I see a cheap price. 11 so
That can't be right
That is beautiful. I have a nice slab in a tripod frame holder.
I noticed your pendant sold or at least no longer on your site. Great work🙌
Looks more like orbicular rhyolite... never overlook parking lots! I've found a few huge agates in the landscape rock on many occasions.
There were tons of fossils in the driveway gravel at our old house
I found emeralds and rubies in gravel near a parking lot.
@@spernt I think you meant to say you found green and red rocks in a parking lot 😄

Me Too!
It's such a strange coincidence - I was talking to my (now teenage) daughter today about the first thing she ever gave me.
When she had just learned to walk, I took her out into the backyard and let her go exploring.
She found a small rock that I guess she must have though looked nice, and gave it to me.
I still have it, and while I was talking to her about it today, I idly wondered if it could be made into a piece of jewelry or something.
How strange that your video showed up in my feed today. I have never really watched this type of thing before, so I have no idea why it was in my feed to begin with.
Anyway, I really enjoyed the video, so now you have a new subscriber :)
That is awesome! Almost makes you think people are listing to our conversations online. If so im glad they sent you our way!
I love rocks they’re beautiful no matter what the type is . Thank you for sharing.
I totally agree! Thanks for watching!
Ty for sharing! The first time we were leaving a Drs appt and hubby saw me looking 👀 out the window and said- are you looking at the rocks?! HAHA, yes! You and another take me along and have graciously shown me what can be found & achieved. Used to only look in certain areas, like beach & river beds. Not any longer ;) Also went straight to Etsy, but was sold. Congrats to the new owner, just mesmerizing gorgeousness 🌻
Thanks! More stuff coming on Etsy in the next week or so!
Nice find😊 Good cut, policy and mount for the pendant. Thanks for sharing.
I openly admit, since following your channel my eyes are always on the ground! Cool find. Rotten luck with the circle cab. Have a good weekend 😀
Thanks, you too!
Just becareful of lampposts then!🤣😂👍
@@RockhoundingLifeMaybe you could make earrings out of the two halves?
Wonder if you could turn halves of circle into cool earrings, I love this stone.
- THE SCRAPS COULD BE MADE INTO TINY RAW STONE EARRINGS …
Very nice stone ! great job
Thank you! Cheers!
That turned out to be beautiful.
That’s beautiful! Fascinating to see how you made it!
Thank you very much!
1st. Nice work. Turned out great.
2nd. I'm sure I speak for a few others when I say. Please take it easy on advertising the parking lot finds. Granted there is alot of rock out in the world. But only so much in town. Lol😂. It makes rock hounding a bit easier for the kids to find a quality stone at accessible distance, etc, teaching and all other benefits implied. Some people will use and abuse this to a point were no one will benefit from it. For my own personal collection. I still prefer to go out into the wild. This has made teaching my daughter aspects of it all, sooo much easier. She's still little. Thanks for your consideration and for your contributions to our world of rocks. 😁
Thanks! I'm going tp have tp disagree with you on advertising the parking lot finds. There are more rocks in the city than anywhere else. There are literally hundreds of spots like the one i showed in this video. There are some people that cant get out to beaches and i like to give them other options for findimg beautiful rocks. Im against not sharing locations. Everyone deserves the chance to see and hunt for cool rocks. Some people dont have the means to find those places.
@RockhoundingLife I digress. I had completely overlooked that aspect. Good lookin out. Still yet. Thanks for your consideration. 😁
well shaped, well polished. nice setting
I've been doing this with a flat lap for two years now and I'm not that good yet.
But seeing these inspires me.
Thank you for showing this.
Thanks for watching! I use to use the flat lap as well to do this. The grinding wheels make it much easier to polish
OMG...It's so fun..."jewelry" - ha ha ha!
There’s beauty everywhere.
You NAILED IT!!!!!
Never seen that before. It is gorgeous!
I love hunting in the selection of rocks at drive thrus and such...makes my little hounding heart sing
Good choice of cabochan "frame": gold color perfect with this red.
I believe it's Birdseye Rhyolite, which is softer than Jasper. Nice parking lot find. Now every one of your subscribers will be walking around looking down. LOL
That’s exactly what I was thinking, including me 😂
. . And me !!! 😄
Very nice, my eyes are alway looking to the ground. I find all kinds of stuff.
You and me both!
So gorgeous rough...but mesmerizing to watch the process man this made my night !😂
You're a great artist! Thank you so much for sharing. It looks stunning! The only negative is that you've got me suffering every time I saw you cutting the stone. Please be careful and wear some protection. This world needs your hands!!!
Thanks for the kind words! To ease your mind on me cutting my hands please watch this short....ruclips.net/user/shortsqf8abF5eVbU?si=GNl7kIcLOLLeI5td
uff! what a relief! 😅 Thank you for explaining. @@RockhoundingLife
Thank you! Such a relief to see the info on the blade!!😅😅
Only excellent skills can bring the most beauty out of any stone - Great work!! I have my gr.ma's bracelet that has a similar stone that I cherish. Thx for sharing your talent with us!! God Bless You! 🤗🇺🇸
Wow, thank you for watching!
That pendant was so awesome! That was a great find in your world landscaping rock! You have a great eye to be able to have spotted that rock 😁 n all the other her rocks! I would go through all the landscaping rock on the premises now! Gorgeous! I went straight over to Etsy after seeing the video and it's gone! Man it was gorgeous! Great job Jason!

