- Putting my money where my mouth is! 💕 Sharing a first impressions for the bag I purchased and my experience using the gifted hobo. I was not asked by Ateliers Auguste to make this video. I was not obligated to share any follow-up. I doubt they have ever heard of "will it grocery store?" my superior rating system! 😂 I try to make the videos I find helpful, so I plan to share updates and wear and tear as I would do for any purchased bag.
The MARCEAU HOBO is very similar in size to the small Gucci Jackie.
Opening is about 20cm x 3.5cm
Widest part of the bag is 24cm x 14cm x 5cm (but keep in mind it curves up, so you cannot use the full length all the way up)
Purchased ROQUETTE BELT BAG in black smooth leather. A few colors are on sale, and I'm so obsessed ❤️
The leather on both of them looks so thick and luxurious! 😍
The hobo bag leather is thinner than the belt bag, but both still feel really luxurious! The hobo bag reminds me of the Celine Ava 😊

Absolutely I will!! 😊 Both bag styles are in the sale right now, and the little voice in my head is whispering 'buy all the colors... oooh look red!' 😅 but I'm staying strong 💕

Hi is the Marceau strap stiff? Like it’ll stay up and doesn’t really mold to the shoulder.
So sorry for the late reply; I wouldn't call the strap stiff, but it isn't floppy either. It sits on my shoulder, and I think it will become softer with use. It only slips off if I'm wearing something like a thick, soft sweater.
May I know if you can adjust the straps to be worn as crossbody? I am looking for a crossbody hobo. Thanks,
No, this is strictly a shoulder bag. The strap is only adjustable by a few centimeters. They have crossbody bags, but they're all a flap style. I used to have a hobo crossbody from AllSaints that was fantastic, but I recently gave it to my mom. They might have something! Good luck in your search 😊

That's a good way to spice up a routine haha. I have 3 supermarkets that I visit depending on my mood, and one is fancy for those fancy days
