  • Pave vs Solitaire Bands - Which to Choose? - 2.5ct vs 3ct Oval Diamond Engagement Ring Comparison
    Watch today's video all the way through! In today’s episode, we are featuring our 2.5ct Oval Signature French Pave vs a 3ct Oval Hidden Halo Solitaire. Which style do you like more? Let me know in the comments ;)

    Pointer #1: What is curation?
    Our Clients deserve only the best diamonds! We trust our eyes more than just looking at a certificate. You simply can't see /trust the difference between stones comparing them online. This is the true difference you’ll find working with us, making sure you’re getting the best bang for your buck!
    Pointer #2: TIPS from Bonnie when you're looking for an Oval:
    1. Ex/Ex on cert does not mean the cut is perfect. There are so many more factors that affects the overall look of the Diamond
    2. I want "No Bow-Tie". Don't buy an Oval, Buy a Round!
    3. Keep your desired length to width ratios open.
    Pointer #3: Bear in mind that the color of the metal of your setting can reflect into the stone. Two-tone settings offer the ability to have a colored band, without compromising the pure color of the center stone. Conversely, having a full setting in yellow or rose gold allows you more flexibility on the color of the stone.
    Let me know what you guys thought of this week’s video and leave a comment to let me know what I should talk about next!

    I used to want such a blinged out ring, diamonds all over the band, diamond with a halo etc. then when I actually went to have a look for some ideas I literally fell in love with just a solitaire on a platinum plain band. Something about a plain band and just that one diamond it is just absolutely stunning. I feel like the diamonds on the band take away from the beauty of the centre stone, same as here with the ovals!

      @mackaylachan402 Год назад +4

      I 100% agree! In my early 20s I wanted a ring with micropave and a halo and ended up going with a solitaire with a simple hidden wrap underneath the stone for a little detail. It really makes the center stone shine. ❤

    • @MelissaLona
      @MelissaLona Год назад +5

      It doesn’t. You’re entitled to your opinion but this idea that side stones take away from the center stone is just something people love to say that has no merit. That’s my personal opinion. Nobody look at the diamonds on the side and say omg we can’t see how beautiful the main stone is. If the main stone is the main thing, even with side stones, it will never be upstaged.

    • @Bella-sh6gn
      @Bella-sh6gn Год назад +21

      @@MelissaLona you’re not really allowing me to be entitled to my opinion when you’re claiming it’s just something people love to say with no “merit” lol. It’s not something I just “love” to say, I genuinely think a big rock on a plain band is it for me, I didn’t always, but hey taste changes! It’s also not specifically just my opinion, as I’ve known many many others to think the exact same thing. I think it takes the attention away, you don’t. That’s why everyone has different engagement rings, because we all like what we like. :)

      I am a solitaire fan also. I also like 3 stone, but I like the side stones to be small accent stones, not 3 big stones. Pave bands are not my style. They're too girly and feminine for me.

I love my rings they're stunning and because it's moissanite it's hot beautiful fire. I wanted something that wasn't on everyone else's hand. But Bonnie every single one that is on your feed I want. I'm just greedy! 😁😁 Keep bringing great content and yaaasss I want to see the stones you pass on. Bring it girl! 🥰🥰

    Hey Bonnie, I am so impressed by your expertise and the quality of your diamonds. I would love to buy a ring, but Im looking for a 0.50ct oval, since it isn’t appropriate in my country and my type of work to wear a big diamond. Is this something you would consider making? I totally understand if it isn’t worth your time. ❤️

    Actually, it is all in the way the diamond is cut if it is cut perfectly a one and a half carat diamond will look better than a 2 1/2 carat diamond, or will have more sparkle and fire to it. I hate paves & halos… they that so much of the Main Stone away from it. A couple of baguettes on the side is perfect!
