I don't know what got into me. I'm in Thranduil fever... again!
Omg, I love this character, even though Peter Jackson made something up. The story behind the Gems of Lasgalen made Thranduil vulnerable and not only a greedy elf (like in the book). Not to forget Lee Pace who slayed the performance.

The best compilation that shows Thranduil’s true character IMO. A brokenhearted elf who let his grief rule him.

Maybe you are right. I don't want Legolas to see my pain because i know it's hard to see someone you love sad.
Why can't his son understand him. King Thranduil is so perfect outside but he's wrecked inside. The pain and grief is just too much to handle. How can this ignorant lady elf who falls inlove with a dwarf she just met judge this King who had live for a thousand years and who had fought and survived countless battles. Who had lost his father and wife in an unimaginable way.

No one could see how King Thundruil was hurting for the lost of his Divine Partner, he is not hard, just hurting like hell, for sure, I have said this all along he is miss understood. Who feels it, knows it.
