Why do you prefer the old version instead of the new one? Just curious because I keep going back to the old one… but would love to find if anyone has the same feeling! Love your videos!
Good question, but I guess it's two things: habit and the assumption that most viewers are still use the old version so it's easier for them to follow 😊

Ok Lea but I do not have that File option and as far as I can tell am running the New version of Outlook. Also try as I may I cannot add my Gmail account to Outlook after getting hundreds of requests from Microsoft to do so through the Settings option So what do I do??
I would appreciate a companion video for the web-app version of Outlook. It's supposedly the same product, but it has some significant differences and I can't always find a workaround.

Hi Theresa! I am using MS 365, so it should be for the latest version. However, I believe those basics should not change at all or too much from version to version. Hope they work for your. Best, Lea

I heared in the retail version ist only light or dark mode possible. I like the grey mode shown in your video. but grey mode is only available in Offcie 365, corrrect? what screen resolution is this. I like the small letter --> good overview.

Great video. Thank you very much. I am unable to find an answer anywhere, maybe you can assist with a question I have. Is it possible to add two different email addresses to one contact. So when sending an email, choose that one contact and it automatically sends to those two email addresses?
Hi Ruby, not sure if I understand what you are asking. For sure, you can add/sync different email addresses to Outlook. If you have done so, you can choose from which email address you would like to send an email. Hope this helps, Lea

Re New MS outlook in 2024 - changes

I do not work (retired), the main feature I use in the Classic MS Outlook is the Calendar for all my daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly appointments (I cannot function without my calendar - So teams, emails etc. are not important. But I use emails sometimes but mostly use Gmail.
I did switch to the new outlook, but I did not like it - so many features of the calendar are missing. I switched back to the classic outlook.
My question is when I am forced to use the new outlook, are all my appointments / reminders will transfer over, also the customized quick access bar will exist??
Currently my outlook (MS office 365) is linked to iCloud for windows, So I have access to my calendar on my iPhone, my laptop and Desktop which helps me to add or update any appointment in any of the 3 that I use at home or if I am out and add new appointment on my iPhone - would this feature will exist ?

Are you using iOS version of Outlook or iOS Mail with your Outlook account?
Outlook for iOS (and Android) works well (in my experience and those of most of the clients/friends I support -- as a semi-retiree).
It can synch calendars and contacts and manage multiple mail accounts -- including IMAP and gmail.
iOS has a few limitations such as not supporting images (pics/logos) in mail signatures.
Plenty of documentation and videos -- including Copilot.
Several long-time gmail and Apple Mail users have switched to using Outlook on all devices for mail, calendar and contacts.

Agreed. The "new improved" Outlook is slow cumbersome unwieldy....it takes me an hour to do what took less than 10 minutes in the predecessor version. All this repeated "Access Denied....Sign in again".....horrid! Cheers from Mexico City!

Maybe you have a different version or use the browser version? Maybe you have just hidden your bars... hope you can find it out!

This would be more helpful if you explained the " how to" at a slower pace and your images were larger and easier to see.
