It was Terry’s lick, that was Sammy’s take off on it.
Thank you, very nicely done video. Its great when the licks are shown being used in a song.
Re-visiting this lesson after several months. It is still good!
I think this detailed instruction is working for me! Thanks, Gina!
Cool chick teaching me banjo licks . love it !
I just happened upon your teaching videos this morning.I like how you teach by phrases & that you don’t spend a lot of time answering comments 😂
Thanks Love swampy sounds
Smoking I'm going to try it thanks for sharing
All the way from 'Down Under ' 👇..Great teaching , fantastic licks , please keep them coming! 🙏😁
So glad to stumble across your content. I used to watch your video of Randy Lynn Rag at a banjo competition many years ago for inspiration.
awesome. any chance you can write the music out for us? Yes, we'll pay.
I'm just coming across your teaching. Very good technique. I look forward to seeing your other lessons. Thank you.
I don' t play well known "riffs" note for note, i make up /improvise alot. may be why other musicians don't play with me.
Loving this video, please can you do playlist of you banjo videos as I loving the banjo and will watch more Ma'am.
Good stuff, Ms. Furtado!
That was sick!
Thanks for this! It sounds like lick #1 starts on the off beat. Correct?
what drum machine are you using that has a voice count in?
It's a website called Strum Machine. Great learning tool! You can set the tempo, key, and it has most bluegrass songs in stock, but if not you can punch in whatever chord progression you like.
What tuning are you using?
Lick #2 I would attribute to Terry Baucom more than Sammy Shelor.
Are there tabs any where
Good sounding licks but you’re banjo needs tweeking
