Yeah man I put them back on about a year ago? I have a video somewhere on it - but the rock chips were not worth the no rubbing. I went back to rubbing for a little bit, eventually it got less (just rubbed a little off the flap but not much) although now I'm on Dobinson MRR 2.5" Lift and still 265's so no rub whatsoever - also had a custom alignment done which brought wheel forward a bit to get less rub. Going 285's for the next mod. still should not rub on 2.5" lift.

Same with mine, the rubbing was very minor though, just noticed it on the first few KMs and then eventually it never occurred or got worse.
