kung budget mo is around 30k maybe try finding one like outside BGC area, maybe like 10mins away, you might be able to find a bigger space around that budget
My Filipino wife and I have been binge watching your Vlog this week. We are coming to BGC for the month of January to explore a possible move from Florida. The positives are we could live off our saving like a one-percenter for the rest of our life's in BGC. But Cons are the humid weather, rainy season, poor air and water quality or quality health care. Also, the condo prices are-over valued in BGC for have risen 150% in just the past 5 years. Lastly, is once one moves to the PH, there is no going back to the US, for it would be difficult to start all over. Once one sells everything, it would be costly to purchase it all back and find another affordable home to buy. We purchased our home in Florida for $140,000 10 years ago and now it is valued at $350,000 and it continues to rise. Best Wishes on your move and will keep watching for how things go.
Hi Vanessa, great vlog! How is the noise level? Can you hear your neighbor or street noise? Salamat
Hi, hindi maiiwasan yung noise from the streets. Also, if you live in a high floor naman, you won’t really hear the traffic noise. Neigbors namin are okay naman. Walang nagpparty. 😅 The internet here is so fast!! Lahat naman sila nag ooffer ng fiber optics like globe & PLDT.
I agree.. we have the same sentiments 🥲 they don’t allow gas burner stoves in the condos because of a bad fire incident happened in the year 2000s when a condo unit in high street bgc blew up and caught in fire.
If you are renting a condo unit for ₱30k a month and HOA is already “included”. - a description they usually use here which means that the renters do NOT need to worry abt paying extra for HOA besides his rent because HOA is already taken cared by the owner. The bigger problem here is that some rental prices are ridiculously high. Higher than Indonesia or Vietnam.
Hello Vanessa, I also want to move back sa pinas for a year. Kaso i have pets (chihuahua and cat). When you go around again can you find out pet friendly buildings?

Ridgewood Towers beside BGC & opposite MC Kinley Hills is better choice. All walking distance.
Don't have a heat stroke😮. Make sure your close to Manila Doctors since strokes are very high this time of year.

Why are renters paying HOA dues and not the owner?

Thanks Vanessa for this info waiting for Part 2.
You’re welcome ☺️
How much are like 4bedroom apartments in BCG?
Wala pong makati condos diyan.
Whats avg cost of 2 br 2 ba condo ? No vlogger talks about that and is the monthly maint fee reasonable?
Average is ₱80k - ₱200k depending on which condo you want to rent out. If its an Ayala condo then it will cost you around ₱200k/month.

There are plenty of pet friendly condos here in metro manila. No need to worry 🙂
Pwede ba mag rent ng 3 months?
Pwede po sa Airbnb. Pero pag regular rental lang is usually 6months or 1yr.
Hey Vanessa! Nice pinas videos. Why did you decide to go back home for good?
