Endeavor literally caught the biggest buff in the latest update. His gamma is actually insanely busted, to the point just focusing on leveling up his gamma can turn the entire tide of the game. It can crack and down players in seconds, and even when they are in groups. The devs nerfed his alpha but the gamma buffs make him unbalanced. These are the first wins of season 6 with the new buffed Endeavor.

From a design philosophy I can understand where devs come from. Compared to other popular picks, endy has poor movement and no real defensive options hence why he had low win rates because its easy to chase one down (especially a low level one). So their thought process was to buff gamma as a "get off me tool", little did they realize this player base is one where you give an inch they take a mile and abuse it. Which results in this super knee jerk nerf reaction (on paper you would think pressing 1 button wouldn't be fun for most people since this game as a concept is all about entire quirk sets, so I can see why devs didn't think it was over-tunned in the heat of the moment). Minus the damage it still functions as a "get off him tool" because how fast it shoots out and added benefit of ignoring walls and terrain.
They could give it a really low cooldown so that you can't really spamming it in the same encounter
I disagree with the last part of your statement, Endeavor's Beta has always been a great get off me move when it's level 4 or high for him. His Gamma was & should still be his nuke move like Denki's Electric Dome that has massive hit box with mad damage, but if used wrong, he can leave him open to eating huge damage back. They should of just left this damage alone & made it's recover like it was before the buff & maybe a longer cool as will cause these new nerfs just ruin him for no reason when all they had to do was nerf him with care so he be in a good place amongst the cast.
They should’ve just slightly reduced the damage but give him a longer cooldown. Or keep the damage, longer cool down but stop the hit through walls. It’s already annoying getting 3rd partied but getting 3rd partied one shot by endeavor is a different type of pain
The game is a joke at this point, eveeyone asking for nerfs buff because yall can't dodge? Characters with 0 mobility or because they gave 1 attack that melts? Gtfo toga, Iida exploit (3 season basically),cementos etc etc what about that? Now endeavor nerfs was unnecesary the way they did it, now people want red dabi nerf too? People those characters are RED they supose to deal damage give me a break
I just hope you weren’t one of the many folks begging for a nerf just to turn around & make this post. Talking about the devs “knee jerk reaction” 😒 whatever man (Btw I don’t main endeavor I was just cool with the buff even though the gamma was f*ing me up too) made me happy to see a free character be meta. Endeavor was giving great entry lvl character for new players as well. (Also yes I’m aware of how much of a menace he was in the hands of highly skilled players) don’t care I was still getting dubs.
His level 9 Alpha is weaker than it was at level 4. Gamma at level 9 is worse than it was at level 1. I don't main him, but this nerf is clearly massive. You say that he was a top character in contrast to what the devs said, but that's anecdotal to your matches. In my case, he was rare and he'd always be easy to destroy, so we can't generalize like that even if it's a popular sentiment. It is true that the devs saying they brought him up because of low usage/win rate means that the overcorrection doesn't make sense.
Gamma damage is not still good or deadly. The numbers are sizably worse than they were prior to the buff, and the move was barely used back then for good reason. The move is made near worthless considering the location telegraph and having you frozen in place as well as knockback. It was situational before the buff and is now not as valuable in those cases anymore. The only exception is that he isn't free food for someone tanking Gamma and punishing whoever is thoughtless enough to not use it through a wall as a result of knockback.

