Hi there, someone with diagnosed DID here! You cannot choose the names of your alternate personalities (usually), they come with them when they develop. DID is also only developed by people with life changing trauma, such as sexual and physical abuse, all before the age of 8 (you didn't say anything different, I was just stating facts, especially since I highly doubt a lot of these children on TikTok have that amount of trauma). Another note, saying they're "recognized" is NOT a diagnosis, they are still undiagnosed / self diagnosed, And fictives are usually not anime characters or RUclipsrs, so all of these are red flags. Lastly, these people would NOT be able to know all of this information about their alters. DID causes a lot of amnesia and barriers between the parts, most people don't even know their alter counts or the names of their alters, nor that some even exist to begin with. They would not be able to know their "neopronouns" or "xenogenders" or their ages, or sometimes even their names. They would have amnesia. That's the whole point of DID.
Thank you for putting this I was looking for a comment like this. I'm not saying acheeto did anything wrong but I do think people should educate themselves a tiny bit more on the disorders before making a video talking about people faking them

With the first video, I just wanna tell you Stimming isn’t limited to autistic people. Someone who is neurotypical, (no autism, adhd, etc) can still stim , it’s normal for everyone to do.
I have someone related to me with something like DID, I just wanted to clear something up with one thing you said in this video. actually no, you cannot name your alters, they come with their own names once they form. some alters can have weird names, others can have normal names. idk if this is different for some but based on what ive heard, I dont believe the host can name their alters. :3 no hard feelings tho, its a complex disorder so some may get things confused, have a good day x3
i know someone that is keep talking about how she’s relating so much to people that have adhd and autism, which is cool because i dont mind people labeling themselves. she doesn’t exactly self diagnoses her with adhd and autism, but it feels like the only thing she says when she is talking about herself about the adhd and autism stuff is that she is creative and aro ace like wtf? she never mentioned anything else besides that.
ah and btw, she always is talking about the topic atm. But she started doing it only a few weeks or maybe months ago she never was un concentrated, fidgety, disorganized, she never stimmed herself, never had problems talking, she never were monoton etc. i dont say that she CANT have it, but it’s just weird how she is talking about this since only 2 weeks. she never mentioned ANYTHING of this in the last 4 years i know her.
I know someone exactly like that too, she claimed to have autism without being diagnosed then only started showing symptoms after that, now it's all she talks about. Obviously she could actually have it but exaggerating really isn't going to help her get a real diagnosis
I have a cousin who has been actually diagnosed by a doctor with autism and every time they see one of these they get so incredibly pist off it’s insane.
@@ChaoOnRUclips well it depends on how old she is. Because signs of ADHD can come later on in the child’s life. I’ve met people who have had that happen to them. For me I’ve had SLD (ADHD) my whole life but there is definitely cases where people started showing signs of it during middle school or even early high school. But with autism..that’s definitely weird…. If she genuinely thinks she has it tell her to go to the counselor so they can do a general test or have her to go the doctor and ask for a referral to get diagnosed.
Hey i just thought i'd put this out there since it was mentioned in the video, legit people with DID/MPD do not choose the names of their "alters", they don't even know they have the disorder usually because you're not in control at all if there is another personality "at front" or something like that. People with the disorder will often wake up not knowing where they are, know people they've never met, have a feeling that their body isn't really theirs, stuff like that. You also cannot talk to the other personalities, its just not how it works i don't think If i've said something incorrect please someone correct me, i'd like to know a little more
I have a friend with DID, MPD is an outdated term. 1. You can't name your alters, they have their own names, but I suppose you could give them a nickname. 2. multiple alters can front, and the term is "fronting" not "at front" 3. alters can speak to eachother 4. You don't need to put quotations on alters, that's what they're called. 5. The disorder is typically diagnosed when the system is going through a lot of stress and the switches are more obvious, it's a disorder that happens due to ongoing/complex trauma (you can look up cptsd for yourself for more info) With more light being shed on this disorder it's easier for people to notice these changes in themselves (having amnesia doesn't mean you forget every single thing that has ever happened to you, it's different for everyone.) Are there fakers? Yeah obviously, but fakeclaiming people with potential trauma is harmful, especially trauma that is so bad the person may have forgotten it completely due to amnesia. More accurate information needs to be made aware to more people. Anyway, hope this helps.
