One of the most interesting characters in the entire show, not to mention one of the best fighters. Luna beating and killing him during the Conclave was total bullshit, but I guess the plot needed him to die so that Octavia could become leader of the grounders.
Bro he went up against a Natblida who trained in the same group with Lexa kom trikru. The person who already beaten him previously in season 3. Both were apart of the same novitiates. I understand your point right but they pissed off the wrong Nightblood after she lost everything. hell has no fury like a woman scorned.
@@thekidblue5716 I realize that The 100 is a show where a 90-pound woman like Octavia becomes an invincible fighter in less than a year. But objectively speaking, Roan is more than twice the size of Luna. The fact that Zach McGowan was able to bring a level of phisicality and brutality to his fight scenes that the actresses just couldn't doesn't make it any easier to buy that Luna (or Lexa) ever stood a chance against him. Again, I understand what kind of show this is, and why the plot needed Roan to die. All I'm saying is that it's as unrealistic as the sci-fi aspects of the story.
@@s_r_edits Lexa and Luna quickness, durability and precision beat Roan, you are using logic here, they are fictional characters no need to explain that a woman can't beat a man, we have characters like Black widow who beats up men daily and they are tough and way more brutal than Roan but you might say "hey the actress can't beat up a guy Scarlet Johansson weigh only 90 pounds". And there are back stories for various characters and groups like the Natblidas that explains how these characters were able to do what they can do in the show. We all know Octavia is a strong individual her mother taught her from an early age, and Nora was smart to do so because she knew one day Octavia will soon be on her own, this is how she became invincible because what happened to her only made her stronger, I'm hoping you're watching the show for the story if not then......
@@s_r_editsSwords are equalizers. That being said, I think King Roan and Luna might be the same level. The only time we really see them fight is when the other has a major advantage. Luna is either hurt, or King Roan is being burned by black rain. I think with his age (read: experience), and her special natblida training, it evens out. All this talk about "women beating men" but we've never seen any man or woman fight hand to hand combat. There's really nothing to complain about.

So nice to see that still someone does videos about this awsome and complex character! WOuld have loved to see him a season longer and get the chance to show more of his Azgeda strength instead of being used and betrayed by Clarke & Co. Although... I cannot complain. Somehow I love when my favorite characters die (which Zach does A LOT *laughs*). Thank you for the great video and the used song!
