Another nice little tree. Love tiny tree Tuesday . Living on a houseboat I'm limited to small trees. These give motivation to keep on with bonsais. Keep them coming. Thanks

I'm so glad the videos help in their own little way. Living on a houseboat sounds amazing, I guess the lack of garden space is far outweighed by the other benefits

Thanks Darren! your videos on this tree convinced me to go take a snipping of my barberry hedge in the lawn and try to get some roots off it. My first purchased bonsai (ficus) is only a month old to me so its nice to have some other material to practice with.

Just discovered your channel as I was searching for a good explanation of ramification. Looks like I hit the jackpot🎉
Do you watch Nigel Saunders Bonsai Zone? Your way of explaining and showing your work reminds me of his style. I’ve been following him for a number of years. I will be following your channel too, now that I have found you.
Great work! Best wishes from Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦

@@grobonsai I have a deshojo that has been developing in a basket for three years. Finally putting on some girth and branches. Then in March as we were doing up the garden a falling plank of wood decapitated it leaving no upward growth and only the two lowest horizontal branches, about 90 degrees apart when viewed from above. It was a real primal scream moment.
