Scarecrow should be in catwoman's spot, I don't consider her a villain to batman, she is more of his love interest and is petty thief, not much a threat to him.

Yazmine Shabazz tell what is the worst she has done to him? not much, in dire times she has become his ally and helped him through some tough obstacles, more like a anti-hero who is torn between doing the right thing and wrong thing.

Hugo Strange. Anyone who read the Engleheart and Rodgers Detective Comics in 1977 knows he is a top 5 villain. He defeated Batman.

I was channel surfing today and stumbled upon an episode of the 1960's Batman TV show. The villain, Colonel Gumm began his monolog but was stopped by Reprint, his henchman. Reprint said that they shouldn't give away the details of their plan.
Reprint is the greatest henchman ever.

Yes but she still comes in confict with Batman at times, so she is part of his rouge gallery.
I've have said this many times before an anti-hero is a villain. They are not evil they aren't monsters, but but they are not good people. Whether it's a thief with a moral code like Catwoman, a vigilanty that will go to far like Huntress, or a patriot who will do what it takes to win like Amanda Waller.
Great point! She is not evil but she is a master thief. I would say her character development is similar to the Alfred Hitchcock move To Catch A Thief where a master jewel thief/Cat burgeler played by Cary Grant has reformed and is now a hero.

Scarecrow is my favorite Batman villain, or villain in general. Hes the true opposite of Batman: a man that stands as an icon of hope, justice and overcoming your fears. Scarecrow of course is that fear. He's a testament to mind consuming matter and uses that excellently. I dont think ive seen a bad portrayel of him, both as a character and in art. He looks terrifying and it really hits home that his character is someone born of terror

10 Penguin-A bird of prey that knows how to make things difficult for his predators.
9 Killer Croc-Not exactly an A tier rouge but I think he was the potential to be better.
8 Poison Ivy-Hands down one of the toughest Batman villains and one of the sexiest.
7 Clayface-A villain that can turn into just about anything how can that not be great.
6 Mr.Freeze-All he did was for his wife so you can't help feeling sorry for him despite his cold hearted actions. (Pun intended of course)
5 Bane-Strong & smart so he can attack Batman physically & mentally a dangerous combo.
4 Scarecrow-Basically the Freddy Kruger of DC.
3 Two-Face-A former friend turned enemy also did you know he was inspired by Dr.Jekyll & Mr.Hyde.
2 Riddler-Smart psychotic and an ego the size of Gotham he is and always will he one of the best.
1 Joker-Big shock not just the best Batman villains but possibly the greatest villain period.

Perhaps it’s as if someone has a different opinion then you. Hush isn’t really an A-list bad guy which is probably why he wasn’t on the list.
Because hush was only in one good story arc, any stories about the character after the self titled arc is kinda garbage, the only thing that made hush popular again was the arkham city game
Not saying hush ain't a good villain but you need to have at least more examples of great comics or at least be more prominent and he is neither. I mean rhas al guhl isn't here either but you know a ton of people would want him on here

10. Poison Ivy-Her portrayal in the arkham games are really nice, making her an interesting villain
9. Man-Bat- he really means well, just to find a cure. I find his story interesting
8. Two-Face- represents batmans duality, especially seeing as he was friends with Bruce wayne
7. The Riddler- he challenges batmans intellect, not much of a physical fighter
6. Red Hood (when a villain... duh)- I like what he stands for, which is batmans greatest failure. Some villains can be arguably created by batman, but Jason Todd is LITERALLY created through batman. Had he not been brought in as being robin, none of this would've happened really. He is more of an anti-hero, but he's just so badass
5. Ra's Al Ghul- in a sick and twisted way, he really does mean well... He wants to purify the world of crime. He just takes it too far. No big deal
4. The Joker- honestly not number one because I find others more interesting. I know he is the quintessential villain of batman, as he has just been a pain. Paralyzed Barbara, killed Jason, and in the DCAU he kidnapped Tim and transformed him into a kid joker. Just pure evil
3. Scarecrow- he's usually overlooked to be honest. He represents batmans tactics of fear, and with the joker it can be argued he has a few screws loose, but it's implied that scarecrow isn't insane, just pure evil. He's smart, calculating, and badass
2. Bane- when he's not being portrayed as a big bumbling idiot, he poses a serious threat. He is a genius, figured out batmans identity, is a serious physical threat, and broke the bat. Love it
1. Me Freeze- I would recommend to everyone to watch the episode of the animated series Heart of Ice. It portrays freeze as a kind of wise and seasoned guy at the end of the rope and just wants to cure his wife, even if it means he'll go to extreme lengths. Even though he's on top tens, he needs to be higher on lists. Plus his boss fight in arkham city is one of the best in any game ever. Just saying.
So there you have it
Id put Riddler higher as he is smart as shit and more dangerous.

