The Maine Event presented by FXR at MX207 in Lyman, Maine
A weekend full of rain and great battles! Thursday night into Friday morning we got heavy rain which caused the cancellation of Friday's open practice. It seemed like we never got a break whether it be a light mist, or on-and-off rain. On Saturday we had moments of clarity, but the tear-offs and roll-offs were in full force. On Sunday it seemed like a repeat with overnight rain producing some sloppy soil all around. With a bunch of track maintenance, some sun in the afternoon, and plenty of tires on the track, the conditions turned out to be great and formed up well with plenty of ruts and braking bumps. This was race 8 out of 25 on the day. I was in race 12, so this was the content I was able to grab while I was not racing.
