This is my favorite song by my favorite band, and as such, is my all-time favorite song. It's my favorite solo run that I've ever heard. Miyako & Midori are the best dual lead guitarists ever - I say that and will stand behind it no matter what pair you throw at me (Priest, Maiden, etc etc). Fami's bass lines are siiiick. Asami's voice is forward and powerful, and coming out of hiatus shows she really worked on it. Haruna just slams on the accelerator and never lets up with her drums. This song never lets up. The bookends of this song are a brilliant touch, kind of full circling the story (same ending on the album). The symphonic elements are excellent, yet not over the top like so much of power metal is (to me). Great reaction. I have lots of merchandise from Lovebites. I have 2 of Miyako's signature Orange amps (my early days of international ordering and I screwed up), have most of their CD/DVD catalog, have many shirts (Lovebites, Miyako), a Haruna sweatshirt, an expensive 5th anniversary denim jacket that again I messed up ordering and it's too small, shot glass, key chains, etc etc. I ended up going through Tenso. They give me a Japan address when ordering, so I can get anything that is supposedly only for sale in Japan. Yes, it's expensive, as the order gets shipped to Tenso (I pay that shipping fee), then Tenso charges me a shipping fee to send to Boston. Regardless, well worth it to me.
Yes they toured in Europe with DragonForce and Helstrom. Midori and Miyako were at NAMM in the States, Asami study dance in New York for several years. Hopefully they will tour in the US in 2024.🐺🤘
