I think the game favors new F2P accounts but as your account gets older I feel like they do tend to become more "bad luck". I used to get a ton of good rare cards when I started but now even a 3 diamond is rare for me. But, I started an account on my mom's phone yesterday and suddenly she gets all great rare cards lol.

When the game started, I had a 5 f2p alt accounts, and whenever them open 10-packs, NONE of them has any sparks during 10 packs opening, and no EX I don't know why. But they have better luck when open single packs.
My son's account got 1 immersive Palkia, 1 rainbow rare Darkrai (F2P), 3 exs and some 1stars from 30 packs opening from hourglass. Mine(spends cynthia set) got 2 immersives for both Dialga and Palkia. 1 rainbow rare pachirisu, 1 2star mismagius and 1 pachirisu exs. My other 2 account no immersives and some exs. 😂 So, all pulls are random. 😅 But having all immersives is good enough for me. 😊
I got 2 Dialga 3 stars and 1 Palkia 3 star on day one with 400 pack points and no money spent on the game so it’s possible even if you don’t spend money.

It's certainly possible. Other games are known to do similar things. I wouldn't say this is definitive proof yet.

Agreed, singles give 2 stars often than 10 packs for me
In my case I got 9 1-star and 3 Ex for 42 envelopes, which is not bad but I expected at least one 2-star card or better. F2P

I think this is based, you would need to open thousands of pack to begin having decent data to back up your claims.
Less a claim and more just presenting entertaining preliminary data.

I have two f2p accounts . One is always more lucky than the other. Even in coins and cards while playing. Whale vs f2p i can understand.
