That crashing vertibird hitting the roof of the Red Rocket truck stop Joov was sheltering in, and killing him, was funny. The vertibird crashing over the water, but instead homing in on Joov and killing him, had me split my sides with laughter. Then a bear kills him as he grabs an innocuous drink from a sink. Magnificent.

@@Joovjoov please don’t use a wheel again, it sucks for the story of a video. there should be progression to become more powerful as you go on, and the wheel removes progress and all the items you’ve created that we the viewers have become attached to. it should be a challenge but you shouldn’t be punished more for dying, getting reset to a checkpoint is plenty punishment.
Have you ever considered a no reload challenge? Each gun has one clip, once it is out you have to use another. Love the videos, you have a special and unique kind of patience haha

On the topic of the RUclips editing crisis you explained; Whatever message you think you're getting across when editing these videos, just know one thing that will NEVER be misunderstood: the time and effort that you put into making these videos that is clearly on display. Just remember that's something that will always be appreciated by your viewers regardless of how clear or not so clear your points may be. The only thing I personally care about is that you put a good amount of thought into it at all, and that will always be apparent in your videos.
My internet cut out at 34:39 and I was really, really confused for a while. Joov says "Stop stop stoooop" and then there's just silence that doesn't end. I thought it was some weird bit that was going on a bit too long.
I think part of the reason we love your challenges so much as a community is how relatable and likeable you are as a storyteller, even when the challenge itself is absolutely absurd. Great job, dude.
I took my good time watching all the vods, so when you released this, I was still in the middle of Day 6 or so. Now I am finally through with all the vods and came here to watch this masterpiece at last. And oh my goodness it was SO worth it. I think you really cut it into a masterpiece. I particularly enjoyed the intro, but I loved the ending as well. As fun as it was, I'm really glad you didn't add the castle fight #2 (after the prydwen went down) to the end. Hey Papa Joov, Regarding what you said about how one challenge of your videos is the writing. I want to express how awesome it is that you really put thought into that, to try and make your stuff entertaining not only through the already great antics you pull of, but also how you try and have everything follow like a red string. Writing, especially for things like videos, often gets a backseat during praises, so i just wanted to say how much i love it. Good writing is when you don't even notice that there is writing, and with your videos, if you hadn't brought up that you had no good segway for the castle bit, i wouldn't have even realized how hard you work on that aspect. I've been binge watching your videos, and VOD videos since I found your site a couple weeks ago. They have been absolutely brilliant, and have inspired me to create my own challenges in both Skyrim and Fallout 4. The glowing sea series is by far my favorite! I just started a Nora survival run where she is going to explore everywhere in Boston except main story locations without any followers, using only the 10mm weapon you get at the start as the weapon she can use, and wearing only a sequin, dress and fashionable glasses. If she runs out of ammo its fists. Ultimate goal is to create a thriving community in far harbor. I just love the sense of caution you have to use, food actually mattering, and things like empty bottles are greater finds than oil. Watching your videos while trying my own challenge has been fun, informative, and enjoyable. Thanks for all your hard work. You make some of the best quality videos on RUclips.

I don't do much content creation outside of when I sporadically want to polish and post hobby projects, but even with those I ask myself those same questions: What am I trying to say? and What will the reader (as I'm a writer) come away with? Will they have learned anything new about the topic, or even about themselves? To answer that last one in the context of your video, I can firmly say that your side tangent helped to elucidate me just that little bit more.
With the amount of Machinegun Turrets I like to secure the castle with, the insitute wont stand a chance, I am in fact working on a system where flamethrower traps line the hallways, so in the event of an emergancy, I can go to a certain part of the castle bastion fort, secure that place, and flip a switch to enable the flamethrower traps
I know this one was a really draining one for ya, but thank you so much! Skyrim Iron man is my favorite challenge of yours. I watched a few of the vods for this one and I felt the second hand pain of the deaths. All this to say, thank you so much for making these videos and streams! You are such a great inspiration! I'm sure I'm a bit late to this one, but at 50:03 the reason everyone was clamoring is because you fast traveled without clothes on. Both Cait and Hancock like the player for doing so, hence Hancock trying to trauma-dump on you and Cait admiring you. This game is truly something.
The crashing virtabirds chase you down because they use the same code as dragons in Skyrim. Dragons land near you so you can absorb their souls without chasing down the corpse. Virtabirds just explode. If there isn't a mod to make Virtabirds crash in less of an asshole way, there should be.
I'd love to see a colab between you and ItsJabo, love both your content and the challenge runs you both do. Would be cool to see something like a competitive challenge run between you two (and potentially other similar channels, idk). And might be a nice break from challenges that are literally breaking you :P

