Guys, I can't explain how thankful I am to you guys.. Two of my pens had stopped working and I didn't want to trouble my parents for such a simple thing.. This tip helped me in using them again.. Thank you!
I don't know how many times I have revived my safari's blue ink cartridge with this. Although the ink is fading away each time lol. I need to get a new cartridge soon!!
Thanks so much because like after 1 year of not using my $30 parker fountain pen it didn’t work and after watching your this video it worked thanks so much and for you work you earned a sub Take care ❤
Thank you for this, my pen wasn't since 4-5 months and I was worried that do we have to buy a new one? I saw your video and it finally worked ...I can't tell how much grateful I am...🎉🎉🙏🙏
Not too sure with pens inked up with WP inks, but I think it still could help to dislodge the dried ink and help the pen to write someway or the other. Can give it a go, and let us know :) Thanks for watching! ;)
@@pen_journalThanks for answer so soon. In case you are interested: I am researching this and see different advice. From ice water, to diluting alcohol or glass cleaner in water... to directly immersing the nib in pure alcohol or glass cleaner. Until I'm sure, I don't want to risk it, of course. Not only because of the value of the pen, but also because of its sentimental value. Thanks anyway from Spain.
@@hellboy7424 I see! Interesting! I think various inks react differently, water is just the easy way out to quickly "unclog" the dried up inks in the nibs... and write again.
Thanks for watching :) If that is the case with the pen, I would recommend a complete cleaning of the pen. The feed or nib could be clogged up. Hope this helps :) it’s meant to be a quick fix to get the pen “going” :)
It could be a nib issue, BUT I would do these things in order: 1) Inspect the nib for misaligned tines. 2) Do a complete thorough clean of the pen and change to a different ink.
@@dr_ink7268 They used to in the past, a few models carried the #3 nibs: Examples: Stella 90s, Legno, Quattro etc. Now they stop production for these models
Please help me ...my brother has dropped my brand new luoshi fountain pen yesterday and today, and now it doesn't even work The tines were splayed, and after fixing it and aligning the tines, it won't even write well and smoothly........ Should I get a new pen or try and fix it again?
Btw would you consider luoshi fountain pens to be good? They are a new brand to me, and I usually go with Faber Castell since they are the only ones near me-
@@FeathersOnFire To be honest I've no experience with this brand... I think it would come down to personal "feel" about the pen you are using... it doesn't have to be expensive to have a good fountain pen experience :)
Normally this is to get a fountain pen that is not written for a long time to start writing again. Reason is that the ink at the nib area has dried up. Thus getting water into the nib area "unclogs" the channels and dried ink. If you pen couldn't write on the get go, this won't solve it. Hope it helps :)
It will get lighter for a while, just use it on blank paper first until the color is back to normal. Also don't put the pen nib to water too long, just dip for about 1 sec will do the work

it worked❤
Awesome!!! :)
Only dip into clean water without ink or with ink ??
Clean water will do. It should get any clogged dried ink to becoming undone, and the pen should write again :)
Now the pen is writing very lightly after getting mixed with water.
Then pen should write with it's normal ink colour once you write with it longer :)
Hi bro, what fountain pen are you using in the first section of the video?
It's a Pilot Legno 89s brother. Thanks for watching! ;)

My new Pierre Cardin Golden Eye fountain pen isn't working. I tried this method and it worked for some time again it stopped
Maybe you can try to do a complete flush and clean. Refill with fresh ink and try again. Let me know how it goes.
@@pen_journal I already did that. It did work for some time. But again it stopped writing!
@@sohamghosh6166 Sorry to hear that, I can't really advice, as I'm not familiar with that pen. What ink did you use by the way?

is this working for ball point ?
No, it's for Fountain Pens (as normally they used water-dyed based ink)

Sorry to hear about the drop.
I would suggest, to bring it to a proper nib-meister in your area, and get it attended to...

is this a permanent fix or temporary?

Pls do not try it 😮😮😮 my pen has stopped working 😅😅😅😅

Bro it didnt work now my fountain pen is working lesser than before pls help
What's the issue ? The pen having hard starts?
@@pen_journal oh lol i figured it out it started working after some minutes but when i write too much the ink starts to dry out what do i do
@@Devilhunter69 I think maybe you can try to do a proper cleaning out of the pen. And see how it goes.
Or else you can use a hair dryer
I'm not sure, the heat may melt the plastic material of the pen if you are not careful. I would not advise on that to be honest.
Are u kidding me 😡😡
