Mary Terry His roof was adjusted so that he can walk standing straight and not having to bend over. I’ve watched many videos of other people who are like them and they say the leave the doorframe the same height so the are forced to duck. If they made the frame adjusted to their height the would get used to not bending over and if they ever went over to another persons house or establishment the would forget and maybe injure their selves. So the keep the short on purpose as a reminder to duck.

That's not necessarily what happened, it's more likely it's a real accent. In many cases, the dubs in documentaries are recorded by the interpreters who translate them, and they're usually native speakers of the other language, not English, so their pronunciation isn't necessarily flawless. Could they have dubbed it differently? Yeah. But it's at least probably a real accent of someone doing the work.

I saw a documentary on the worlds tallest women. And Its sooo odd how different they experience things. He has had multiple girl friends and is married? Yao was always alone and could never find anyone because they all thought she was a freak. I guess its just more socially acceptable for a male to be much larger?
When he told that he was engaged, I got sad. I was thinking he was single and the two could possibly date lol. Oh well. Nonetheless, its sweet he took the time. And its true. You have to be positive! He has a lovely life because he doesn`t shelter himself and works with the life he was dealt with. I understand not everyone can have that same mental strength. Yao was just soo soo lonely and sad. I think she just couldn`t muster up the strength to overcome her condition and get out there and try to love her life. It`s sad, but I hope she now has some peace.
A lot of men have a complex about dating a woman who is taller than them. I have multiple female cousins who are taller than average (ie almost six feet tall). And they ALL have been turned down by guys they liked because of their height.
Women, on the other hand, tend to prefer taller men. So it's not a big deal for unusually tall men to find women who are willing to date them

@@MsBrendalina Well, I don't think it applies when you are 252 cm. That's like 90 cm more than the average person, which for the majority it's quite unattractive. I think it's more about his life philosophy and confidence. In Yao's case, being such a tall woman, especially in China must have been quite a hit for her confidence. Some times the way you grow, experience and the people that surround you build a different type of mentality. I think this is the reason why he is more successful in his relationships and his life in general.

Doesnt matter how knowledged you are on the specific accent, the narrator put that accent on whilst speaking english, making the accent part completely obsolete as he did not use it unless he was translating the man, so yeah, he could be mocking him.
