- Flux is the biggest position in my portfolio and worth over $800,000. Why do I hold so much Flux? Why do I love this investment? In this video I dig into a few of the big reasons why I am bullish on Flux long-term. I talk about how I view this investment and why I think it's a smart play for myself. ▼▼

Flux has made a lot of progress since this video and flux is currently more valuable now than it was a year ago. I would like to see a current video.
Yeah I am sure I will make an update soon
Need quickly bro with price prediction
Andy, as always, you’re the man. 2 questions for you.
1.) Have you ever looked into Akash (AKT) on cosmos? Pretty much flux but for proof of stake.
2.) Could you make or is there a good setup video out there for Flux nodes? I spoke with Ryan Matta and I think a relevant, updated video on setting up a flux node would be massively beneficial to the community.
Thanks as always for the content sir!
Bro how much u have now
Glad I found your video, I just started to build a mining rig and flux is one of the coins I got on mind
May 5th 2 more parallel assets added to flux, that's roughly 10% in rewards for FREE. Load your bags
FLUX is Web3..... HODL to the MOOOON !!! Also, I like THE GRAPH a Web3
With so many Flux would you be willing to do a node giveaway? 😁
congratulations mate flux is doing really great today
Lmao
as a mcdonalds employee i own $400 worth of FLUX providing liquidity on the eckodex alongside KDA, im trying to build 6k kda and 3k FLUX and stack the dex coin aswell which is kdx
Keep it up Tristian!
Why cany somebody produce a simple guide to set up a node
Great video, Andy! March 1st is super close, the node halving is going to be huge for the network
Another great video. I'm looking forward to my first flux nod in a few months. Keep up the great work
Thanks for watching!
Andy's not fluxing about!
Hi Andy, Love your content and your breakdowns; not to mention the extreme transparency. I'm wondering if you've looked at Cubu node yet. I assume it might end just the same as the rest, but the liquidity is great atm. Let me know. Thanks
Thanks for watching and stay tuned for tomorrow's video :)
Great video. Thanks Andy!
A true friend. Thanks Andy
that's the best "smash that like button" approach I've seen in a while lololololol
haha appreciate it
Hey could you please do a tutorial video on Flux Node setup?
What's your thoughts on the new node hardware requirements? I like the slight barrier to entry that ensures useful work but plug and play options would be nice!
theyre adding something like that for 10-100 FLUX node collateral, last I heard.
@@QueenTheCossackTongued those are staking options where you stake flux in a pool and get the rewards rather than standing up your own node or VPS
@@awkwardt are they? Theyre in thr same papers that talk about the Flux Nodes and they can run off raspberries. Just dont get Node Rewards
@@QueenTheCossackTongued those are based off the dapps they operate so imagine you run your own dapps on flux, you can double dip by hosting your own node. I could be wrong but it also appears to be more educational/test style nodes
Hello Andy good to see you too. My flux bag is creeping towards 12k flux to run a Stratus node after the halving... Excited to be a part of the project! Thanks for introducing me to FLux!
Awesome! Way to go 💪
Finally some green eh
Love to see it!
Can we see your mining rigs that run flux, or better yet, all your mining rigs that you run in general? Maybe you have a video on this I havent seen yet, but id love to see what your setup is!
can you do a video on how to setup a node?
#1 here I am trying hard to make to the zzz, but $$ short.. I keep on fighting.
I really like your presentation skills. Your a fun you tuber. Thanks for the great videos. Love it!!
very informative
Hi Andy, I am currently running a full 10k Cumulus node on a VPS...What should we be considering with the new changes coming? Can we leave the 10k node running or do we have to make 10 - 1,000 flux nodes or should we buy up to be able to run a 12,500 Nimbus node? Also how does one go about moving a Cumulus node to a Nimbus node?
Hello Andy, Pocket network claims also to be decentralized AWS, like flux. Can you tell us, What are the differences between FLUX and Pocket network????
Thanks in advance
Due for an update video with the current updates on this project.
love u vids andy u really look like my friend keep up friend :D
The price is very low right now, do the profits still outway the costs? I am thinking of getting some nodes.
How many nodes can I run on one system? On one computer? One or does it depend on the system itself?
What you think 2023 about Flux?
Thanks for the Video
Where does the income from to justify the value of the token.......apart from the purchasing of nodes that is? Are enough people paying for a decentralised server service from Flux to justify the current token price.....I doubt it. So to my mind, this is another Ponzi scheme - until it isn't i.e. if it can keep going and grow to a size that it generates meaningful income, then it might hit Ponzi escape velocity.
It in no way constitutes a ponzi scheme..ponzi requires later adopters to pay what the early adopters get as income..it relies on new people to pay the rest..flux doesn't do this as there is no buy in...you don't buy a node..you just lock collateral..that collateral always remains yours..your attempting to relate value with ponzi..but that's not related..price of coin comes from usability..rarity..demand..and sustainability..there are already many dapps deployed on the node network..from minecrsft servers to search engines..kda nodes and it will be hosting kdx also..they spun up thirty dapps just in December amd grow all the time
@@oracle392 Ok, so you first need to buy the Flux and then that Flux is locked up/taken out of the circulating supply to secure the node, so this puts demand side pressure on the coin and therefore supports the price....ok, I get that part. This doesn't necessarily give the coin value though. Value comes from doing work/providing a service that people are willing to trade for.
My point being, there is no point having a large node network that no one is using i.e. if no one is using the network (and therefore paying for the service in Flux), eventually the value of the coin will fall, as node owners will run out of people to sell their earned Flux too.
So until the network effects of the nodes takes off, it effectively is a Ponzi, because the only real/major use case for the coin is to buy new nodes.......so like I tried to say in the original message, the project needs real life users of the nodes (all paying in Flux), for the project to make Ponzi economics escape velocity.
@@abnersilverio Exactly - it's a Ponzi until it isn't.
This project either dies or moons.
@@abnersilverio ok well your free to have your opinion.. to everyone else reading these comments do your own research. Most of the dapps work well. I host a signal encrypted messaging app on flux and use it everyday. I run six presearch nodes that are run on flux that work great and it's cheaper than any other provider and I've tested a plethora of their other dapps that have worked. Are there issues? Sure there always will be but it's a good team building new tech and it'll only get better. Sure there are some complainers on discord but n nowhere near as many as this guy implies..don't let this fud discourage you..he is falsely equating value to a ponzi scheme. I mean by his loose definition the biggest ponzi schemes out there are all fiat currencies..bitcoin..and all crypto since none of them have perfected their systems yet...guess he thinks the only good investment is legacy systems like Amazon since their tech works...oh wait how many times have their hosting services not worked? Damn guess they too are a ponzi scheme
I've been trying to figure out if this is scam or legit, but so far it seems quite scammy.
I want to host a game with plenty of users on their network, but there's practically no information targeted at developers - it's only for miners.
The apps they host are just a few dozen - totally meaningless, they probably have 0 user base. And most being a few hundred lines of code.
There are many questions that any developer would like to know before they decide to move from amazon to flux, like - what happens when the guy that hosts your server shuts it down? What happens when the node operator starts reading/modifying your database... These problems seem impossible to solve and they make the entire idea of server hosting on a blockchain impossible.
time 4 a flux vid!!!!!!
FYI - The Render Network (RNDR) uses decentralized hashing power of GPUs to run "jobs" (i.e. 3D renderings, media, gaming, medical, industry, etc. ) through smart contracts
Yeah I'm familiar with Render. I'm interested to see what they do.
Im gonna buy 500$ of flux next time I get paid! Have been investing and mining flux for a few months now. Really see a future in flux
Are you in redlight node district?
Hey Andy! Have you thought of comparing Flux to Pokt Network?
are you my friend andy
Hi Andy! I have commented previously on one of your videos regarding flux. Love the videos, keep it up!
I have a question, I have bought 2000 FLUX at a cheap rate due to the market dropping, but I don’t have a powerful PC for me to run nodes on it :/, is there any devices where I can buy and run the flux nodes on like a plug and play? Or maybe a secure/safe server that I can rent to run the nodes? Thanks again!!
Andy runs them on a VPS
Yeah like goop said, I run all mine on cloud servers. That's probably your best bet! Here's the official Flux node spreadsheet: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KJf9yI7RGl01ZgkWA8qVPQUwChEfe0JK2UGfubnq4Fw/edit#gid=0