I think they did mess with the gamma a little bit much but the other stuff that got nerfed makes it fair to were you don't get immediately melted by just one alpha and gamma
These devs are smoking something premium. 130 damage is literally less than two basic alphas from any other character.
I feel like they need to allow him to fly longer. You can make the reload time slower if it runs out but his special action doesn't last at all

these dev dont know how to balance the game. Endeavor gamma didnt need a damage nerf just a reload speed nerf. Prominence burn is supposed to be his biggest attack it should do chunky damage he shouldnt be firing it off every 5 seconds. then additionally nerfing his alpha again after already nerfing it to buff his gamma. The issue with his gamma pre buff was that you could never hit the bulk of the move due to the pre-fire time being way too long and the cooldown was too long so you couldnt really hit the move and it took forever to cooldown. first you need to fix the pre-fire to be able to properly gauge the damage of the move. its pre-buff damage wasnt bad but could be better so it was worth buffing. The cooldown doesnt need to be touched once you touch damage and pre-fire plus its supposed to be his biggest move so he should be doing it that often anyway. So last patch all they really should have done was fix the pre-fire then gauge damage accordingly for the next patch.

@tylerrodriguez8346 for the type of move that prominence burn is you definitely don't want people to be able to spam it through walls so lower reload speed is better and the trade off of reload speed is damage. If the move has low reload speed it has to have high damage or high utility and vice versa. You can also balance this with stocks but having only 1 stock doesn't matter much when you have high reload speed. In this case you have 1 stock and that shouldn't change so you balance reload speed by trading off damage. Due to the size and range of the move and the utility of over penetration it shouldn't have high reload speed plus it's his big signature move he uses to finish off villains. So you go damage over reload speed.

The only reason no one complains about denki is because he has to be in close range and the big damage part of his combo makes him immobile

You know the risk when your getting involved with Denki, plus you can punish him when he goes for his beta after the gamma. (if you got enough health left)

_ so they made his gamma really good and nerfed the alpha to give it some kind of balance

The reason they did this is because he is f2p now... if he was still on banner he would be broken, but greedy ass Bandai knew they can't have a free character be powerful, so they nerfed him so hard he's basically useless to play. So now he is a trash character to play in favor of the new child red dabi, or chisaki.

Worse, Gamma is notably worse than it was in previous seasons outside of adjustments to activation time. Knockback has advantages and disadvantages, but the damage is lower than it was before the buff.
I agree with all of y'all man, It's hard to be a fan & I've been playing since the beta.
Some of the community also figured out that you can hold down his Gamma button for about...1-2 seconds of a longer burn time
Some? Every one knows that , but it doesn't burn the enemies longer , it helps to get to others with 1 gamma easier

I like how much they nerfed endeavor idc what anybody says no character should have moves that do even close to 250 when some characters have only 250 health
I'm very grateful this didn't last a whole month because it was very broken so shouts out to the devs for that. Now my two biggest things that I'd like them to do is prevent Toga from swapping characters infinitely, and make Aizawa's alpha not have 5 different bugs 😭

There’s definitely gonna need some balancing with endy. If they’re gonna nerf is reload speed and damage on both his alpha and gamma this much, then there definitely gonna need to buff the special action, in terms of jump hight and running duration making it easier for him to disengage from fights where he is outnumbered. These nerf are definitely ridiculous especially with his hit frame and mid mobility, it’s gonna be harder to stay alive with him now.

It wasn't ever "fixed" they just changed how the glitch works. Before your bar would keep decreasing if the glitch happened, after the patch if it happens your bar won't keep decreasing and will stop at the percentage it was stopped at of 2-3% then it will recharge. Permeation is still not a get out of jail free card.
Are you sure it's bugged and it isn't you failing to actually give it proper activation time and thinking you can just seamlessly Special through stuff after skills. It's a small window, but his Special totally needs a slight window for it to activate fully or else it's half baked and you get damaged while the Bar decreases making the Permeation sound
@@LaztheLaxno trust me, it did that same thing where the meter kept decreasing but I glowed for a second and the rest of the time I was not permeating, Mirio is my main, I know what the bug actually looks like and how it activates
@@AipomBTWno like it actually started dropping my meter all the way but I was not permeating, trust me I saw the fix you are talking about on the first days of the season and it was amazing! But then it just came back, I’ll play more matches though and use the special action more often then I’ll let you know how it goes, hopefully it still works

