    So much hate on this video and it is so unnecessary. The point of this video was to give out all the list of things SHE uses on HER skin to clear up dark spots. Not once did she say she uses these things every day, she specified on how many days a week she uses things. Listen folks, the disrespect was not needed.
    Other than that I enjoyed this video and think you should make an updated version!

      yeah, you're right. also about the many steps; asians(as in asian female and sometimes male stars) have the nicest skin i know and that's mostely, because they have skin care routines with 10 or more steps which they repeat every morning and evening.
      and boy i wish i had the stuff they use, like i would spend all my time on that if i had to.

    Be mindful that too much abrasion (caused by brushes like clairasonics and exfoliants (chemical or with the beads) can actually CAUSE dark marks as it makes the skin much thinner and delicate, causing it to be much more prone to scarring

    If you have truly oily skin, you have to keep at it in order to get and maintain clear skin. She did a lot, yes but I have to do something similar myself if I want to see my skin clear over time. She did her thing and shared it with everyone. And from the high number of views, we can imagine many people benefited. Thank you for passing on the info.

      Ikr. My skin would start a riot. My derm said I have combination oily dry sensitive skin. My skin peels under the greasiness. She said I can't stick to one product so basically I got stuff for oily skin for a few days then stuff for dry skin for a couple days. The time my skin feel the best is after microderm but only able to do it a few times a year. My routine is:
      Oh and it don't wear makeup I'd love for my acne spots to disappear but I still want to look like me
      Wash with boot no 7 beautiful skin normal oil skin cleanser
      Or wash with the dollar store charcoal cleanser. Yes I said dollar store or some call it 99 cent store
      Once a week or less scrub with St. Ives or Aveeno scrub
      Once a week or less use witch hazel as an astringent
      Moisturize with either boot no 7 normal/dry skin or olay active hydrating beauty fluid.
      Once a week I use dollar store charcoal mask
      I don't do all these steps everyday. I don't scrub and use an astringent on the same day.
      Daily routine is use cleanser and moisturizer that's it.

      +sheena millien doesn't matter how fundamental reading is. I already read the description and know FOR A FACT that mixing too many creams and face washes even multiple times a week will still tear my face apart. not to mention using that brush. I have one of those too and I can't use it for more than a minute at a time or else I'll crack in a million different places. over the span of a week or all at once, doesn't matter. some people's skin just can hold up.

      +Vivian Oti those products don't cost a fortune. And even if they did, isn't it worth it to invest in quality products for your skin? I have two cleansers I've been using since last year. Also you don't have to buy those products, you can shop around for products that are similar and cost less. Have a talk with your local pharmacy of drugstore clerk.

      you need green tea bags on your face. Try doing a scrub of asprin and honey. Get 3 uncoated asprin, sprinkle with drops of water till they break down (in your palm) and then add honey (raw) make a paste with your finger and gently scrub on your face and leave for 5 min. then rinse with cold water. Apply moisturizer right after. DRINK lots of water and Ginger tea for the inflammation and NEVER use hot water on your face. If you need a toner use apple cider vinegar. Do scrub once a week or as needed. Hope this helps. Try using only things for your face that you would eat. But raw honey is the best. :)

    I get RUclips is here for discussions and stuff but I ABSOLUTELY can not stand when people try to quit their day jobs and be RUclips dermatologists. Did she ask you??!!! This is her regime and She's not going to stop because you think, Oh you exfoliate too much, that's too rough for the skin. Everyone is different everyone has different needs. I have combo skin so I need to exfoliate everyday. I listened to the advice of my friend to not exfoliate everyday and I broke out worse then I ever have in years since my cystic acne years. Listen to YOUR SKIN. if the advice doesn't fit you exactly tweak it to cater to your skin. And to the people saying OMG this is tedious. Noone is telling you to do this.... I do the Korean skin care method of 10 steps before I sleep and it works for me. My friend can wash her face with cetaphil and go to sleep and have perfect skin. We all are different and have our methods. Just appreciate hers and move on....

    • @verlyndateague5618

      No, RUclips is to comment. She probably should have turned the comment feature off on this video. That's her choice. Some RUclipsrs get a lot of great feedback from the comments. She may learn something from this. You never know.
      There are a couple of black dermatologists that gave some suggestions. She can ignore if she chooses as well.