@@YourFriendAndy thanks Andy for the response! I know I asked this before, but when the new system is released on the 1st of March, would you be able to do a tutorial on how to run a flux node using a VPS? Would be highly appreciated and would help a lot! Thanks again Andy :)
@@AmSmokez I plan to!
Owned flux before finding your channel, thought it had some serious potential, started using the zelcore wallet and have been nothing but disappointed, I didn’t make any investments on your accord, my own decision. Frankly I now believe flux is junk because zelcore sucks and have completely lost faith in the flux network/protocol as a hole. Dumping all these coins as soon as zelcore decides to actually work and not make my coins disappear when I send them to an exchange after swapping for a token my exchange accepts.
How much $Flux did you own before finding this channel?
Flux is doing so well. I love the zelcore wallet. I love my node. I love my miner mining Flux. I love my parallel assets. Strong future.
Hey Andy. Would Flux still be a good entry? I need a DEPIN project. It's run up since I started to investigate, but I needed time to learn more. I believe, but looking for a little shove.
It depends on what you think it's capable of doing in this bull run. I'm personally waiting for $3-5+ price targets, but that's just what I think is possible. It's up to you if you think it can do something like that or not. I'm still holding a lot of Flux... so I'm hoping my bet pays off.
This was a good video...
Its really helpful to every crypto holders
Hey Andy what are your thoughts on Atlas Cloud node
This is the video i have been waiting for
This is a great video but if they're decreasing the coins needed to host a node, doesn't that also mean rewards are decreased? Shouldn't rewards also change and decrease?
rewards stay the same technically but it will allow many more to afford a node so those rewards will be diluted....but this will make the network much larger and more powerful and tie up more Flux in nodes...this will inevitability result in higher flux price so rewards in USD will actually increase.
Still holding?
Yeah 👍
Definitely, it's a gem, still on low market cap
Hey I love your videos, can you check the new node project "HORDE" that just came out?