Jazmin Bean is the thumbnail and I was scared and clicked on this video just to see that Jazmin wasn’t even in this video. What was the point in putting them as the thumbnail? 💀
The thumbnail shouldn’t be Jazmin Bean. I clicked because I thought THEY were faking disorders. Kind of clickbait, should be someone who’s actually faking
i was diagnosed with autism 3 years ago and i know how much ive gone through just because i have autism is nothing compared to other disorders. like tourettes. these people that have to go through that stuff everyday, getting bullied and hurt for somthing they cant control. how anyone can go oh that sounds like fun! just baffles me.
why is Jazmin bean the thumbnail☠️☠️☠️ bro really used them as "omg alt person cringe oOoO". use someone who actually faked a disorder and not someone you pick on random, just bc they alt, idk what u hv against alt ppl doe lmao 😹
Change the thumbnail it’s offensive and misleading. If you don’t know who the person is, their name is Jazmin Bean and they are a song artist. Putting them as a thumbnail for a fake disorder video is bad representation. Just because someone decides to wear a certain style of makeup does not mean that they are cringe or an attention seeker. Use a thumbnail showing the people who actually fake disorders and seek attention. I know you want more views but using a photo like that is not right.
hey just a heads up, your thumbnail is a pretty famous artist that doesn't associate with these types of people in anyway. they just make alternative music and dress alternatively, so using someone for clickbait is kinda not cool... their name is jazmin bean btw.
the fact that there are people on this planet who literally are exploiting the death of a 23 y/o cancer patient just to get clout makes me want to end it all
Idk what dissociation is for other people but I'm nearly sure it's not just spacing out. Usually I just be straight chilling and everything in my body is just connected like I'm one part but when I'm dissociating I'm not really just me but it's more like I'm piloting a meat suit. It literally feels like the smooth and cohesive connectivity between my body and my brain were severed so I have to be proactive with everything but it's harder because I'm not fully conscious.
@@winchestersons6258 what? That's a dissociation thing? I thought that was just normal to happen sometimes. Wait are you talking like out of body monk type experience or your body goes on auto while you think complex thoughts?
For that first clip, stimming is a thing anyone with anxiety, adhd or autism. Idk about the Vaseline but people with anxiety or adhd or autism can have stims similar bc it's a calming solution and it may work for them. I have adhd and I used to put on chapstick as a distraction and calming solution, it's not faking a disorder. Also my step dad has autism and he has a lot of random stims and so that first clip is probably real
Also I found out im on the spectrum recently, and the fact these kids are using it grosses me out. Autism runs bad in my family and I always thought I may be low on the spectrum, but I never assumed. I went 7 years (since starting therapy at 13) without knowing until a had my re-evaluation with my psych and I was then sent for an MRI. My cousin has severe autism, she's a high level 2 but with the proper help, you wouldn't realize she has it. My oldest brother is a low level 2 meaning he's stuck in the brain of an 18-19 year old. My second eldest brother has Asperger's (even though it's not called Asperger's anymore that was his diagnosis). I never put all the pieces together because who am I to assume I have something without consulting a professional??? The only thing I ever assumed was depression at age 12 because it's a lot easier to realize you have depression than any other disorder. But it's the type of disorder where you still are left in the dark about it because you don't know whether it's MDD, Chronic depression, etc. And depression comes in many forms but how I knew was the fact that living life didn't please me. I never saw a point and I always hid away and slept days of my life away I can never get back and regret so much. Mental disorders are not cute and not fun. They're really really damaging and has taken my life away from me for years and I'm still fighting everyday. I'm getting sick of tik tokers, IN MY AGE GROUP, acting like this. I'm so fucking disgusted.
bruh what does jazmin bean have to do with all of this 💀💀 get them out of the thumbnail thats mad disrespectful. make ur research theyre literally a singer😭💀
The most interesting thing is that all the alters were (mostly) made up by TikTok. In reality, they are different personalities which can get triggered by certain things. For example, a child with DID just got a toy taken from him by another kid. The kid might be scared of doing anything, but because of the DID, their brain can turn on a different, more aggressive/confident personality that can confront the offender. Also, I know quite a bit about this, but not at all an expert. Please correct me if I'm wrong!
