Arithmetic is all about strong concepts and a lot of practice.I personally preferred mocks for practice. I would suggest you to clear your basics and then solve questions that are asked in mocks/quizzes rather than using a book as the questions in mocks/quizes are updated according to the latest trends.
@@meghashankar4559 that depends on many factors like how much you know beforehand, how quickly do you grasp things, which sections you are good/bad at etc. So plan your strategy accordingly. There is no fixed answer to this. People study for 10 hours a day and don't get through whereas some crack it by doing even 3-4 hours per day or less.I hope you got my point.
Reading about hot topics from editorials and other sources can give you a 360 degree view of the topic and hence give you a lot of content to proceed with.

Bro mere GD wale group me se 3 logon ka hua,and all 3 of us were speaking in English. It's preferable to use English as this is a pan India job. You have enough time so improve your skills.
There is no hard and fast rule on how many hours to study. It depends on person to person and time to time .Some days I did 5-6 hrs some days I did 2-3 hrs. Just make sure you are improving yourself day by day.
