    Loved this. Especially the things I'd not seen done before, like the use of a feather (wasn't sure how that'd look...was afraid of too many air bubbles) and the use of the saran wrap for watery texture. Cool ideas! Many thanks!

      Pam Miller Thank you! There was a few bubbles in the feather one but I think if I’d have dipped it in resin first that would have gotten rid of those 😊

    Some great ideas here. I'm wondering if you're aware that they make a newer product now just for transferring nail foils. It's a gel nail foil glue. You just paint it on and cure it. It stays tacky enough for the foil to transfer well, so you don't have to mess with adjusting the cure time. It's clear as well. Thought you'd like to know. Thanks for the tips!

    I have these same molds and I use to do nails in my younger years so I have a lot of nail decor that I have been using but my pieces are not turning out. I see that you pour a layer and then dry and then add another layer. I will try that. The sphere/ball how do you get it withput a hole in it. I made a sphere and I ended uo with a big hole in it. I thought I had got it filled up totally. Also my rings and bracelets end up having a dent all the way around it. Im having trouble knowing how to fill it up fully. Any suggestions? Your pieces are beautiful. Thank you for sharing them. I found your videos last night and am glad I did.

    Question, what can be used as a mold if someone doesn't have the rubber molds? I got a pack of resin on a whim not realizing it needed rubber/silicon molds. If I need to get 1, I will. But, am hoping I can use something at home. (Beautiful work - I loved the flowers!)

    • @resinweirdos358
      @resinweirdos358  4 года назад +1

      Charisma Lyn yes you can use other things as moulds if you don’t have any, I’ve made a few videos using no silicone moulds, it really depends on what you want to make, you could use pringles lid, plastic drinking straw, or ptfe tubing which you can get in different widths or you can even use a hot glue gun to make a shape , you can use wax paper/ parchment paper to protect surfaces if you don’t have a silicone mat or old chopping board. You can find lots of pretty silicone moulds really cheap on eBay and AliExpress too. Hope that helps, thank you 🥰

      Ilqa Attique Thank you so much, I’m glad you like it. I bought a pack of mixed grit sand papers, sorry I don’t remember what grit they are, I personally hardly use them now. Depending on how your pieces turn out most of the time you don’t need to sand. You can trim overhanging bits with scissors then use a thick nail file if needed, then do a thin coat of resin or uv nail gel to give it back a nice glossy shine 🥰🌈

      Gail Friars this mould has it so the hole is ready for you but when I have to make a hole I normally use a small hand drill. Thank you very much 🥰🌈

    Thanks for sharing these very nice unique resin pieces, so how long are these curing under the UV light?

    • @resinweirdos358
      @resinweirdos358  4 года назад

      Melody England most small pieces take between 1 and 3 minutes but it takes longer for some than others depending on size, colour and some uv resins can take longer too. Thank you very much 🥰🌈

    Hello! I have a couple of questions, the first one is each time you put them under the UV light are you only doing them for 10 seconds at a time? And are the squeeze bottles reusable?

      @resinweirdos358  4 года назад

      No that’s just a picture of my lamp, each piece varies in how long it needs to cure under the lamp. Normally between 1 and 3 minutes depending on size and colour. I’ve never reused the colour uv resin bottles but I think you probably could, but not entirely sure because I never have. 🥰🌈

    Hai, it's so pretty and wonderful.. yet I have a question.. what did you use to hook the resin charm to a necklace? Because the hole is pretty deep and small.. I'm so confused.. thank you in advance