I used like 10 or 15 missile turrets for the “defend the castle” quest in my survival run lol. The coursers are just really wild on survival with the invisibility too
That Brink reference hit me out of no where. My cousin and I were so hyped for that game before it released. Rented it from the local video store almost as soon as it released. I remember we were really disappointed with the game, but it's still a nice memory to be reminded of.
You should consider a Fallout 4 YOLO run. The mod makes it so that you no longer get your health restored on level up. The idea is that you cannot use healing items or doctors, if you get hit that damage is permanent, if you get addicted then you are addicted for life, take some rad damage, you have cancer and permanently lose the max hp. it makes certain perks like the adamantium bones or aqua boy/girl super important early on cause if you break a limb it stays broken and if you need to swim you cannot afford to take rads. Its a fun way to play, makes you take survival quite differently and makes every enemy terrifying. Mole rats jumping around is very distressing, more so that a bunch of raiders you can at least ambush. Radscorpions are terrifying.
One thing i like about Joov is the different music from various other games he plays in his vids. It's cool to just be watching the video then be like "Hey! That's the music from 'X' game!"
Being inspired by the region locked videos I'm currently doing a space only Starfield challenge on the highest difficulty and it's painful. I came up with that challenge while boarding a high level ship not realising that low level ships give barely any loot. The rules are simple. You have to take over one of the space tutorial ships and after finishing the tutorial you drop everything you didn't get in that one battle and after leaving New Atlantis you aren't allowed to land on any planet or moon anymore. The goal I set for myself is to take out all the legendary ships but in 200 hours of playtime I've never encountered a single one of them.
The easiest way to do this would be to start by looting the easy areas around Sanctuary (Robotics Disposal Ground, Gorski Cabin, Wicked Shipping, etc) build a semi auto pipe rifle to hose down big enemies and bolt action pipe rifle as your main weapon, and then do a normal sniper play through. You don't get the suppressor for the hunting rifle until gun nut 3 anyway, so the bolt action pipe gun is your best option for most of the main story.
Preston showing up for the finale in bathrobes is only proof of his power. This man is so badass, he doesn't need to get dressed after taking a shower and can still kick the institute's butts!
I started a playthrough around the same time you started this challenge and watching the vod channel whilst playing honestly made me enjoy things a whole lot more, thanks Joov!

That Brink reference hit me out of no where. My cousin and I were so hyped for that game before it released. Rented it from the local video store almost as soon as it released. I remember we were really disappointed with the game, but it's still a nice memory to be reminded of.

You should consider a Fallout 4 YOLO run.
The mod makes it so that you no longer get your health restored on level up. The idea is that you cannot use healing items or doctors, if you get hit that damage is permanent, if you get addicted then you are addicted for life, take some rad damage, you have cancer and permanently lose the max hp.
it makes certain perks like the adamantium bones or aqua boy/girl super important early on cause if you break a limb it stays broken and if you need to swim you cannot afford to take rads.
Its a fun way to play, makes you take survival quite differently and makes every enemy terrifying. Mole rats jumping around is very distressing, more so that a bunch of raiders you can at least ambush. Radscorpions are terrifying.

Being inspired by the region locked videos I'm currently doing a space only Starfield challenge on the highest difficulty and it's painful. I came up with that challenge while boarding a high level ship not realising that low level ships give barely any loot.
The rules are simple. You have to take over one of the space tutorial ships and after finishing the tutorial you drop everything you didn't get in that one battle and after leaving New Atlantis you aren't allowed to land on any planet or moon anymore. The goal I set for myself is to take out all the legendary ships but in 200 hours of playtime I've never encountered a single one of them.

The easiest way to do this would be to start by looting the easy areas around Sanctuary (Robotics Disposal Ground, Gorski Cabin, Wicked Shipping, etc) build a semi auto pipe rifle to hose down big enemies and bolt action pipe rifle as your main weapon, and then do a normal sniper play through. You don't get the suppressor for the hunting rifle until gun nut 3 anyway, so the bolt action pipe gun is your best option for most of the main story.