@@YourFriendAndy very true! now is the time for average people with average means to set themselves up for life. Patience is all it takes.
50-100x projects from here are now everywhere! Including this beautiful Angel - FLUX!
Flux is cool project. But by saying that halving give you opportunity to enter for less flux to own the full node is not accurate. For example enter for 1000 flux instead 10 k(Cumulus node). you will own 10% of a node not 100% Which means 10% rewards of the full node , the same other nodes... More people come in price will go up of the flux but rewards will drop.
You have to view it long-term. This is a short-term way to view it. Once upon a time my nodes were barely making anything, but now they are crazy profitable. When new tiers come out, you will make a lot less rewards probably, but if in the next year the price goes to $5, $10 or $25+, they will be VERY profitable. Even more so even farther in the future if the project continues to be successful. I like viewing this stuff through a long lens. But of course make your own decisions... that's just how I see it!
@@YourFriendAndy I agree.
would really like to see a comparison between Flux and Qortal . They are also building a web3.0 decentralized platform for everything we do online and they are 8 years old!
Flux or DAG?
I don't know, Dibi seems lime a suspicious character.
Miners are suppressing $FLUX price action, terribly.
I hope when the bull run is in full swing, the demand can overcome any miner/node sell-off
I wish I was already there within the hundred of thousands, LOL light years yet, but working on it, thanks for another great video Andy!!
I am building a mining rig just for Flux solo mining. I want to mine enough to create a 12.5K node, and keep compounding until I have multiple nodes. I'm in it for the long haul!
If we say strong is most likely a ponzi scheme, do we then apply the same standards and conclude flux to be the same as they both operate more or less on the same principles and have similar tokenomics?.. if not, why not?
Flux doesn't need new investors to pay current ones, Strong does. Flux node operators are paid from a portion of the block reward as new blocks are mined.
Can you please do a video on Vapor Nodes
Staking my Flux tokens on CoinMetro.
I'm interested in the Flux nodes, however when I commit my Flux 10,000, do I loose it or can I take that out at anytime I want?
You keep it! You can delete your node and that will un-stake your Flux. You can then transfer it anywhere you want. Also the 10,000 Flux node will only require 1,000 flux starting March 1st.
@@YourFriendAndy Awesome, I'm excited now! I'm going to jump on board with you.
I see Flux hitting 10$ !
I'd like to see that!
price 2025 10 $ 20$ 100 good question
Hello Andy, hope you’re doing well. When the collateral for FLUX goes down from 10k to 1k. Will the rewards be decreased too?
The percentage remains the same, but the base on which you earn is only 1k instead of 10k. So the amount in FLUX you earn per year in absolute terms is also only 1/10 as big. Furthermore, the requirements for the VPS have increased a bit, which means that the server rent could be a bit more as well. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Which is why this video is a shameless shill for his bag that he's misleading people to believe the project wil 10x without considering different angles. The more nodes. The fewer rewards. So there is no incentives for new investors to get more nodes. Maybe current investors will even get out if the rewards get shared too much.
@@hgcgvvcc node rewards only decrease if nodes are 10x the number currently and the price stays the same.

Hey Andy , do we have to verify our Thor nodes after we create them or is this some scam that is going on out there right now asking us to send our metamask address and screenshot of our nodes and all?
If someone is asking for your info it's probably a scam! Once you have created a node yourself, there is no further verification needed. Never share your private address or seed phrase from your wallet with anyone. Stay safe out there!

KuCoin is one of the best (link for 10% off trading fees in description), but you have to use something like strike, coinbase, or crypto.com to get your dollars into crypto first before sending to KuCoin

I'm betting big it does though.
Does Pokt network is same as flux
Not sure, I'm still looking into it!
400K
Does the 40k node still make 2k?
Nope! A stratus node makes $170-200 a month right now. The price is down a lot since I made this video and a lot more nodes have come online. The price is going back up though.
it is too old...it's been around for 5 years...big bag holders (like this guy) are waiting to recoup their losses by hoping it hits 2-3$ again after buying from the 2020 bull run...10s of millions of flux will get dumped on the market the second it goes above 2-3$...unfortunately, I think a lot of folks will buy into this agian and get rekt again. Newer projects with btter marketing and tech are in the same space. There is very little trade volume on this project...it used to be called 'zelcash' back in 2018...it false advertizes a 'partnership' with nvidia, which is in fact is merely money nvidia gives away to many 'startup' projects...flux has advertized it like it was a 'partnership', which it isn't. It is currently a little over 1$ after 5 years+....it could hit 2.5$ before bag holders dump their bags, but nothing higher.

Considering the expertise required to run a flux node the reward is insulting
20-30% APY is astronomical by any traditional metric.

Yes, I still have about 500K Flux
Didn’t age well
haha maybe. I still have about $300K worth of Flux and I did take about $200K worth of profits from it in the last bull run. AND compared to many other altcoins that are down 98%, Flux looks really good. So you can think this didn't age well, but I feel pretty good about my position!
