  • We’re proud to support the largest community of aspiring first-time buyers in the UK and we’re committed to giving them a voice, to ensure that their needs and lived experiences are understood by those responsible for shaping policy and product design.
We recently surveyed more than 4,000 aspiring and recently successful first-time buyers about their experiences in order to create our in-depth Voice of First-time Buyers report.
Our research uncovered several factors that disproportionately affect many aspiring homeowners' ability to realise their dream of home ownership. We launched the report at the Labour Party Conference and discussed our findings with a panel of MPs and councillors.
Although there’s no one-size-fits-all solution to address the issues facing the UK housing market, from our research and discussions with first-time buyers we have identified key recommendations that we believe will help empower first-time buyers, including future-proofing the Lifetime ISA.
You can learn more about the challenges facing many first-time buyers and our proposed solutions in our Voice of First-Time Buyers white paper: www.moneyboxap...
We will keep campaigning and amplifying the voice of first-time buyers to ensure that their needs are recognised and prioritised by policymakers. Make sure you’re following us for updates.

I would love to see the house price cap increase, while I absolutely pains me to think that I would be putting more than 450k in a house, the reality is that if you aspire to buy a first family home, in several area, not just London, that is very limiting and unlikely to get you what you're looking for. I moved my Help to Buy into the Lifetime ISA and if this change doesn't happen I won't be able to use what I saved to buy a house anyway, and will instead have that money locked until retirement. I truly hope you're heard because it is long overdue.
