The silicone is fine. You need to leave it before pouring for most of the bubbles to rise or use a vacuum pump to degas it.

Hello ! I'm looking to tint my PU rubber silver/metalic grey. however, I cannot find anything that doesn't cure inhibition. I've tried acrylic paint (it cures but leaks yellow oil), mica power, silicone pigment paste, resin alcohol inks.... I'm out of ideas. I noticed that your casting have a metalic shine to it. Do you mind me asking what did you use ? Thanks !

Yes, this is very helpful. I’ve started making little things with resin and I get a headache and my stomach starts to feel nauseous. I thought that a fan would be enough to move the air but I need a good mask. The hospital style like we had to use, (you know when) Definitely was not enough.

I found this mould on Amazon a while back…I did not know it was a rip off of someone else’s creation! It makes me sick knowing this now…

For a start do not use metal on silicone if you scratch your mould the resin picks it up.

I don’t understand why you used the glycerin oil? And suggested pvc glue if you didn’t have the oil… ? Seems like the glue would ruin it?
