I don't think Johnny blames Danie forl his life being ruined, he's just resentful that Daniel's life is doing so great and while his doing so terrible and does still seem to hold some grudges against him that are not really justified. Daniel wasn't showboating, he was just being nice introducing him to his co-workers, they were the ones that brought up the fight and Daniel just joshing with him the way you do with a buddy. He was truly over the beef between them and blames Cobra Kai for all of their problems back in the day. The point of the show is they are no villains just two men with different perspectives. I wonder if any of you all see sequels too or just the first move?

I predicted it and i WAS RIGHT. You guys shouldve rewatched the first 3 movies even in private otherwise this show would go over your head and it did. None of you acknowledged one of 10 easter eggs in this episodes and too many question are being asked about the previous movie. Heres one example none of you even noticed, In KK1 Johnny lived up in the valley full of rich people and Daniel lived in Reseda. In CK Daniel now lives up the valley full of money and Johnny lives in Reseda. this series really dishes out easter eggs and touches up on the past movies and without the knowledge you will just be sitting ducks not understanding why this show is a 10/10
I really liked the talk/conversation after the reaction, I've watched the whole series and I think you guys hit the nail in many things even though you were arguing against each other. I think that's what makes this series good or at least feel different, there are "good" and "bad" characters/people but at the end of the day they're just people who do good and bad things depending on their situation.

The show was advertised as Johnny being the main character and Daniel being the bad guy, but in reality it's an ensemble cast and very few people are legitimately just bad. Daniel was trying to be good by offering the work on the car for free, he just got a little cocky bragging about his win.
The show takes place in the San Fernando Valley and they did film in some areas including Ventura Blvd in Encino, but they've been mostly filming in Atlanta, Georgia.
I just realized when skyler and his friends were bullying Miguel it was like Daniel get bullied by Johnny and his friends and then Johnny saved Miguel like miyagi saving Daniel
Rob is gonna be so toxic each time Daniel and Johnny face off (which is way too many times), blindly siding with Johnny and hating on Daniel. Calling it.
In this circumstance it'll be way more warranted since Daniel is kind of a hotheaded asshole sometimes that was originally portrayed as "hero" in the original film but I feel you, It's gonna be rough lol

And Johnny..I wasn't sure what to think, but I remembered that Johnny gave Daniel the trophy in the 1st movie, and Kreese tried to choke him, so something is happening here.