He's probably spotted it before and it probably stood out wet?😂😅
Beautiful! Very nice work! I’ve always been fascinated by rocks.
Thank you! Cheers!
My daughter brought me a small rock from Ireland, because I love interesting rocks! They are an inexpensive way to bring home a small piece of any land.
I’m always looking for cool rocks. I know when I people see me puttering around they think “what is HE doing”!!
I feel the same way?
Great find in a parking lot! Beautiful
Yes it was!
Really beautiful.well doneNan87👍👍👍👍🤗🇬🇧
Thank you! Cheers!
At first clicking on your video I thought it was Mary Ellen Jasper. Now, I am not sure. But its cool.
. . . Stunning !
WOW! It’s beautiful! Deserves a better setting though!!!
That's Beautiful!!!!
Very Bea find an wonderful piece to wear
Yes indeed!
❤ that came out really 😍 beautiful. It also looks like peanut Jasper. It can look like red roses 🌹 floating in the night sky ...😊
That's exactly how i would describe it!
That's awesome. It's nice find at work! Sorry about the circle cab! Thanks for sharing!
DID U KNOW THAT BRASS PULLS IN ALL THE ENERGIES EVERYWHERE FOR HEALTH, GROWTH, HEALING, STRENGTH, TRANSFERENCES, HAPPINESS, JOY,

