One of my favorite episodes that you all have done! Love seeing the genuine joy and hype for so many different games that are coming.

I was also nervous about Dragon Age from that first trailer but the gameplay made me feel a lot more confident in it. Greg Miller pointed out that while the original Bioware team might be scattered to the winds the studio is now filled with people who grew up loving Bioware games. That's why they are at the studio they are.

it is said : "This Life is Strange is developped by one of the two studio who works on the franchise,Deck Nine".
    A little clarification here :
Don't Nod doesn't work on the franchise anymore. They created the franchise and made Life is Strange 1 & 2 (and Captain Spirit). The IP is owned by Square Enix and it's now Deck Nine who works on these games.
Now the OG LiS creators team at Don't Nod Montreal (a new studio created by Don't Nod Paris 4 years ago ) is working on their own new franchise,Lost Records.

I so agree that this has the potential to be the greatest Dragon Age ever. This may be a sunken cost thing, but after 10 years, I've never been so excited for a game release in my life!

I never played a Dragon Age but this may be the first one because the gameplay looked really good!
So excited for it to release!
Also Sarah was a cool guest for the show.

My top picks are still Avowed, Starfield Shattered Space, and Perfect Dark (I can really only play first party games well) and also Fable. PC player. I don’t have an issue with games more than a year out not having more specific release windows. Fable did get a window and it’s almost certainly holiday 2025. They seem to be following the Starfield road for marketing. That meant showcase presence at SGF for 2 yrs prior to launch (2023 and 24), likely followed by an in depth direct at next year’s SGF. I’m not worried about them not showing a launch date for a game that’s still a year and a half out. More concerned we didn’t get a release date for Avowed, although I think Obsidian accidentally leaked November 12 on their website the following day, then pulled it. I suspect there may be internal jockeying with Bethesda for October and November 2024 release dates, between Fable, Starfield expansion, and Indiana Jones.

I am so disappointed by the three ability slots. It broke my soul a bit when DAI limited them to 8, and this one broke me more. I know it's not everyone's thing. But for me, getting access to all the abilities in DA games was a major thing for me. Inunderstand the reasons the devs gave in the Q and A, but I don't like it. I hope the game is very enjoyable for all who get it. But after 10 years if waiting, I'm out.
