Hi LeeHomestead - so glad I stumbled across your channel, absolutely LOVE this and your other videos, getting so much inspiration from them during a really difficult time, thanks so much. Wishing you all the best for your channel, you're really good so I can see it taking flight...
You could mix some resin with black mica power and use that as your bottom layer. It needs to be very thin so that you can let that dry and then put your charm and clear resin on top.
I really like this uv resin. It comes in a bigger container, so it lasts longer. UV Resin - Improved 500g Crystal Clear Hard Ultraviolet Curing Epoxy Resin for DIY Jewelry Making, DIY Resin Mold - UV Glue Solar Cure Sunlight Activated Resin for Casting & Coating, Craft Decoration a.co/d/cGpoax3
You can sell these earrings for many different prices. It depends on what area you live in. If you sell online you can get a higher price. Anywhere from 10-20 dollars a piece. Where I used to live I sold them for 15 dollars in a consignment store I sold at. I hope this helps! It really helps to experiment with where you are selling at.
Sorry, me again! I’d say 70% of the time I put stuff in my mold, I pop all the bubbles then when I cure it I have either one or two huge bubbles/holes or a bunch of small 😢 I’ve wasted soooo much product because of this. Any suggestions? Really appreciate it! Thx Lee ❤
@@3723tina Try picking the mold up and gently knocking it on the table a couple times to make sure the resin is all settled correctly. Then as it starts to cure watch the surface to see if any bubbles surface. The type of resin you use it’s important. Some produce more bubbles than others.

Do you ever do any glow in the dark? Wondering if those sell
I’ve never tried glow in the dark before. They would probably do well around Halloween time!
thank you! That’s super helpful. I’ve only used one type of resin because it’s my first go so I’ll try another brand also. What do you recommend?
I put all the resin and other supplies I use in the description of each video. Sometimes I use uv resin and other times I use epoxy resin.
What brand UV resin do you use?
I really like this uv resin. It comes in a bigger container, so it lasts longer.

I am looking for metal Christmas charms and can’t find any without the ring at the top. Do you have a suggestion where to look?
Sure! I’m an Amazon associate so I will give you a link to some: amzn.to/3LTgPuc
