Definitely changed things, as for before the excorcists could kill a fuck ton, like shooting fish in a barrel cause nobody could fight back until carmine did.
lute literally knocked vaggie down with one hand she only used one hand and yet vaggie still struggled agaisnt her, unlike vaggie lute had a lot experience in battle so she knows her way and plus she was beating vaggies ass the entire show, even if vaggie trained by carmilla lute still handeled her
I hope they don’t but if she does become a villain in season 2 )which is highly likely) they could end up killing her off, if they do I hope she doesn’t die to a little gremlin and maybe even dies in another epic fight scene with Vaggie which would be really cool

Pretty sure she stabbed her hand because she wanted to make Vaggie be in pain first before she killed her because Lute is just kinda sadistic and insane like that. As for why she lost, it's simple. Vaggie just outsmarted her because all Lute was being was blood thirsty and angry during the fight rather then thinking with her head and just ending Vaggie quickly.
