YES WE ARE!!!!! 🤣 I only get a relaxer 3x a year now. I always tell people Im WOKE AF, IM PRO BLACK AF, BUT LIVING IN LOUISIANA HUMID WEATHER trying to maintain a natural is a problem I dont need. Yet, it is always the chicks with the natural hair that is hidden under their weaves, wigs, and extentions , that question me about having a relaxer. 🤣🤣🤣
Natural hair is trending a lot nowadays, I am a natural, but I must admit that ur hair is so beautiful and healthy and u look so content with it. I donno, maybe I may texlax sometime.. Lol,
I’ve never done a braid out on my relaxed hair but I’m definitely going to try this protective style. I just started following you & i have so much confidence in getting my hair to where i need it to be. Thank you so much 😊
I discovered braidouts about 3 years ago and was re-born! LOL. I just love your video - folks, it really is that easy. Just follow the over-night, pineapple instructions and it will last at least 3 days. If I do it on freshly washed, air dried hair - I can make it last for 4! Curls without heat is the way to go.
Just relaxed my hair for the first time since 2014 and I am very happy. I have always experienced breakage and my hair never growing past my shoulders but I feel with my hair being relaxed now, it shall be easier to maintain and treat! Praying my journey goes well! So glad I came across your page! 🤞🏾
I followed you for awhile on your blog and then it disappeared, or you stopped posting...idk....either way I FOUND YOU! I am so happy I did. It's hard to find good relaxed hair tutorials these days!
Beautiful. I’m 10 months post but missing my relaxed hair terribly. My braid outs look trash so far on my transitioning hair. Still now sold on fully transitioning may just end up being a super long stretch
I love braid outs and I do them weekly because I am relaxed and I work out so straightening my hair is out of the question unless I really want it straight
I was looking for a comment that addressed this style as a workout-friendly style!!! Thnx so much! What do you all do to maintain it at night? Do you plait it back up every night?
@@brandyelisea I am no longer relaxed but I still love the braidouts. I sometimes do the pineapple if the braid out was really defined, if not I will do two french braids to keep the look for a while
I love this!! I haven’t had a touch up in a while with everything being closed due to the pandemic and my stylist still isn’t seeing clients, so this style will be perfect and easy👍
My hair in transitional phase from relax to curly and this procedure is so helpful to fix it to have natural look. Thank you sister for your help. Love from Kuwait.❤🇰🇼👌
Sheltering in place and haven’t been to the salon so this was very helpful. I didn’t think I could do it but my daughter and hair stylist said I did a pretty good job! Thank you 🙂
Thank you so much for posting this! I kept finding videos of how to do natural hair and then trying to do them on my relaxed hair with some... Interesting results! I also am kind of over crochet braids - at least for now, since I'm not that great at neatly parting and cornrowing my own hair so this is perfect!
I do the “pineapple method” so I pile all of my hair at the top and put it in a secure bun overnight. It could be the products you’re using too. Don’t give up.
I have not used Cream of Nature's products yet...I have relaxed hair but I use regular lotta body for my braidouts. it works very well as long as my hair is freshly washed and I have not had a relaxer for 8 to 10 weeks . I only get a relaxer 3x a year now and this style definitely allows mine to stretch too. GREAT VIDEO. WILL try Cream of Nature soon too.
O! M! G! I love this style!! Absolutely gorgeous! How long did you let your hair air dry before doing the braidout? I'm not sure if my hair should be dried completely or still a little damp. Thanks for another great tutorial!
Hello!! New subbie here. I’m newly relaxed but still like to have my wavy curls too. I love your results and was wondering, did you blow your hair out first?? Our hair seems similar in texture so I’m glad I found you! ❤️
I do my relaxers at home with the help of my sister. I use ORS olive oil relaxer. Check out my Q&A video on my relaxed hair. Everything I do it in that video.
Hello there, thanks for always posting such great content. You're my go to for anything hair related. I have a brazillian brlowout on my hair as i'm transitioning and it makes my new growth easier to manage. Although I try not to use parabens and sulphates in my hair, my BBD means that can't. Is the Creme of Nature Mousse that you use in your video sulfate free? I've been inspired to give braid outs another go using your process. Thanks x
Hey Beauty! Love Love Love Braidouts!!! But it always seem to break my hair. Maybe because I do it right after I wash. The breakage is real girlfriend!! I will definitely try your method of doing it on dry hair!!!! Stay beautiful! #TeamJBCOChallenge
Hey luv! Yes, thy could definitely be the reason. I love doing braidouts on freshly washed (so my hair isn’t weighed down) but dry hair. I find my hair retains more moisture and I get way less breakage. Thanks for joining the castor oil challenge. What level are you doing?
I kno this is sort of old but could you make a video on how to do a braid out? Im currently paying $30 once a month to get my hair braided and seeing this video made it look soooooooo simple!!! New subscriber! 💕 the natural lifestyle is not for me!!!!
The longer you stretch the fuller and thicker your hair will appear in the braid out. If you pull it off of your shoulders while working out (high bun) I don’t see why it wouldn’t last.
Damn! #TeamRelaxedGirls winning out in these streets 😍
Lol. Thanks hun. We are here to stay!! 💗💗
Hairlicious Inc. amazing! Most beautiful hair I’ve seen. Please stay! We need you!!!
Thank you so much. You are the sweetest 🙌🏾

It's no competition both natural and relaxed hair winning ‼️
Natural hair is trending a lot nowadays, I am a natural, but I must admit that ur hair is so beautiful and healthy and u look so content with it. I donno, maybe I may texlax sometime.. Lol,
Now I'm REALLY thinking about relaxing my hair. If I can still have braid outs AND not worry about shrinkage?? Whew, I'm almost there.
Girl. I love a braidout😍

I can't corn row to save a life so this I'll definitely do next wash day lol
Lol. Same here! I’m horrible at cornrows!! This method works just the same.
Same here smh lol

Best low manipulation style Iv seen on relaxed hair.

