Chrome fender delete next? Colour matched or black? And some carbon mirrors? A detailing video would also be cool. Appreciate the content, have a nice weekend! ✌🏼
Yikes, sorry man. I will say, good on drifthq for the partial refund and it looks like you did as good of a job as possible on the install regardless of the subpar roof. To your point earlier in the video... It is funny how many people talk shit on alibaba/express parts yet those same people buy the same exact product but with a mark up from a "reputable" company that just rebranded the alibaba part.
That definitely seems to be what's happening right now, Companies buying bulk carbon parts from China then rebranding, or even selling them as is with a huge mark up! 😅
Get yourself a detailer and get the roof machine polished, its very normal with CF panels... or you could sand the resin back and get another layer on top with uv additives
You should have maybe DUCKed that club. Nah, but in all seriousness most of the carbon products out there weather and age bad, it's like these companies lay a thin coat of clear from a can, then it gets dusty in the warehouse and they wipe it over with a cheap old cloth. I'd just lightly buff/correct it to get the swirls and some haze out, then ceramic coat it and keep it out of the sun when possible. Atleast you got half of your money back. Either way it looks cool regardless, looks like a proper track weapon, the carbon really works with the dark colour and the white cage pops! ❤
Yup very lazy finish. doesn't help that they sent me a picture of a crazy gloss one and then send me this crap lol They did not want to help me in the end, so they are going to get the light they deserve.
Nice job man. Imo it does not look that bad most of these companies are just going to push product. Quantity over quality. They will show you a picture perfect product but you are not going to get that. I would a good detail and it will be perfect.
As someone who builds carbon parts for a living, leaving them in packaging is very bad... The resin can bloom and humity can set in and cause all sorts of issues... Definitely the hazing could be caused by that... Scratches maybe not...
I have had other carbon products in same room good as new. Another thing I was thinking is it got lost in shipment and was in a container for 1-2months maybe? That’s much hotter. But like we both see, those scratches are red flag.
Thats big duck club for ya, i ordered a abs delete got the wrong fittings from them and it stripped a brake line. They could care less and there products are shit
It sad cause the actual carbon seems well, i could tell it was strong when cutting and drilling into it compared to others in past. Really think just lazy craftsman ship, that's almost worse than having poor quality lol

Classic crap carbon. That needs sanding and clear coating properly. No doubt that’ll fade badly in the sun.
It sad cause the actual carbon seems well, i could tell it was strong when cutting and drilling into it compared to others in past. Really think just lazy craftsman ship, that's almost worse than having poor quality lol
@ yep, thats what I mean, whoever finished the carbon clearly didn’t care. Way too common.