    First off, your eyes are really beautiful! But I don't think all that exfoliating in one sitting will be good for anyone. You're already using a physical exfoliator (microbeads AND Clarisonic? -- only one is fine) and you also used a chemical exfoliator (AHA -- glycolic acid). For a very sensitive skin like the face, I think this is too much. I do like that you brought up sunscreen, though. I have the same one from Shiseido and it helps with oil control plus, it has SPF50!

    Wow.....that was intense. If I "cleaned" my face like that although you don't practice it every day, my face would probably be burning after that. And it may turn red. I have hyper pigmentation as well but I'll pass on this. It seems like some of the methods cancel out others or repeat themselves. But it looks like it's workin for ya so keep it up!

    NUMEROUS times throughout the video she said she used those masks (depending on whatever one she decides to use) twice a week, along with her regular facial cleansers (twice daily) and her toner. In the description box she explains her regimen, AND yet the majority of the comments are full of ignorant people talking about how damaging it is to do this regimen when even she doesn't do this every day, twice a day. Smh. Lol. I just don't understand how hard of hearing people have to be when she was just showing us her process of ALL the products she was/is currently using. Like the majority of the people bringing up their degrees and level of understanding of cosmetology and dermatology couldn't even read a sentence in a description box, how saddening. Too busy making themselves feel special by the level of education they claim to have to realize she was just showing everything she uses. Lmfao. I hope you guys don't look at her makeup tutorials/ hauls and clothing hauls/looks and think she's gonna wear every outfit or makeup look all at once.

    Its great.The bonus of having dark skin that it's thicker than white skin.Which means less wrinkles.And also lots of beauty products does less damage.The natural melanin in our skin is a bonus too.Also less skin cancer.So bleaching skin is great because dark skin can take it.

    I'm glad this routine works for you, but this would be too much for me. Thank you for the product recommendations. I will give some of them a try. It's all about getting to know your skin. I never find a one size fits all for skin care. I take a piece from here and there to combine into my own.

  • @servantrose
    @servantrose 10 лет назад +25

    First off, everyone IS different. Secondly I know not everyone wants to stop eating piles of sugar and alcohol... but overall I have found that simply drinking more water, less soda and other junk (candy, etc.)...more vegetables and having less toxic products (shampoo, lotion, etc.) has made my skin 100% better. My skin was much worse than hers - embarrassing! little kids would ask me what happened to me. and not having money to buy all that fancy stuff. occasionally I'll do a mask from just oatmeal ground up with water. I use african black soap (the real stuff, it's actually pretty cheap) and shea butter with coconut oil as my moisturizers. I barely need any makeup anymore. it wasn't over night as my body needed time to detox, but I'm so glad. I don't have to waste money on tons of products or time doing this routine a couple of times a week. I'd really encourage people that was like me with constant black and white heads, blemishes and spots that just wouldn't go away and if they did a bump would come and the cycle would start again - Try going more natural and lessening your sugar and coffee, etc. Lasting effects. If that's what's happening on your skin (your body's larger organ) just think of what's going on inside of you?

    • @hellohey000
      @hellohey000 10 лет назад

      You are absolutely right. I use baking soda as a scrub and mask and it works great for me. Its all about what works well for your skin and to find that out you need to experiment. To each their own😊

      @1977ver 10 лет назад +1

      Do you use the Dudu soap? If so, how many times a week do you use it?
      I've tried using it on my face quite a few times but always have to stop (as it is too harsh for my face), leaves it sore. I just use it on my body a few times a week. Brilliant soap.

    • @servantrose
      @servantrose 10 лет назад +1

      yes I think it takes a while to get used to like most natural products it causes detoxification, which doesn't feel great. This ends after a few consistent applications. I use Raw African Black Soap from Ghana, and I try to daily. BUT that doesn't always happen. I also use Grandpa's Shea Butter Soap www.vitacost.com/grandpas-bar-soap-moisturizing-shea-butter-with-lavender-and-vanilla which is all natural. Probably less detoxing with that. I think the point is to clean without chemicals and make sure you moisturize. That way your skin isn't dry and your body kicks in the extra oils but this usually leaves too much and causes clogged pores.
