@@dvader518 It's technically not Double Sunday as Raditz never uses the attack in canon, only references it when he's threatening to kill Piccolo with it (getting interrupted before he can use it the two times he tries to use it)... So we don't actually know what Double Sunday does or would look like. Neither "Here's a Present." or "Begone." Can really be considered canon since (somehow) Raditz doesn't know about ki charging... despite working with Vegeta for most of his life... who's signature technique, Galick Gun, is a ki charging technique that is near identical to that of the Kamehameha (I don't think Toriyama thought that part through lol)
My favorite thing about the "Behind you!" move is similar to the reasons I love Saibaman's self destruct move. Use it against any super powerful opponent and make them look weak. Here it's even better because it's just the two people throwing hands and Raditz embarrasses them
Raditz's ultimate in Tenkachi 3 and the Raging Blast games are so hard to choose. They're both great looking attacks! I know it's not related to this video, but I still wish Raditz was in Fighterz. His interactions with the characters in story mode would have been interesting to watch if he was in that game.
Raditz my boy, I discovered how fun he was thanks to Raging Blast and can't wait to see if he lives up to that in Sparking Zero. And you are right, I found it IMMENSELY satisfying to punish spammers with him online
one weird thing i noticed is that his supers names instead of being there normal names like double sunday and saturday crash, they use quote's for the names instead
even tho RB is not on par with bt3 to me regarding “game feel”, i will forever love it for giving us some of the sauciest movesets in db games. especially my boy Metal Cooler, cant wait to see his retrospective 🤩
The gigant(ic) thing sounds like a translation quirk. Japanese uses "Gigant" instead of "Giant" when using English loanwords for a big object (as One Piece fans can attest). But it sounds awkward in English. My guess is that it was an internal memo that accidentally made it into the final game.
It's neat Raging Blast Raditz has the tools to deal with spamming noobs cause that's basically his role in DBZ, to act as a giant skill check for the rest of the fighters in the show.
It was always odd to me that they didn't reprise his "Double Sunday" super from Budokai in these games, but regardless they got around to giving him a unique and cool moveset by the Raging Blast games. I enjoyed the outro on this and it's nice to see more minor characters covered, as you said they sometimes end up having surprisingly unique movesets.
My only complain is with the names, why are they avoiding so much to use the Budokai Names, "Fools Must Die!" and "Here's a Present" are clearly "Double Sunday" and "Saturday Crush", I know they sound kind of silly with the Weekday Naming Theme, but it had charm to it
*BT2 Raditz:* "Who are you?"
*BT1 Raditz:* "I'm you, but stronger!"
BT2 IS BETTER THAN BT1 NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY.
@@kwstas-d8fNot with Raditz. That's his point. Watch the video.
@@spartanq7781 Damn you say this because his energy waves are purple on BT1 and on BT2 are light purple, thats stupid to say BT1 is better than BT2.
@@kwstas-d8f On that. Geez it's not so serious as to argue over.
I love moves that give the opponent some agency in the animation, so I have a soft spot for "Behind you!"
Just give the guy back his double Sunday
They did in Raging Blast under a new name.
That would first require Raditz ever actually used Double Sunday in canon so that the game designers knew what it did lol

My 1st and favourite DBZ villain. He sounded so awesome in the Ocean dub
Your first? He was THE first DBZ villain 😂
@@jayway7485 Not every person watched DBZ on the 1st episode.
He has one of the most unique fighting styles imo, the kicks are hella cool
Can't believe i'm hearing you again after all these years

His attacks being named after the days of the week is exclusive to games developed by Dimps (Budokai, Xenoverse, Legends)
@@tpx7414Can't remember if it's in the same in the book, but Raditz name drops Double Sunday in the anime
To be honest, Raditz is one of faviorite characters to play as in DBZ games. I don't really know why, but his supers and summons are fun
Plus, he has that underdog energy to him. Like, seeing him win is oddly satisfying.
Summons?
days of the week man

Never forget Mullet Monkey.

What
He had such massive potential as goku older brother. Thank you masakoX for giving him and Nappa there time to shine.
can't wait for the 30 minute "Goku BT4 Moveset Retrospective" in a few days

Ngl i miss when his moves was named after days of the week
DON’T CHOKE 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
The nostalgia is real
Why does he say "behind you" in one of the raging blast moves though, when he gets attacked from behind? Am I missing something?
Talking aloud to himself, probably. Lol
No, honestly, it doesn't make sense. Maybe had something to do with the translation, or they mixed up his voice lines.
he attacks them from behind when they think they have the drop on him
@tylerb2523
No, he doesn't.
Always makes me laugh how dub great apes just sound like some guy going “ROOOOARRRR!!!!”
That what is it is
You should do a video on what your ideal moveset would look like for each character
Oh this mans channel is about to to go STUPID with sparking zero coming out
Did he hit piccolo with his elbow?
Gigant(ic) Rock Throw
Waiting for your moveset videos bro.
We need Ultimate Tenkaichi and Zenkai battle Royal to be included in these, especially Ultimate Tenkaichi since the movesets are SO much better
2 more days for peak
Next nappa❤
Hmmm, not really sure if I should
practice with him in Sparking Zero.

GG
Imagine if Raditz ends up being a god in Sparking Zero 🤭
Even after all these years my man still has a bad audio
Double Sunday
Saturday crush
Friday crash
wake up babe, new Omega2040 moveset vid just dropped
Garlic jr next
weekend
KO are you gonna do Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connection soon? They got some new characters you can look at.
gonna have to diagree and say zbt2 raditz is better cause better iconic voicelines
and I mostly just mean I like the laugh at the end of his rush
I'm always struck by how much worse Raging Blast 2 looks compared to Raging Blast 1.
I personally think rb2 looks better. But I do definitely understand why people don't agree. It's definitely a style preference.
The black and white dots on Raditz's ultimate are so cool looking in Raging Blast.
My wish was granted, thank you for your continued work Omega 🫡