I find myself doing braidouts more and more lately, especially if I want to wear my hair down without flat ironing.

I'm relaxing in 2 weeks. This is my second attempt at natural hair and I've realized it's just not for me.
Can't wait to get my relaxer.

I will be trying this today! Trying to take a step back from heat!
My favourite ‘no heat’ style❤️
This is nice I am going to do this on my hair tonight. Simple and easy to do.
Super cute. Would live to see 2nd and 3rd day hair from this routine! 💜
I do it all of the time. I’ll have to include it another video.
definitely going to try this on my hair. you have such healthy beautiful hair. thanks so much for sharing your knowledge with us.
I’ve never heard of braid outs until very recently. It’s truly beautiful. I’m sold! I can’t wait to try it. Glad I found your channel. Thank you!!
Mia Williams yes it’s an easy low manipulation style that doesn’t require heat. I appreciate your comment. Thank you for watching!!
The music just got me in the mood for Friday and it's Thursday love your hair I too am on a relaxed hair journey
Ughh love this! Will be relaxing and binge watching.
OMG, I didn't think you could get results like this with more than two plats. Oh how gorgeous and shiny 👌🏾 LOVELY! BTW, how many weeks post?
Thanks so much hun!! I’m 11 or 12 weeks post in the video. I can’t remember the exact number so I put both. Lol
So gorgeous . My favorite style 😍
I love the style. Your hair is lovely.
I love braidouts too. Big hair don’t care. Thanks hun!!
New to your channel and I am so inspired to grow my relaxed hair! How do you maintain your braid out? Do you re-braid each night? Thanks so much!!

Aww thanks luv. Yes, of course!!
Thanks for sharing I'm looking forward to trying this soon. It looks VERY simple to do
How to you sleep to keep the hairstyle good for the week?? I usually have to re-braid every night which to me defeats the purpose.
I do the “pineapple method” so I pile all of my hair at the top and put it in a secure bun overnight. It could be the products you’re using too. Don’t give up.
My question is answered. I have decided to relax my 1yr natural hair now that am still in quarantine and this is very helpful. Thank you
Beautiful!!
This has always been my fav hair channel on RUclips, it was your blog that got me into hair care years ago! Thanks! lol
Thank you so much for your support💕

Braids out for the win!!
O! M! G! I love this style!! Absolutely gorgeous! How long did you let your hair air dry before doing the braidout? I'm not sure if my hair should be dried completely or still a little damp. Thanks for another great tutorial!
Thanks so much!! My hair was completely dry, no dampness. It took my hair approximately 3/3.5 hours to dry. Thank you for watching💕

SAMEEE!! I love the fullness and texture it gives.
❤️❤️ I love braid outs
I love them too!! I can enjoy my hair being down without the use of heat.
U only use it for a day or how can we “ preserve “ de corls?
I love your hair. Did you braid in a specific direction?
so beautiful, i definitely need to give it a try!
I appreciate that 😍
Perfection at its best. Thanks friend.
It turned out very well!

Hi hun! Welcome💕 no I didn’t blow dry my hair first. I just let it air dry.
Absolutely Love this
Thank you.
I love your hair!!!! BTW Which relaxer did you use to straighten your hair, or did you get it done at a shop?
I do my relaxers at home with the help of my sister. I use ORS olive oil relaxer. Check out my Q&A video on my relaxed hair. Everything I do it in that video.
Love your videos 😊
Awww thanks hun💕
Can you do a video on your perm rod tutorial you did a couple years ago on your blog? I’ve tried to recreate it many times but I’m always unsuccessful
I love the style on you! I still need to master the braid out style 😅
Thanks sis!!💗
Question, if you don't have perm rods, what can you use as a substitution to close the ends?
Satin pillow rollers, flexi rods etc.
@@HairliciousInc Ok, thank you, now I do have Flexi rods
I have started doing the braid out on my relaxed hair, however I find myself re-braiding on the second day. How do you keep yours for 4 days?
I do the pineapple method at night. I put it up in a very high bun and tie my hairline with a satin scarf. In the morning I fluff and go.
LOVE IT💖
Thank youuu
This makes me miss my relaxed hair 😭
Awwww💕
Please explain how to preserve this lovely style for the next day and the next.
Stunning, will give this a try. Love the CON Butter Milk 🖤
Thanks sis!! That hair milk just works wonders in my hair. I love it too!
Omg it turned out soo pretty😍 what can I use if I don’t have a leave in conditioner though?
Thanks so much. I suggest a hair lotion, butter cream or moisturizer is perfectly fine.
I love ur videos!! 😍
What do u do to make ur hair bounce??
It’s the products. They work perfectly with this style.
I enjoyed this video. And gave me a great style

Nice. I notice u had a bottle of that cream of nature conditioner in the back. How do u like it. Does it leave your hair moisturizer.
Thanks! I like it a lot and it moisturizes my hair pretty well. I did my mid week wash day routine video using that conditioner!! Check it out.
I have fine hair, so how many weeks post relaxer will give the best results? Also does it hold up after a vigurous workout?
The longer you stretch the fuller and thicker your hair will appear in the braid out. If you pull it off of your shoulders while working out (high bun) I don’t see why it wouldn’t last.
