I wouldnt call myself a professional artist right now to be honest cuz I still feel like I'm weak in a few places but im only 3/4 years into my art journey right now and once you get to this stage, it's nice to look back on your old work and see how much you've improved. I think that's one of the most enjoyable things about being an artist😊😊
Personally I don’t understand why beginning artists are so concerned with “finding their style.” My view is that their priority should simply be to practice and get better, and the “style” will develop naturally. I’ve been drawing since I was 9, and it wasn’t until I turned 20 that I actually “developed” my own style, because I needed to. It was never a concern of mine until I became a freelance artist and started to get paid for my work. If you’re just drawing casually, I see no reason to be so concerned with it.

I agree with you when you said about using simple art supplies in the beginning.I started out with a pencil , a sharpie fine liner and a few markers.It helped ,y art development and I gradually got more art supplies.btw I love your art so much !💗Shea

Copying someone else’s work helps a beginner get comfortable with the lines, curves, proportions, etc. It also builds your confidence in drawing as well as help you identify your struggle areas. I couldn’t draw actual ppl to save my life. They would come out looking like monsters 😂 but, now they actually look like ppl. Still have a long way to go tho but, I am closer to being better at it 🙃 Sn: bullet journals are really helpful to draw in if you struggle with proportions like me 😂 Good video! TFS 💜

Amazing video! your sketch technique is great! At the moment I am trying to experiment with different Prismacolor pencils to try and figure out which one works best for me. I believe that the verithin selection allows for the smoothest blending though it is the lightest in color. Keep up the good work! Blessings!

I got mine by watching little kid videos then I watched RUclips and picked up little things from their style and I used it and now I am fluent in realism, cartoony, semi realism and some abstract.
I tried realistic drawing and doodles. But I still don’t have a clue of my art style. Like which path of drawing style should I go. Anyway, thank you Natalia for your good advice. I hope it will work for me😊
My method is just trying whatever, started with something obscure like a scribble and keeping things sketchy. My personal appeal is more jagged and sharp feeling lines. It gives me a more looser mindset and if it turns into something I like I take it further until it feels like I can’t add anything else.
