched or give you a new one. Even if/especially if it was gifted! I wouldn't feel good about carrying the bag and would feel it wasn't worth my money. Great review and lessons!
GIIIIRRRLL I took a lighter to my leather Coach tote and it didn't catch fire, but it left it black LOL I almost cried!!! Other than this idea, I loved the video!!
Nooooo!!! Oy vey... you can clean it with a soft cloth and good quality leather soap and conditioner. Don't get it too wet or it can ruin the leather. If you're not comfortable doing it yourself, take it to a professional! Or the Coach store may be able to help you as well!

It's crocodile embossed. You can burn the end of the loose thread and it should stop fraying. I have worked in several high end stores. The higher the price the pelts will match. The snout of the croc if on there sets the tone. I think the bag is way overpriced!!!¡ love the design and size and color(done well) can wear off in time. Careful not to get scratches. Still love my skinned bags. Buy a good one at a great price. Good luck!

The most I've spent is $300. I like buying from smaller makers because the quality tends to be higher for less. A lot of time with designer bags you're mostly paying for the brand. Sometimes you can even get custom work if your lucky. I got my last bag from a russian brand out of St Petersburg called Two ta. Their bags are so beautiful, affordable and the style is perfect for me, really modern and minimalist. They agreed to make my bag in a special color for me and it was an amazing experience. Their bags are all real leather and solid harware, and look brand new for a very long time.

They now offer it in camel I noticed :) I actually bought it online. If you're comfortable ordering from overseas all kind of opportunities can open up!

I love a high-quality bag and I owned about six or seven real leather high-quality bags that not a single one of them cost more than $150 and I’ve had them for almost 6 or seven years now and all of them look brand new still even though I use song. They ALWAYS have sale, so their “sale” price is their actual price… and not a sale…
