  • As you know I love a braid-out! I've managed to be able to get to my braid-outs last for 10 days or more sometimes! So I wanted to share my tips and my day to day hair routine to show you exactly what I do morning and night to maintain my hair. This can also be applied to twist-out hair.
    I used my favourites for the braid out:
    Camille Rose Curl Love Moisture Milk
    Camille Rose Almond Jai Twisting Butter
    Camille Rose Curl Maker Gel
    (UK) You can purchase Camille Rose products from Boots, Sainsbury's, ASOS, LookFantastic and Beauty Bay.

      Thank you!.. It takes me around 30-40 minutes to braid up my hair.

    First off I absolutely love your content and look forward to whenever you post a video! I have tried doing the mini pineapple method for my night time routine but my hair seems to become overly stretched in the back and it is too short to throw up into one puff. Do you have any tips? Would it be okay to just cover my hair with a bonnet and go to sleep? Thank you in advance❤️

      Hey! thank you so much. Glad you find it helpful!
      Yes, sometimes I do just throw my bonnet on without putting it up in a puff. I do find that this means I have to do a bit more work to make it look good the following day. but if my hair was shorter, this is definitely what I would do. you could also try putting your hair in multiple sections. Maybe 4 sections, that way your hair will reach the hairbands and won't get too stretched on the back. x

    How do you wear your hair to work or out while the braids are drying?

  • @wolfie1027
    @wolfie1027 Месяц назад

    Lmao! I would be so claustrophobic doing this. It would drive me crazy wearing anything overnight.

    Your braid outs are always just juicy! 🤣💕 I think I need a 2nd product after I apply my leave in milk because my definition literally vanishes after day 2...

    • @AbbieCurls
      @AbbieCurls  2 года назад +3

      do you mean you'd need 3 products in total? Because I used a product after the leave in milk. I used the almond jai twisting butter for definition

      @afroretro_Selina 2 года назад

      @@AbbieCurls I use 2 products currently. Yes I need 3 in total! I use a leave in and grease as a sealent🤫 then braid...but the definition isn't great 😕 after day 2..just allot of volume. I think I need a second product with some hold like the butter you use.. 💜

    So technically your hair only lasted 4 days because you had to rebrand it on day 5.

    When you do a rebraid do you brush your hair at all?

    Hair milk instead of leave-in conditioner or in addition to?

    • @awalker916

      I use the Moisture Milk as the leave-in topped by the Almond Jai Butter.

      The Curl Love Moisture Milk is used as a leave in conditioner. The products shown are the only products I used

    You are beautiful and so is your hair! Thank you for this. I’m going back to braid outs as it’s too cold for wash and gos! I hope you keep making videos. You have a lovely speaking voice. God bless you!

    Thanks so much for mentioning the brick method in your last updated braid out video! It makes so much sense and I want to try it from now on. Also, you make me want to get a wide tooth comb now! I've been using an afro pick for more volume, but I'll try it out. I was going to ask, in your last braidout video you did less braids compared to video, were you aiming for more definition this time? I'm just curious

    • @AbbieCurls
      @AbbieCurls  2 года назад +2

      Hey. Yes! The brick method makes a lot of difference to how your hair will lay when you take down the braids.
      Regarding the amount of braids, I did more this time than last time. I've started to do more braids because they dry faster, and because I found my hair lays better when I take the braids down when I do more braids. And yes, I also get more definition

    When you do the rebraid do you add in leave in or just the twisting cream?