You're very correct, but something that insignificant wouldn't cause a trigger for an alter. Alternate personalities are typically only fronted when there's a trauma trigger, such as being abused, words or phrases that cause flashbacks, or instances that are similar to the trauma that they experienced! It is a good example though, just not very realistic to the reality of the situation!
Something I find annoying is how he doesn’t know what fictives are. Yes these people are faking, but they aren’t “impersonating” Wilbur and I don’t think they weren’t implying actual Technoblade walked into their room.
I was in dbt therapy for 3 months in an outpatient facility. Guess what? Everyone looked normal. No weird makeup or hair. All ages. If anyone does a tictok and has weird or makeup I immediately discounted them.
@@vomitsmegma sorry, if someone has 10 different identities with different hair cors, makeup, etc named direwolf, wolverine, dragonfire, they are faking. Ill take bets on this
@@winchestersons6258 yeah but just because someone has dyed hair doesn't mean they aren't suffering. diagnosed with adhd and depression about four years ago and i changed my hair often because it makes me feel like im in control of my life. when i cant control how im being treated at home i can just give myself bangs or blond hair and bang
@@dollhousecrybaby73 You can tell the difference between yourself, and wolfsbane in the above video. These people are grasping at straws and are forcing attention in addition to faking a disorder. Hey, I saw the stream about you covering the braso situation. I unfortunately couldn’t join the stream, and I know it’s not much, but thanks for keeping RUclipsrs honest
It's crazy how it seems that allistics (non-autistic people) who pretend to be autistic for clout actually know about autism more than most of us actual autistic people do because those kind of "things I do as an autistic person" type videos made by fakers I would never actually be able to do one for real as an autistic person myself because at this point I can't even guess whatever I do/think is due to my autism, ADHD (because yes I also have ADHD), both or just a normal thing that everyone does/thinks 💀 (and most of the time I end up overthink everything I do because of those kind of videos, no joke)
I'm not staying that the first person is or isn't faking, but I just wanted to say all people stim. Some people associate stimming with autism but really spinning in circles for ‘no reason’ or listening to music can be a stim. -- an autistic person (me)
It’s funny because I have an IEP which puts me in classes with kids that have different types of disabilities. (Another form of special ed classes) and I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS!!!! None of us goes around romanticizing our disabilities. It’s not cool or funny being unable to do something it’s so embarrassing. I just got taken out of my LRC English class and now in a regular classroom with a teacher assistant…. ITS EMBARRASSING!!!! I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY SOMEONE WANTS TO BE DISABLED SO BADLY! What makes me giggle more is that they only pretend to have Tourette’s syndrome, DID, ADHD, or just straight up autism. But no one wants to pretend to have dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, APD, NVLD, or ASD ect. Thank you for reading my rant 😍😍😍😍
Why do people comment on these videos like "I'm actually diagnosed with adhd and autism, also depression and bpd, also a bunch of other disorders that inherently contradict each other and that no reputable doctor would diagnose someone with together" You are literally faking a disorder to comment about people faking disorders. If you literally just look at the DSM for the disorders you decide to list to seem credible or something, you'd know that the symptoms put the disorders in a position of not being logical to diagnose together. Much love from a person, who doesn't need to specify if I've been medically diagnosed with some random list of disorders I came up with to apparently comment on a yt vid and complain about people pretending to have the same exact disorders.
1:38 great video but i dont think she was actually having a tick attack at the moment, she was just acting like she was having it for the pov. doesnt mean she is faking her disorder (might also be faking but yeah, not certain)
As someone who has Autism, this isn’t funny or ok to fake disabilities/disorders. It’s actually extremely messed up. It’s bad enough when people bully those with disorders or disabilities, but the fact that people even fake this type of stuff for views just pisses me off. I’ve even been made fun of, probably because I have autism, so I know how it feels for BOTH of these now. I’m seriously done with my generation…
Wait do most autistic people not walk on the balls of their feet? My younger brother is autistic and he walks on his toes all the time so is that a common thing?
