Thanks for the video. When I saw steering wheel out way, WOW!... I will do this while upgrading stereo. The idea of being unencumbered by steering wheel is appealing to me.
Did you find out how to calibration? I also don't find how since my scanner or alignment shops don't know what I'm talking about, i changed 3 and lights keep coming back, my scanner shows 16 off and steering wheel is straight
Hey guys I have an 08 Trailblazer and it has a clunk in the steering wheel when going over sharp bumps. Do you think maybe it can be one of those shafts/joints inside the column revealed in this video, have come loose, needs greasing or replaced? Thanks.
@@SuperGmann10 i didn't watch the whole video with sound. Just skipped to the part where where he pulled the sensor off... but if your a 1st time DIYer maybe pulling the column would be such a bad thing. Or maybe he pulled it just for the explanation process...

wow you do not need to remove the steering wheel assembly!
Do you have to recalibrate or “reset” the sensor after replacing?

Possible intermediate steering shaft
That can be done without removing the entire column.
doing one right now, took 20 mins. no need to remove the column.
@@adamzwagerman I think these are “professional “ mechanics trying to justify the cost to the customer. “See how difficult this job is?” Lol!