My wife is from CA and I took her agate hunting in Duluth,MN for agates,we ended up staying there 4 years....crazy find!
Agates mist have been good to stay that long!
I have an old rock like that!! You did a great job, congrats!! 🙋♀️💙✝️🇺🇸🇮🇱
Now you must find "the one",...that got the cash & will buy it.
OK😮wow! I'm impressed! Amazing work my dude, keep up the great rock work!💪👍👍
Thanks a ton!
Beautiful!
Beautiful pendant..loved watching the transformation..I'm in Australia 🦘❤😊
Thank you! 😊
Ive never seen or found this type of Jasper. I love it. Great job.
Thank you so much!
Just beautiful.
Thank you very much!
When I first saw it, I thought it was alkaline granite because the red looked so much like feldspar. But without obvious quartz, it can't be granite. Mohs hardness of the red would tell feldspar vs. jasper.
I found cool stones in the front yard of Dollar Tree lol in their landscaping of big rocks
Nive! They are almost more fun to find!
That’s is gorgeous! Now I’m checking rock beds lol
🇨🇦Amazing!! Love it!!
Thank you! Cheers!
I always look through these rocks! Found some really cool pieces!
Nice work it looks great!🙂👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks for the video I have a fascination with rocks for some reason No always pick one up when I see one that looks interesting
Thanks for watching!
So Pretty!😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Very beautiful!
Really nice work!
I have found some of my prettiest rocks in parking lots lol
Very nice find!
That is awesome!
Red poppy!
Beautiful stones! Why don't you freeform your stones instead of cutting circles, unless of course you're using pre-made settings? Years ago most of the stones I cut- polished, I freeformed & set them into handcrafted sterling settings I created.
Those red orbs look a little like hematite. I find a lot of them on the beach in a calcedony matrix. If you've ever seen botryoidal hematite, it forms little balls, often with a quartz center. The red color is a little muted so you are probably right & it is botryoidal red jasper in some sort of brecciated basalt. Cool find.
Interesting! I miss-identified the red orbs in the video. It isnt jasper but feldspar. Once it was polished it was clear it was feldspar. It was also very soft through the saw.
Very cool!!!!
Very cool
Oh,thats really beautiful💕
Thank you! 😊
I like using my dremel for this
Rejeki tidak kemana walaupun di tempat parkir🎉
Beautiful 😘👍😘
Thanks 🤗
My aunt would find jasper rocks on beaches of WA state.
It's beautiful. Now make one for your employer!
Could you list or do a video on all the tools required?
Yes i can do that. For now, here is a quick list of what I use:
1. I make the slabs with my 10" Hi Teck Diamond slab saw.
2. I use a cab stencil to outline the cab on the slab.
3. I cut out the cab stencil.using my CabKing 6" trim saw.
4. I edge grind and surface grind on my 8" cabking until the cab is finished.
love it
Really beautiful cab, turned out awesome
Thank you! Cheers!
Very nicely done 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you 👍
It surprising what you can find, my neighbour had some new stones put down on her garden.
Looking closer it was a mixture of red and orange jasper and fossils... Mixed in with the normal stuff. My 4 year old granddaughter loves coming over for a hunt.
Rock gardens are great little hunting spots. I once found a partial fern fossil at a play ground in pea gravel?
Awesome ❤❤❤❤
Thanks 🤗
It is very beautiful!
Thank you! Cheers!
Ooo nice find!!! ❤
Thanks! 😊
Ty
They look like poppies! (says the non-rockhound)
Yes I was thinking the same thing. A string of poppies
Very neat! I’m no lapidary. Just a casual collector here. So of course I followed this shop on Etsy!
Absolutely beautiful job on the pendant.
Thank you very much!
Absolutely❤ amazing job
Thank you!!
That's gorgeous!
Wish we could share photos here, just got in from a mile or so beach walk looking for jasper and carnelian...found some interesting stuff for jewelry making in winter...when it's too cold to hunt.
Very nice piece! ❤
Thank you! 😊
I hope you make some smaller pieces in the future. 😊
This is amazing! Wish I could do something like that because it seems SO COOL to be able to pick up rocks and make beautiful items. I actually thought the big slab would be the one to crack with that fissure running down it, but it was the little one. Going to check out your Etsy store later today! And subbed!
Thanks for the sub amd welcome! The etsy store was cleaned out after this video. Im in the process of restocking it. Should be new stuff up in a few days.
😅so cool it came out beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
That's a really amazing rock.
I found some similar stuff the other day, it was from a Supervolcano lake crater.
We sliced some of it up too.
Amazing to find it in the carpark.
Very cool!
I'm a rock hound!
Geewizz... I had to stop myself from shouting 'your fingggers!' 🙈

Great idea!!
Very nice
Thanks!
Hi, it's beautiful. I always feel sheepish finding rocks in a parking lot, like I should ask permission or something. But this was your employer so it's all good. I don't see the link to your Etsy Store....
Thanks! Here is the link to the Etsy store:

Nice stones are where you find them.
It might be Jasper, an Indian favorite for arrowheads..
