For SPF if love Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun SPF 50. I am 70 and my skin is dryer. This blends right in without irritation or white cast. It doesn't pill on it's own or under makeup. I use Saie slip tint, Nars foundation or Jane Iredale powder foundation over it with no problem. By the way, Lisa I love your tutorials. I need all the help I can get!
Clinique city block is amazing under make up! It’s a vitamin c, SPF, perfect alone with a concealer or under your foundation. Plus there’s always a free gift with purchase online.
The Beauty of Joseon sunscreen is amazing!! Only clean ingredients! I brought it to Italy for a month and i didnt even burn! Plus it plays amazingly under makeup! Definitely a favorite!😊
I walk three miles in humid Houston weather and the Jane Iredale powder foundation stays nicely on my oily skin! I will sweat and glow a bit because it's over 90 and sunny, but it doesn't ever look cakey and stays put!

As a heavy hooded gal who rides the struggle bus of mascara smudge on her eye lids, I found theone and only that doesn't do that. It's the Maybelline "Lash Stiletto Waterproof Mascara". It has a fantastic wand that applues the right amount and evenly plus it keeps my lashes curled all day even when we are on our boat and in the water. I have tried so many over the years and ALWAYS go back to this gem. It removes very easily as well with a cleansing balm or eye makeup remover. Thanks for sharing your tips, I will give them a try ~

Thank you so much for this recommendation! I have very long bottom lashes and everything I've ever tried gets smudged, even just eyeliner.😭 I tried the Stiletto mascara before, but it was not waterproof. I will go find it today!
I have wanted to try the Alastin but just can't justify the price for the amount of SPF. I love the DRMTLGY Universal Tinted Moisturizer SPF 46 & it is half the price of the Alastin. I find that it works well under most makeup.

The DRMTLGY tinted sunscreen is soooo nice. I can’t even imaging spending $70 on sunscreen 😮. I mostly use Korean sunscreens, so while not tinted are the BEST and very affordable!
you only get 1.7 oz of the drmtlgy for $29 vs 3.2 for $76 of the Alastin. per ounce the Alastin is still more expensive, but not by as much as when you compare the 29 vs 76 dollar amount.

My all-time favorite mascara is L'oreal Lash Paradise. I have so many mascaras from high-end to drugstore, and I still keep going back to Lash Paradise. It gives me volume and length. I love it. And very easy to remove.

Love your videos. Such a good teacher. BTW…Harben House has buy 2 get one free on their sunscreens. They carry Alastin. And something to consider is that many times a tube of sunscreen is 1.7 to 2 oz. The Alastin is more than 3 oz. You know that but for those who are interested…

I was influenced to try Australian gold tinted spf by angie hot n flashy. And biore uv agua rich by nikki larose. Both of these are amazing. Work really well under makeup also

Hi Lisa! Recently tried the new Allies of Skin THE ONE SPF 50 INVISIBLE SUNSCREEN GEL. Second-skin sunscreen for the lightest invisible protection. Been LOVING this under my makeup on my combo to combo/oily skin! I’m using Tretinoin and need the 50 SPF. This is also a mattifying and blurring primer as well. Would highly recommend! Karen

I like the Jane Iredale powder spf. It's great to use as a reapply sunscreen, stops any shine, and is water resistant. I also like to just keep it in my purse as a touch up powder, the packaging is so convenient to have powder on the go. No mess or a separate brush.

I recently got the Jane Iradell powder foundation after listening to you talk about it so much. It is pricy the first buy because of the compact, but after that you just have to buy the refills. I am 50 with dry skin and I have been so surprised at how much I absolutely love this foundation. I like the way it looks so much better than any liquid foundation product I have used in a long time. I wish I had tried it sooner for sure. Now to try more products from her line.

I just use tinted sunscreen and concealer and I find it’s enough for me. If I do want to wear foundation the Mac face and body or powder foundation works well for me in humidity
Hi Lisa, great tips as ever! For waterproof mascara I use the Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes, it's very soft and fluttery and doesn't flake or smudge and come off easily with the Bificil remover or an oil cleanser. X

Hi Lisa, I use the Skin Ceuticals Advance Brightening Defence SPF50+ all the year long because I regularly apply tretinoine. It's hydrating, undetectable and amazing under any foundation, I love it 😊

I love to use the Elta MD tinted sunscreen mixed with the Australian Gold tinted sunscreen. By itself, the AG is a bit drying, but adding the Elta makes it look a bit more natural. I get both on Amazon, if that helps.

