    I'm still confused about the range part

      the range is just where the y stops on the graph, if it doesnt stop say, 3 is where it starts and it goes on forever, you would say y greater than or equal to 3

      I would recommend looking at the piecewise graph. The graph is continuous over the interval from 6

      Yes, but if you have a quadratic function your domain and range would be (-infinity, infinity) because it continues in all directions
