Hey Justin, thanks for the video. One quick thing on moving blocks - you don't actually need to do the copy and paste then delete the original block. As soon as you press action, the block is in "move mode" (my term, not Line 6's!). You can then just move left and right with the joystick and it'll shift it around and rejig other blocks to fit this one in. Hope this helps! Cheers.
11:15 you wanted to go to COMMAND CENTER to setup your board to have any button do any thing you want like either an effects pedal or Snapshot 1, 2 , 3, etc or Preset. You accidentally went to Controller Assign
8:30 you need to tie the end of Path A to Path B by going to the end of the path A output and route it to path B with the DOWN arrow icon so that it creates one long signal chain. the way you have it for half of the video you have two SEPARATE paths, which is helpful if you want to have a bass AND guitar and have different effects for each but in your example you are trying to create just one long signal chain but you never connected Path A to B so your looper didnt have the amp and effects included. You finally figured it out by 8:50 though congrats :)
I have a visual impairment and working with the Helix display is difficult. But your video provides a clear, bright image that I could work with using all the Accessibility tools I have on my computer. What camera did you use to capture the Helix footpedal? Thanks!
The controls are pretty intuitive, certainly more so than a Fractal. Using them to creates good tones requires considerable study and practice, however.
I wish helix had their user interface like Boss GT100. The easiest interface that even a first timer will get it within 10 minutes. Helix interface sucks balls. I am still scratching my head with the LT.
Yeah, I was in the fence…the POD Go left me wanting, but this thing…this is the ticket for all my amp/effect ADD…and it gets SO CLOSE. I’m not selling my Vox AC15 or Marshall Origin any time soon, but pretty much anything I can dream up, the Helix nails it.
My arms don’t seem that hairy in real life 😮😂🥴👣🧸

Yes, thank you. The only thing is I don’t think it will move it to another line if you need to. I have to copy and paste for that.
Yeah I think you're right (had to check that myself), and I hadn't realised that so apologies if my initial post was redundant!
You can move it to another path as well.

It’s all easy and good to know but Helix edit on Computer is really Fun !
I've got an old laptop running windows 7, I connect up the helix to it and the programs says it cannot hook up the cable is fine any ideas
You need the correct driver. @@Theintruder100

Glad it was helpful! I just used an iPhone 14.
4:30 - if you TOUCH both buttons it will let you SWITCH the location of switches of the 2 pedals quickly
Good to know!

Totally talked me out of buying a helix
I kinda agree here
give me analog or give me death... oh wait, half my pedals are digital. THIS THING IS SO COOL!

Ok…what???