I have been using the Alastin, with jane iredale concealer for spot conceal and then the jane iredale powder over that. Love it and lasts all day for me.
And yes not happy with the price increase on Alastin. Hoping to find an affordable dupe because I love the color, coverage and finish of it. Radiant with no shiny or overly glow.

I have been intrigued to try the DM blush at first I didn't care for her colors but I think I would choose Jublie and maybe rose in brunch . I have looked at the JI powder foundation for awhile but I can't seem to chose a shade in it. I am super worried about powder foundation being drying and sitting on top of the skin .

Dang, WAlmart Alastin price is fire! Just grabbed some. Although my favorite is color science.. more coverage, so I use it as my "foundation" so much.

I have heard Australian Gold Botanical Tinted Sunscreen is great! I'm allergic to Shea Butter so I can't try it.
I like this look and the cream blush tip, but my only concern is putting an oil on the lips seems like it could cause an accelerated burn there. But I suppose it is okay if you are wearing a hat.

I had a quick question.. If I'm using Bobbi Brown face base do I put it on after sunscreen?I use the Supergoop Daily Dose oil sunscreen spf 40 because my skin has become really dry and it gives a natural glow😊
I would use the Face Base first and cover with your SPF.
So do you always apply your concealer under your foundation? I get so confused on whether you apply concealer before or after!
For those super oily girls, Jan Marini Mineral tinted SPF 45 is amazing and keeps me matte for a long time despite the humid and hot weather. It's around $65 which sounds so expensive, but it also has 6 ounces.
Does it have shine? I'm not into a ton of shine in my sunscreen. I've been testing the Naked Sundays Cabana Clear gel, but it is so shiny I need sunglasses even after foundation is on!🤣
@@KarenGaylor4712 I was actually disappointed at first when I tried it because it TOTALLY looked shiny, but then after I applied and let it settle, I gently patted over it and the shine went completely away. I have tried J and K Beauty brands, Paula's Choice Mineral Sunscreen, and every other supposed "matte" sunscreen and I still end up a greaseball. This one actually lasts for hours which is unheard of for me. If you haven't tried the Australian Gold Botanical Tinted Sunscreen, I have heard that one is great too(I am allergic to Shea Butter so I can't try it). Hope that helps 🥰
@@user-cm9ly6lk9u that is good to know. I love the Naked Sundays colligen sunscreen. It is very thick but it goes on nicely and dries down in 10 minutes or less. I've tried many k beauty and I love a lot of them, but they all have too much shine for me. I have enough oil, I don't need to look like it so I've been looking for the perfect sunscreen that dries matte and stays that way. Tank you for this!

I would love to try the Jan Marini, but not in the budget for the moment. It isn't the price of the sunscreen, it's the cost of shipping. I will try it, tough. DRMTLGY Universal Tinted Moisturizer SPF 46... it looks great on it's own with concealer... very light coverage... looks great under makeup. This has skincare ingredients, it has not irritated my eyes as it is part mineral / part chemical sunscreen and is $29 for 1.7oz... they also have a full mineral version... but I can't speak to that one under makeup.
Here’s my unsolicited advice-we need to follow the advice of our financial advisers and make sure we’re on track for the suggested $5 million needed before retirement. We women (and men) need to assess our priorities. If $70.00 sunscreen is not going to interfere with your savings/investments for your future self, no worries. But if your shopping habits are going to keep you from being adequately prepared for future you, reassess. An invaluable gift we can give our daughters is financial acumen. That down payment on a house won’t happen if your $$$ is tied up in boxes of luxury makeup, clothes, shoes, and handbags.

I have truly dark eyes and the teint idole does nothing for me.
I didn't like the one/size too drying. It has alcohol.
I love BK brushes so I purchased the Jane Iredale foundation based on Lisa's recommendation. I have to say that this is the WORST foundation I've ever used! It made my skin feel extremely dry, like I had a mask on my face the entire day. It was extremely uncomfortable to wear throughout the day. The coverage wasn't that good either. I guess it looks much better when someone has a flawless skin. I really wanted to love this foundation, so I tried it multiple times using different moisturizers, unfortunately with the same effect. It's hard to trust in product recommendations when the influencers are motivated by profits :(
I would like to buy more brushes from BK Beauty, but your logistics for international shipping is terrible tbh. I can't buy any more until you improve it!!!
I would love not to wear waterproof mascara, but regular mascara takes the curl out of my lashes!
Drmtlgy...tinted is a bit thicker but i add a moisturizer or glow product and i lovenit. .love drmtlgy really underrated.