Harley quinn isn't a good villain, she just gets stomped all the time with Joker.

Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn definitely both deserve their place somewhere in the top ten. Harley's origin story is quite awesome in her line of comics (pre-new 52), and her character has a lot of depth. Poison Ivy's character also has a lot of depth upon reading the comics, and her concept as a guardian of plant life while still holding onto some humanity (that she often denies) makes her a very interesting character.

Kudos to you for a video well done! I was surprised that The Riddler was in second place and not Ras al Gul. I'm also surprised you didn't mention Riddler was Hush. Also I liked The Batman animated series version of Mr. Freeze being a common diamond thief who was trapped in an experimental cryogenic tube and gained cryogenic powers like Killer Frost and many other villains of DC comics. Plus Clancy Brown was that character's voice talent in that series.

Wow, bane is the "living" interpretation of the phrase "sins of the father" speaking of which, why has there never been a bane comic called that?
There was an Anarky issue that was called, Sins of the Father. That was the issue that Anarky found out that The Joker might be his father, but that title definitely fits Bane a lot more

He's now more considered as part of Nightwing's rogues' gallery.
Lei-Keane Lee i see him as just an overall DC villain since he faces off against a bunch of heroes such as Green Arrow, Nightwing, and the Teen Titans to name a few. Arkham Origins for sure convinced a lot of people that deathstroke is a batman villain.
Yea, he originally was wasn't he? But then when they started making him Nightwing's villian when he was in teen titans, he kinda became part of his rogue's gallery. But he's also an overall villian, mainly because he's just a mercenary.
Lei-Keane Lee well when he first started out as deathstroke the terminator his only real enemies became the teen titans mainly robin but then to nightwing. Even tho he has fought batman in the past he is not considered by fans to be a member of Batman's rogues gallery. DeadShot is but not Deathstroke

Seriously? Catwoman (my favourite female character, but not a villain) and Clayface? Scarecrow is a top 5 Batman villain surely. Not only is he one of the best villains for Batman in the comics, his portrayals in other media are excellent, e.g. Cillian Murphy in Batman begins. If you ever did an updated list, he should definitely be on it especially following Batman Arkham Knight. Not joking, John Noble's portrayal of scarecrow is one my favourite voice portrayals ever. Up there with Mark Hamill's Joker for me.
P.S. If you class him as a Batman villain, Deathstroke should definitely be here as he is one of DCs best characters in my opinion. But if you don't class him specifically as a Batman villain, fair enough.

I haven't seen a Batman villain's list that the Joker was not #1.
I don't think its possible to do that, so don't fight it. You can reshuffle the other villains, but Joker to Batman is Lex Luthor to Superman, or Magneto to Xavier, it just flows together.
Joker may not even be in my top 10 Batman villians. I like Joker but being arch nemesis doesn't automaitcally make you the best villian.

Superman should be first or second place. Seriously! Batman and superman are constantly fighting each other.
Every year superman and batman fight, because superman turns evil or misunderstood. The new movie that is coming out will have superman and batman fight each other.
Have you seen the dark knight returns, red sun, almost every animation series, infinite crisis?! Superman have actually succeeded in killing mass amounts of superheroes or stop them from being heroes altogether way more than any other super villains have. RUclips: superman vs batman. Superman turns evil and you will see that superman constantly going at it with batman or existence itself.

I don't know whether Deathstroke counts as a Batman villain. I mean he thought him a few times but he is the arch nemesis of the Teen Titans. He is bloody awesome though and probably my fave DC villain.
Deathstroke is more of nightwing villain or the teen titans but he is still the best villain

YES! Love for The Riddler! Riddles is one of my favorite hobbies. My friends and coworkers love the riddles I make and sometimes compete to see who solves them first. When I am dry I do a twist in the wording of one of my favorite riddles from my youth.
Oh, and Bane was not just killed in the 90s in a movie. He was killed as well as Batman's fighting skills were killed with Bane's recent movie incarnation. That Bane would have been a virtually perfect bad guy if they made him not Bane but an original character and did not twist Talia into a child of the pit that was actually part of Bane's backstory.
Remember the writers' strike that spawned that wave of reality shows? I think that gave leverage to the powers that be to do lazy writing that they can just call in, turning writing into mere mass production that pleases the corporations and producers that hire them. Crank it out or make them fire you and turn it into a cash-grab... reality show standards. No wonder people are waiting for video/cable release and paying for Netflix and becoming fans of fan-created content.