I’m no endeavor main but I think it’s a bit too much nerf. Sure I absolutely hated being one shotted by a random ass endeavor but that nerf hits him hard. Alfa still melts so maybe he’ll be playable🌚

So now a level 9 prominence burn does the same damage as a level 1 skill a? That seems like a heavy nerf tbh but we already knew he hit REALLY hard

totally unrelated question but right now im hand drawing, adding motion and effects using capcut to recreate big scenes from dragon ball universe, so far ive done:
special beam cannon on raditz (27 hand drawn scenes)
gallick gun vs kamehameha (around 20)
spirit ball on freiza (literally 50)
goku turning super saiyan for the first time (around 30)
and gokus angry kamehameha (27)
should i continue going chronologically or should i just do whatever
The Endeavor nerfs were fine! There's no way he goes from dominating leaderboards to "dead" over night 🤣. The thing I havent seen mentioned enough, is that his gamma GOES THROUGH STRUCTURES! It's not all about the damage! It actually has really good utility catching people lacking in buildings while they are healing or reviving teammates. Can't really take cover against Endeavor.
Also yall gotta stop saying Endeavor has no mobility 😅 I get he's big and slow, but he still has a decent super jump and can literally fly 😭 You wanna know who has "no" mobility? Dabi, Ibara, Overhaul, Kendo, Momo, etc. Endeavor is fine, he's just a normal character now lol. And yes ofc there are still other's that could use nerfs like Toga, Strike Dabi, etc

That’s one of my problems I’ve been trying for red deku ever since I started (season three) but I’ve gotten every other skill set and a duplicate yellow shiggy it’s so stupid
Off topic. I actually found the Compress combat skin bug real interesting. Cause if you kept it on it would display the default butler skin, However. At the end of the matches where it shows your result's and character portrait. Compress always had a different color on. It was his default villian outfit but every now and then it was different colors. Color combos that dont exist but it definitely showed some cool ones. I saw a black and red in there. As well as a pink and black? Also a red and blue one. Very funny.
I Believe the nerf was to much on both the alpha and the gamma.
The 2 ammo lower and the cooldown reload increase was already very noticable, what mitigated it was the overtunned Gamma. But now they went even further and damage lowered the alpha very considerably and also cut way to much damage on the gamma. Endy mains can probably make it work since they have experience. But unexperienced endy players are going to have a bad time playing him.

Literally makes me not wanna play endeavour and Im an endeavour main since season 2. Like come on man I can safely say the gamma was better left the way it was season 5 . They butchered him big time. They couldve left dmg at 180-200 but just give it one hell of an extended reload time. 150 its just trash compared to facing of to a dabi that is able to chunk 250 plus in a matter of seconds and thats not including his teammates. Yeah no. Whats the point of the alpha nerf is his gamma went straight to the ground? literally makes no damn sense.
Endev gamma seems weaker than Season 5 Endev? Can't say for sure but if the multi-hit from the "overbuff" is the same with this fix, it shouldn't be a problem.

I love how people are getting mad over the gamma nerf saying it's a dead move now, you guys never used it before why does it matter so much, you were already saying it was a dead move way before the nerfs
I think *Denki* got a buff, you can now combo your gamma in to your alphas,
Also *Kendo* shield might have gotten Nerf I feel like it takes way less damage than before.

I kept my eye on toga ever since they made her duration running long asf.Even when she knocks you down and you get back up she is still running for 2/3 seconds after so basically is infinite if she gets other players to .
I think endeavor is fine now he feels right in line with the other strike characters that he is still a powerhouse at single targets but now he is a lot more skillfull in that he doesn't press the gamma button and there goes your health and shield or just alpha with aim assist or good tracking if you are on pc i feel that the community is blowing the nerfs out of proportion people wanted him nerfed not buff so when they do something that thry usually don't do and balance a character after an unnecessary buff that made him even more brain dead to play people now want to complain that he is still good make it make sense
