This one looks reminiscent of the green shark ukulele from Makala. I review that one a while back. The shark model didn't have the black strings and I can't remember what type of wood top it had... but it looks/sounds very similar. Like you, I was pretty impressed with it. It sounds/handles pretty darn good for a beginner-level uke. Nice review.

I think the new version costs about $30 more than I paid for the model reviewed in this vid, back when I bought it. It's cute to have when I travel, but I just don't think it's a $60 uke.
These days - for this niche - I'd probably lean more toward the Kala Ukadelic just based on it being $20 cheaper than the current Dolphins. And for $10 less than the Dolphin, you get those Ukadelics that have funky designs on them.

There are certainly lots of inexpensive options out there these days! Thanks for watching and commenting!