There is something I want to say about alter naming that you mentioned in the end of the video I have seen real interviews with people that have DID and if you want some more clarification on this you can watch the interview with Anthony padilla of him interviewing a bunch of people with DID. One girl in the video by the name of Nan who has over 22 altars have said before that some of her altars even say the name that they want to go by when they meet the host of the body or are formed in the host's body I don't entirely know how the altars get there so please somebody explain that to me if anything. But you don't always get to choose the names of the altars. Some people do if the altar is considered a little and doesn't know how to talk or an altar that is unnamed. So that's what I know about the subject and if anyone can correct me please do in a respectful way, im not a psychiatrist or someone who diagnoses disorders so if I'm wrong about something let me know
Alters form due to trauma, so let's say there's just one person and one day something very traumatic happens to them over a period of time. They will essentially "split" their personality into two as a defense mechanism. This creates an alter and a host (the host typically recognizes themselves as the singular person pre-trauma and the alter can be slightly or wildly different). The more stress they are under the more the alter or host will split and create more alters. The conditions are different for every system, but this is why some hosts can have very few or a lot of alters. Alters and the host can be indistinguishable from eachother, alters can be wildly different from the host, the host can even go "dormant" and leave just the alters behind- trauma can be a devastating thing, so it's best to be sympathetic and not post videos mocking those who may or may not have it. You can easily ignore people. Hope this helps. (btw its alters with an e not an a)
@@vomitsmegma ok thanks for the help, and I also didn't notice that sometimes it was spelled with an a I was using the speech to text thingy so misspellings were common but thanks for the help
I feel like claiming people are faking disorders can kinda go too far… there were a few of these where i felt :/ because these aren’t fake signs and they also could be uploading these for awareness and mental disorder acceptance (like the DID meet the alter RUclips video one)
What I like about Acheeto is like his content isn't even contraversial. Like "Fake autism = Bad" and you know for fact theres some 14 year old kid in his mothers basement tryna defend someone. I dunno its just the funniest thing to me
As someone with a ton of disorders and problems that are commonly faked and/or overexaggerated for views (A Dissociative Disorder, Tics, Autism) I am absolutely TIRED of people assuming I'm faking it over people on the internet.
As someone who does have a disorder, if only these people were going through what I, and many other people go through, it’s sick what some people do for pointless shit
Bru why is jazmin bean the thumbnail tho, they are the sweetest person 💀 they didnt do anything except for being an absolute icon and a great musician. Also they have diagnosed (by a real therapist) aspergers syndrome so its really unfitting 🤦♀️ pls do resesrch before putting random ppl in ur thumbnails, you're dragging down other people for youtube views💕 xoxo
Err... the lip balm constant re-application is actually a stim that makes sense with a lot of austistic individuals. At least, my brother shares a similar one with chapstick. And the thumnail is an artist that has no association with these people, they are just an alternative styled person. This immediate association with alternative style and faking disorders is pretty... concerning.
Its so weird cause it’s like they WANT to have something wrong with them like- the people that actually have things like this likely would never even post it online🤨🤨🤨
Okay so, only reason I clicked was Jazmin Bean- But I watched through to realize this guy said "At least you're not a furry" and said "Naming your alters". First, A lot of furries are shit, won't lie, a lot of people just aren't finding the nice one's 90% percent of the time. Second, from what I've learned- or tried to learn- people who diagnose these things never said that in D.I.D you name your alters. Third, these videos are stupid, BUT the whole point of RUclips is to create something for views/money. This video iisssnnnttttt something to take to heart bc its just entertainment!
If your wondering who the person is their name is called JaZminBean and they make music more alt/rock music tho you should so check out their song world wide torture they also use they/them pronouns
Pixielocks is medically diagnosed with did if i remember correctly and as someone with osdd 1b which is under the same umbrella as did but doesnt include the full dissocitaion and has friends with also diagnosed did we do not usually choose the names though some people can but you cant jsut fakeclaim someone for having a name you dont like. Meet the alters type videos are usually made as a way of getting to know yourself and getting fans yo have a better understanding of what its like for you.
As someone who has torrents (nothing major like hurting myself) and I hate people who actually pretend to have them, it’s really irritating. (I’m diagnosed with it from a doctor) I might be atustic but I’m not diagnosed as of now imma probably try to see if I can get diagnosed with it (or to see if I have it on the first plane)

I'm sorry you have DID (I think that's the right thing to say I'm sorry if its not) I have gotten lucky (sorry if that offends you) and I don't have DID despite me being r@ped by my brother when I was 7. I wish you the best and I'm sorry everyone keeps faking it
At this point, I’m not surprised, why do people think this is ok to do.
With the first video, I just wanna tell you Stimming isn’t limited to autistic people. Someone who is neurotypical, (no autism, adhd, etc) can still stim , it’s normal for everyone to do.
Yes exactly
Yea on command for most people it's normal I think
Well In the way she does it of course
I have someone related to me with something like DID, I just wanted to clear something up with one thing you said in this video. actually no, you cannot name your alters, they come with their own names once they form. some alters can have weird names, others can have normal names. idk if this is different for some but based on what ive heard, I dont believe the host can name their alters. :3 no hard feelings tho, its a complex disorder so some may get things confused, have a good day x3
i know someone that is keep talking about how she’s relating so much to people that have adhd and autism, which is cool because i dont mind people labeling themselves. she doesn’t exactly self diagnoses her with adhd and autism, but it feels like the only thing she says when she is talking about herself about the adhd and autism stuff is that she is creative and aro ace
like wtf? she never mentioned anything else besides that.
ah and btw, she always is talking about the topic atm. But she started doing it only a few weeks or maybe months ago
she never was un concentrated, fidgety, disorganized, she never stimmed herself, never had problems talking, she never were monoton etc.
i dont say that she CANT have it, but it’s just weird how she is talking about this since only 2 weeks. she never mentioned ANYTHING of this in the last 4 years i know her.
@@PEANUTBROOKS she will be 19 in 4 months
Hey i just thought i'd put this out there since it was mentioned in the video, legit people with DID/MPD do not choose the names of their "alters", they don't even know they have the disorder usually because you're not in control at all if there is another personality "at front" or something like that. People with the disorder will often wake up not knowing where they are, know people they've never met, have a feeling that their body isn't really theirs, stuff like that. You also cannot talk to the other personalities, its just not how it works i don't think
If i've said something incorrect please someone correct me, i'd like to know a little more
As a fan of Mandela Catalogue, when I hear alters, I think of the alternates.
I have a friend with DID, MPD is an outdated term.
1. You can't name your alters, they have their own names, but I suppose you could give them a nickname.
2. multiple alters can front, and the term is "fronting" not "at front"
3. alters can speak to eachother
4. You don't need to put quotations on alters, that's what they're called.
5. The disorder is typically diagnosed when the system is going through a lot of stress and the switches are more obvious, it's a disorder that happens due to ongoing/complex trauma (you can look up cptsd for yourself for more info)
With more light being shed on this disorder it's easier for people to notice these changes in themselves (having amnesia doesn't mean you forget every single thing that has ever happened to you, it's different for everyone.)
Are there fakers? Yeah obviously, but fakeclaiming people with potential trauma is harmful, especially trauma that is so bad the person may have forgotten it completely due to amnesia. More accurate information needs to be made aware to more people.
Anyway, hope this helps.

I know you want more views but using a photo like that is not right.

why is Jazmin Bean on the thumbnail ? 💀💀
why is jazmin bean on the cover of the video...
do NOT come after my fav, Jazmin bean like that.
Exactly. Acheeto is using jazmin (a person with autism), to clickbait a video about autism just because they dress alternatively.

OK BUT WHY IS JAZMIN BEAN THE THUMBNAIL 😨 they’re such a good artist……
Acheeto used an image of a person with actual autism in the thumbnail to clickbait a video about faking autism.
Why do people comment on these videos like "I'm actually diagnosed with adhd and autism, also depression and bpd, also a bunch of other disorders that inherently contradict each other and that no reputable doctor would diagnose someone with together"
You are literally faking a disorder to comment about people faking disorders.

I like how they don’t even act how people with those disorders even act.
There is something I want to say about alter naming that you mentioned in the end of the video
I have seen real interviews with people that have DID and if you want some more clarification on this you can watch the interview with Anthony padilla of him interviewing a bunch of people with DID.
